i was kidding man.. my mom and step dad had a explorer.. i know they aren't that bad i acctually had alot of fun driving it.. my step dad was standing behind me when i was typing it i had to just bug him.. besides.. its not that its an explorer that i diss it.. its cuz my step dad has one.. and i'm just not a ford kinda guy unless its under 1970 just cuz i think those were the nicer bodies.

Oh, you were talkin about the shelby cobra? Yeah, not really a ford at all. British racing chassis. But yeah, I think the mustangs today are ugly as hell, but i think the same thing about the early firebirds and camaros. As they matured, they got a lot sexier...oh well.

lol not really in my mind.. i love all Trans-ams.. but yeah.. to me the shelby cobra is just that.. sheldy's cobra... but yeah.. still say that the 71-73 and 77 trans-ams were the best.. this is my dads 77... he has a few of nice old cars.

66 Pontiac Strato Chief
77 Pontiac Firebird Trans-am
69 Buick Skylark
74 GTO

Im not a fan of the headlights and the 'spoiler' on the tail just doesnt look all the appealing. Still overall, a nice looking car. I like firebirds/trans ams a LOT more than camaros.

Explorer = good, unless you're parking it, or have to pay $6 a gallon for petrol...

The only thing Ford about the Shelby Cobra is the engine. The stock mechanicals - chassis and body - were from AC in the UK. Carroll Shelby saw the potential.

BTW if we're talking about exploding cars, how about the BMW MINI? They recalled ALL of them last year after they discovered an earthing fault, which could lead to a spark from the filler cap to petrol pump...!

The MINI has been re-called 5 times now.

And so has 2000 BMW-X5s, because the accelerator pedal had been know to fall off!

You knowthe funny part about shelby and ford though ,he went to chevy first! But they refused to put his car ahead of the corvette. And i got that from the history of the cobra written by shelby himself:mischievous:
