... You intentionally buy cars (in real life) that are in GT4 just to brag about it (almost did :P)

... you try to draft cars on highways, so you can pass faster (guilty :dopey:)

...when you begin to wonder if the hackers would be able to bring the old Mini Cooper out of hiding.

I imagine they will do it, eventually...

Yes, I try drafting every once in a while to improve fuel economy:sly:

....when you do max speed tests in your work truck - guilty
....when you drink drive because it improves your lap times around the 'ring then tell the judge the same thing after you get pulled over on the road for DUI.
....when you start deliberately looking for lower km models of cars to get that extra .001 on the 1/4 mile - guilty
....when you tell your date that you'll both be going for a nice scenic drive in your black BMW 120i then go into the loungeroom and drive around Costa Di Amalfi for an hour and a half.

When you're planning your game plan for A-Spec'ing the 24 hour races before you even have the game.

Guilty.

Chevrolet Avalanche: 99mph at like 2500 RPM. Could probably do like 125 if we figure out how to remove the pesky limiter...

...when you're on a dirt road in your work truck and you begin eying the 'TC' button on the dashboard...
...when you press the magic button, and discover that the truck is apparently running on N1s.

Guilty... Well, sort of; I was a passenger, but I eyed the magic button well before the driver did.

When you have EVERY game released on PS3 and XBOX 360 available to you but yet the only PS2 Game you have is GT4 and you play that 90% of the time.

-When you crash your car head-on with another to see how far you can bounce.

I do this all the time in arcade mode! I even saved a replay of me on the test course in a single race driving the course the wrong direction in a Lister Storm. (I noticed that if you hit a car head on, hitting the front corner, you will send it flying sideways at about 75 km/h, not stopping until it hits the nearest barrier. The Ford GT40 Race Car got ALOT of abuse this way!)

On Topic:

You know you play GT4 too much when you get bored of GT mode and finally decide to try out arcade mode, after about 1 and a half years of playing

You know you play GT4 too much when you read through all 76 pages of this thread over the period of about a week (Guilty :dopey:)

You know your cousin plays too much GT4 when he has clocked GT4 once already and is already at around 30% game complete after only 261 game days (he is so guilty )

P.S. I just realised that IA is AI backwards, leading me to believe that the game creators want you to end up driving as "good" as the AI when you gain your IA license. If that is so, then they are a bunch of dumbasses to think that we will drive like the Artificial Idiots in any of the GT series.

When you start to do 10 laps on the 'Ring in your mind, in the middle of a math test, honing each turn to perfection.

:dopey:GUILTY!!! Except it was only 3 laps and I only messed up on 5 turns. And it was my English exam! O wait...:scared:

...when the sole reason for joining this site was to get help with GT4.(GUILTY:dopey:)

You know you're playing GT4 too much when...

...you bought a real car because it performed well on GT4
...you find your car in GT4, so you invite your friend round who has his car in GT4 too, and you race ON GT4 to find out which car is faster
...you go to your local dealership every week to see the new selection of cars
...at the end of your driving test, you ask "did I get gold?"
...you actually want the GT4 keyring on your keychain
...you have the GT4 keyring on your keychain (guilty ;) )

. . . The first words out of your mouth when someone asks what games are available for any version of Playstation is the GT series.
. . . When you refer to your PS2 as the GT4 box.
. . . When you realize that you no longer can recall what the disk art looks like on the GT4 disk because you haven’t taken the disk out of your GT box in a loooooong time.
. . . When you no longer remember how to eject the disk from your GT box.
. . . When after taking an few minutes to try to figure out how to eject the disk, you figure out that it’s to much of a hassle and start playing GT4 because it’s just easier to do.

After reading through a few posts you start asking your self who in the heck this "Sponsors" member is who is posting in every available thread, and why his posts never follow the topic at hand.

Anyone remotely in touch with the console gaming universe will know that the Gran Turismo franchise is the best-selling game on PlayStation 1 and 2. So it's really just deduction.

LOL

you know you're playing GT4 too much when..,

-you imitate the sound of your favorite car in GT4 in school, and then your classmates wonder and laugh at you.., (guilty)

-when your friend asks you "what is the best game for my PS2??" nothing comes into your mind except GT4.., you say immediately "GT4!! it has to be..," (guilty)

-when you see a car in GT4 in real life, you say "woah, it's like GT4 man.., (guilty, i saw an Integra DC5 in a highway..,)

-when you bug your friends to play GT4 at your house (also guilty)

-you spend 50% of your play time in GT4 just on one car (i always tinker with my Spoon Civic, trying to tune it to perfection..,)

It's not possible to play GT4 too much.

There's no such thing as too much GT4.

Oh wait. Maybe that's another sign . . .
