Place any value in there. The higher it is, the more bouncy the cars will get.
Whoa! can't wait 2 try it my escudo! LOL :D in the demo do u know if it's possible 2 access were it says "goodies"? (whats referred to as bonus items in the full version)

I did indeed have a code for the multiplier for the AI. But I was rather busy, and I forgot to post it. My bad.

801DEC58 XXXX <- P2
801DEE18 XXXX <- P3
801DEFD8 XXXX <- P4
801DF198 XXXX <- P5
801DF358 XXXX <- P6

It works similar to the multiplier I posted earlier. You can keep these codes active anywhere, it won't crash the game.
Thanks A LOT! 👍
I just tried it, it seems to work fine. I just understood that P2 is the 5th AI and P6 the 1st one. The weird thing is I tried to put 5.00 (1fa) as multiplier for P2 and the car was really slowed down instead of being pushed...

EDIT Actually it's when I put a value higher than FF, which multiplies by 2.55, that the effect seems to be reversed and the cars are slowed down. Otherwise it's great :)

Ok there's another code I'd like to know about : is it possible to activate tyre wear in races (other than endurance) ?

Yeah, it's a bit strange how it works. Took me a while to figure it out.

I would believe it's possible to, but I need to find out how to get it to enable.

Okey this is kinda dumb question, but what are the highest and lowest values you can set for bouncing mayhem? p.s I'm not a gameshark expert

Okey is it possible that there is a camera that you can move anywhere you want like a debug camera or a view positioned where you can see the whole track from above? Im wanting 2 draw out a map of what that dart test track looks like and I'm wanting an above view if it can be done

You can place any value up to FF. Any value can work there.

As far as I'm aware, there is no debug camera for GT2. I've searched everywhere for it, but to no avail.

For what you're trying to get, try value 14, or 15. You may have to experiment with the values.

On the view changer?

I figured out what this view is! It is another view were it's positioned underneath the car, but further back were the rear wheels are.

On the view changer?

Yep, on the view changer. It should give you a good view of the track to help with what you want to do.

Thanks for the info on the glitchy view, i'll add it to the opening post.

Yea it's like value 1A that is positioned under the cars shadow, but were the rear wheels are;)
I was thinking we could call value 1A "undercarriage view" because thats what it really is.

So is this a hidden car or sumthin? what exactly does it do?:confused:

So is this a hidden car or sumthin? what exactly does it do?:confused:

The Lotus Elise Sport is a car that was in the demo version, but is hidden in the final GT2 version.

This code gives it vital car parts to make it drive like a Lotus Elise, and not the RX-7 LM it defaults to.

I think it's due to the tyre wear being set to a certain value in single races, and simply won't change.

I'll see if there's a way to change that.

Okey Xenn i need sum help, i have problem with sumthin when i was using the "Buy any car" code. If i buy any of the rally cars that are only available in arcade mode with the code they all have that RX-7's performance. In example if i bought the VW Golf rally car (which is originally only available on arcade) it has that 542 HP RX-7 performance. Can u help me restore all these rally cars from the arcade mode please? (P.S. if u don't know what rally cars are included in arcade mode (originally) look at this list right here it's under were it says "Arcade Rally Cars"

I can look into this and see what they use.

It might not be as simple as my last code, but i'll try.

Okey sorry for the short notice, but do u think u can do this with all the other cars listed on that page like the Prius with the hidden racing modification and all the rest? (except the ones listed under "Wierd Stuff") Just like the rally cars, if I buy any of the "deleted" cars like that prius with the hidden race mod and the rest, they all have that RX-7's performance and im wanting the cars the way there supposed 2 be. Im wanting the performance for both the rally cars i mentioned earlier and the ones i mentioned in this post for the NTSC 1.2 and PAL versions, if it can be done:bowdown:

Okey in response to the "Corrupt Laguna Seca" pictured there, i entered the code for it and everything and tried it out and it takes me to what looks like the "original" Laguna Seca instead. Is there a fix for this? im asking anybody who knows. (P.S. yes i know ya'll are probly wondering, why would i want to race on that track? Well i know it probly ain't much to see but i like to "explore the unknown".:)
Edit: Nevermind i figured it out, it has to be in something other than machine test to show this "Corrupt Laguna Seca". It shows (what looks like) the original Laguna Seca in Machine test but everywhere else it doesn't. Might want to note that. (Just saying)

For anybody who plays the Gran Turismo 2 Demo, if any of ya'll are are tired of having a limited selection in car choice when you know there are others you could be driving here is something ya'll might like:)
This works for the Pizza Hut Demo Disc Two, Jampack Winter '99, Gran Turismo 2 Bonus Disc and the Playstation Underground vol. 27.

"Gran Turismo 2\1st Place, All Opponents Crash, Zero Time 1
80048A38 0000
"Gran Turismo 2\Enable Home Garage
D0029650 0081
80029650 0001
"Gran Turismo 2\Enable Guest Garage
D0029664 0081
30029664 0001
Just thought i would share that with everybody:)

I've heard about this code that you can turn off the headlights when night-racing. It needs a Joker Command. Here:

Headlights On or Off (NTSC 1.2)

D00A9538 0040 L-3 Analog Stick (If you can fix it to L2 Button, much appreciated)
801D589C 8252
D00A9538 0040
801D589E 35B8..HSR joker set.

D00A9538 4000 R-3 (Here, try to fix it for the Select Button)
801D589C 5B55
D00A9538 4000
801D589E 33D9..CSR5 joker set.

Now I don't know how this code should work. Give it a try. I've heard that you need to do a pre-race test drive or something.

Here's the website that I found it:

Okey i need some help. What is this joker command you speak of, how do I use it (in this purpose) and how do I use this activator?

D01F0C9A XXXX

FFFF = Nothing
FFEF = Up
FFDF = Right
FF7F = Left
FFBF = Down
DFFF = Circle
EFFF = Triangle
7FFF = Square
BFFF = X
FFFE = Select
FFF7 = Start
F7FF = R1
FDFF = R2
FEFF = L2
FBFD = L1
Im asking anyone who knows:)

Sorry for the late reply. Basically, a Joker Command is part of a code which you place in an existing code to make a code activate through a button press.

For example:

Enable/Disable Tyre Wear (Joker Command)
D01F0C9A FFFE <- Press Select
80046F29 0C35
D01F0C9A FEFF <- Press L2
80046F29 0000

What I have done is, I have placed the Joker Command codes in a code I previously made that didn't have one in place. What will happen now is, the code will now activate if I press Select, and will turn off if I press L2.

When placing it in a code, make sure it is above an 8 or 3 code, otherwise it won't work.

It's all good, i think i understand alittle bit better now. In response to the "Headlights On/Off" cheat Im wanting to enable the code were i have to press select to make it work. I understand what im supposed to do to turn headlights on or off in the game, the joker command is what's confusing me. Do you think you can post this code (with the requested joker command) here?
OFF TOPIC: I apologize if i've been pestering you alot with all these questions, im just trying to add every "working" code on my codelist and i want to make sure i know how to use them. Also i hope im not weighing you down too much with all these "requested" restoration codes for the hidden cars, but frankly i find driving a [R] Prius with an 542HP RX-7 engine alittle messed up:crazy:

Sure thing, here you go:

Headlights On or Off (NTSC 1.2)

On
D01F0C9A FEFF
801D589C 8252
D01F0C9A FEFF

801D589E 35B8

Off
D01F0C9A FFFE
801D589C 5B55
D01F0C9A FFFE
801D589E 33D9

I'll post a restore code for the Mark III GT40 soon.

But since the Mark III was never a race car, i'm contemplating if to leave the body as it is, or give it a road version body.
