Not sure if that's an GT2 quality model or rather looks cartoon-ish?
The white RX-7 in the top row is a 2000 Type RZ and the blue RX-7 next to it is a 1998 Type RS.Then, I realize there is a white RX-7 and a blue RX-7 FD (Type - RZ?)
Awesome!Just some quick notice: @thefanman has released an updated version of his GT2VOLExploder tool, which has support for GT2000 VOL file. Check it out!
We probably should start digging into GT2000 now. If only @Xenn is still with us...

Are these Holdens playable in GT3?(Not really but,) Holdens in GT3:

and the "Rover" Mini Cooper

And notice no more all-caps. So the sort function should actually work now. It looks like I overwrote an important value when I changed Opel to Holden. I think that's why the Grand Valley 300 has the text misplaced like this too.
A beta version of the Volkswagen Lupo Cup Car, sporting a different paint scheme.
Interesting, I'm in possession of several copies of Gran Turismo 2000, I'll have a brief look at the extracted file directory later.
Look what I found:
Almost the same design, wonder why they changed it...

I see they were having problems with the foglights on that RX-7.
When Ferrari GT posted the dealership picture, I noticed there were 2 Pangani Zonda's next to each other (under the yellow line I drew). Strange, considering that the rest of the cars are arranged randomly (Nissan Skyline, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Vauxhall VX220). Something tells me there used to be a special car in place of one of the Zonda's. They could have put the Porsche GT3 (996) there, but you could have excused it for a Ruf. It also could have been that hidden Diablo GT, but there isn't any race cars here. Then, I realize there is a white RX-7 and a blue RX-7 FD (Type - RZ?) in the top right, so that could mean that they didn't have enough cars to put there so they had different color cars, or all of these speculations are bogus. Who knows.

You might find a different beetle cup car too.
I think the both of those Zonda's are supposed to be there. The game a C12 and a C12s. But we don't know the cars are on the cropped side which may be hidden?
Same for Subaru Impreza Rally Car. In beta version, it had number #3, but then, it changed to number #5, the S5 WRC99 version.Regarding the Lupo, I think they did this on purpose. The cars are visually and mechanically barely different from each other, plus adding all the sponsors would be difficult, so that's why PD designed the final version of the Lupo Cup Car like that.

Well, the beta Impreza could be these following possibilities:
S3 WRC97, #3 Colin McRae/Nicky Grist, from 1997 WRC Season;
S4 WRC98, Colin McRae/Nicky Grist, from 1998 WRC Season;
Or then, the S6 WRC2000 version, from Richard Burns/Robert Reid.
However, the number has been changed to number #5 in the final version. The car in the final version is the S5 WRC99 version, from Richard Burns/Robert Reid.
So, here's the comparison between the beta and the final version of the Impreza.
Well in the Japanese version, the Diablo is a prize car for winning the Italian Avantgarde event or as a random prize car for winning Mistral 78 Laps event. It was also supposed to be part of the Italian Avantgarde which leads me to an assumption that the Italian Avantgarde is supposed to only have the Zonda LM and Diablo as the only allowed cars for the event instead of the US version which is clearly very hard especially since the Zonda LM can be unlocked in a enduro and you're stuck with the Zonda C12.I've found the Diablo GT on GT3's official website.

Click on it. There it is!
Although this has no significance, it does show that the Diablo GT was meant to be something bigger than just a 'secret' car.
When I posted that it wasn't clear, but I think I was referring to it as continuation of my previous post. I just edited the brand names of those cars from Opel to Holden, to represent their Australian forms. Extra localisation if you will. (The Opel Calibra was sold as the Holden Calibra in Australia)Are these Holdens playable in GT3?
Consolation prize? I'm guessing the Kids Prize from GT2 was supposed to make a comeback as the Consolation Prize.When I posted that it wasn't clear, but I think I was referring to it as continuation of my previous post. EDIT:
I just found a file called consolation_prize.mbl in gt3.vol
Actually, now I think about it, isn't the keyring prize also known as the consolation prize?Consolation prize? I'm guessing the Kids Prize from GT2 was supposed to make a comeback as the Consolation Prize.
Is it true that GT2000 is in fact a PS1 game in disguise? Back in the day, cracker groups Paradox and BAD released a patch that allowed you to play the game on your modded PS1 by changing the game's boot code. The patch seems to have been lost to time, but the cracktro remains.
