There were a few blatant hints mate like I mentioned. Also im assuming you read the thread which mentions the time change? If yes then maybe you should have PM'd gprili if you were unsure of the specific settings. Whats the point of time change if theres no day night transition? I bit of common sense generally goes a long way...

I read all regulations and i went to the wsccc (i think that´s the way is called) link, where i read that the competitions are run by experienced organizers, and that´s the reason i decided to book a entry.

If is to straightforward that "weather change/time change" mean that the lobby settings will be other that the default ones, whats the point to mention a different settings for the weather in that rules, like gippone did?

If somebody want to organize a race there, with personal settings (weather and time) should mention both in the rules, not only the weather ones.

The way gippone did, can mistaken the reader to believe that only the weather will be different than the default settings.

Cheers.

Dear TAKITALA, if the regulations stated in the main thread were not clear to you (and I'm sorry if they weren't), why did not you ask first a clarification to me in PM? Why you waited the end of the race for unleashing this hatred? Why you did not ask to me when you saw us (with kk20) training at night? Why do you think you can impose to me to cancel race results?

My friend.
The regulations are perfectly clear for me, so i have no reason to question you about that before the race.

If you intend to have a day-night-day race (something i think is a great idea), you must mention the settings (to have that) in the regulations, like you did with the weather settings.
Mention your´s weather settings and not to do the same with your´s time settings, give to the reader the certainty that the default will be used for the time.
No reason for questions than.

All this issue came public, because you ignored my request, by 3 private messages (PSN), for a full clarification and decided to publish the final results (with total disdain for the issue i raised) without, at least, have a quiet private word with me.

This was a private issue and i think should remained like that, if by no more reasons, because i´m also a competitions organizer and i been in a similar situation that you are with this problem.
That time, i´ve been more than one hour talking with the guy, in a GT5 lobby, until reached a agreement.

Another day, after one race, i received a upset message because rained all the race.
I send a message back, remembering that the regulations said that the weather settings will be "weather:50%/weather changeability:10 and that mean that the weather can be, sunshine; rain; sunshine-rain; rain-sunshine; rain-sunshine-rain; etç..."
I received a apologies.

Unfortunately you can´t do the same.
You have no message telling me that "the rules..." to send me, because your regulations did´t mention time changes settings.

So, you blamed me for a problem you caused two times, when you write the rules and when i raised the issue.

After, when i been answering a message from you, you send me one telling me that you will exclude me if i send another message about this issue.
I press submit, i read your last message and moments, after, you send me one telling me that i´m excluded, without taking in account that, i can´t read your´s messages wile i´m writing another.
I think i been treated without fairness by you.

Cheers.

With all this, a forgot to tell you that, if rain when you open the lobby, it will be more than 0% water surface in the race start, so is convenient to change the regulations to address that.

I´ve more than 300 hour´s in empty lobby´s, only testing the weather settings and more than 100 testing time settings (can´t be tested together because the clouds), so, if you want, i can help you to find the right settings for the weather and time you want to have in your´s competitions.

Cheers.

Absolutely brilliant race today guys.:D

Started 9th, got up to 7th by turn one, don't know how, and second by the end of the Kemmel straight, I got up into the lead after a couple of laps, then joshua took it and that ended up being the race-winning move, I fell behind with a couple of spins but I waited till the water went to under 80% to switch to inters, worked brilliantly, I caught the group that was battling for 3rd at that time, killa made his way into the middle of that group, made a few mistakes and I was right behind him on the way out, he went way wide at Pouhon one lap and I got past him, but at that stage my tyres were ruined and I pitted shortly after he got back past me, I stayed on inters, he came in a lap later and kept his advantage but I got him straight away on Kemmel, he was on hards, I drove off on him and set off to catch mindlessriff to took 2nd due to our stops, by the time I caught him the tyres were awful due to a half dry track, I went in again and took hards, came out in front of killa but behind sagarismic, it was tough to control but I was able to catch sag within a couple of lap, mindless came in a lap after I think and came out just behind me and killa, I got right on the tail of sag on the final lap and he spun just in front of me going into the turn 8 hairpin, which left me to finish 2nd, brilliant race.:D

And I think I'm now championship leader.

Congrats to Joshua and the podium finishers.

I'm left to rue my big mistake on lap 1: lost it after blanchimont and spun like a top on the grass. Lost 20 seconds and fell to dead last. Started coming back through the field and though I made lots more small mistakes, no large costly spins. Had far too many penalties at Eau Rouge, some warranted but 3-4 penalties when I was legally on the track. That allowed the pack of Akmuq, Mindless and KK to catch me on the last lap whne I was on worn inters. Went off when I tried to push too hard because they were right on my tail. I made my second stop a lap or two too early. Another second place was right there, but I threw it away.
