I haven't read every other post so someone might've said this.

You know when you're playing GT4 too much when...
You're sitting on the bleachers of Trial Mountain.
You're PS2 is smoking and you think it's just Apricot Hill.
You own the background music soundtrack and listen to it while buying cars.
You walk around with a GT4 hud. And you bump into walls and your vision shakes.
You think that you just ran over that Grand Canyon photographer but you did not instead you just flew over him doing a feint drift at a 45 degree angle the grand canyon's light descend upon you like the persian empire oh wait you don't know about 300 becuase y[/COLOR]ou can't see outside of the TV and you can relate to my comma-less statement because YOU'RE CRAZY but you're not reading oh yeah that's right you're playing GT4.

Haha how about this for all you drifters:
You know you play too much GT4 if you just started drifting a day or more ago.

What if someone just bought the game and the first thing they did was start drifting? Mabey they did what I did and used a Gameshark.

Then they wouldn't play "too much". You abused the GT4 game, shame on you. :grumpy:Alright, I did once or twice or thrice(Action Replay). Then did you play a lot of gt4? People who cheat don't play "too much" GT4 because it's not even a challenge. Then they test themselves by trying to really play clean. Then they give up because it's too hard. Then they skip that game. Some of those people are called professional reviewers.👍

Someone once said you're playing GT4 too much when you reach for the pause button while driving a real car. I actually did this today :ouch: But to my credit I was quite tired.

You know you're playing GT4 too much when...

...you have all the cars from a set country.

Yeah, I have every Spanish car, all 1 of them. But I do have every Australian car now. :D No doubt nd 4 holden spd did that in the first week of playing GT4. :P

Oh yeah, I then proceded to get every muscle car in the game as soon as I could
:D

I dont think I've managed that yet, I have most of the well known muscle cars (Charger, Cuda, Superbird, Chevelle).

Can I just say, why is the cheaper F6 Typhoon more powerful tuned than the GT? Stripes add BHP dammit! :dunce:

Anyway, you know you're playing GT4 too much when you can draw the full main screen (with the used lots, home, etc) on a piece of A4 paper. :D

in fact you know you're playing GT4 too much when you have the gt4 map and your driving in the city looking for the places

Yeah, the map lies. Italy is not round the corner from my home. :grumpy:

You know you're playing GT4 too much when you ask random people opinions on a colour for a car, and they not even realising you mean GT4.

If you just bought a Monaro, feel free to try my race setup at Aussie Tuners.
F6 vs GT- Forced induction can work wonders ;) The 6cyl is cheaper to build than the V8 probably. Plus stock the GT sill makes more power, but less torque.
Yep.....every muscle car in the game :sly:

I've actually had the Monaro for yonks, had it back when I first got the Pontiac GTO. I'll go try your setup. :D

I guess the stage 4 turbo is a lot more powerful than a stage 3 NA in any case. :sly:

where can i get the Superbird?? i might just be crazy enough to turn it to a touge machine.., :D

you know you're playing GT4 too much when-

...you would turn any car that you would fancy in GT4 into a touge racer..,

It could be attributed to extra power but the GTO doesn't seem to handle as well as the Monaro, even with the exact same settings, and modifed with the same parts the GTO gets more power but more understeer and slower lap times

Edit: Playing too much when you know these things :scared:

It's the same way with the RSX vs ITR.

The ITR will understeer more with a given setup than the RSX will, despite being lighter and about identical on power.

JDM Type R Integra and export RSX have a multitude of structural and mechanical differences. They are completely different cars on almost any basis.

The Manaro and GT0 have different engines and suspensions too.

I remember some magazine doing a review on the car, and they basically summed it up as "They took a good car, and made it worse with a crappier engine and softer suspension."

Ahhh, suspension yes. Engine, No. Both used the LS1 from it's inception and in 2005 they became identical as the Monaro gained the nostrils, the fuel tank and the extra mods that the GTO originally got in it's inception except the stiffer suspension we receive for our roads. This stayed until the end of the VZ model (2006-2007) when they both received the LS2 6.0L motor with 297Kw (400hp). This same motor is now powering the new VE Commodore/Pontiac G8 with 307Kw (415hp). ;)

Someone should've fired that reporter then. Go check Top Gear or 5th gear searching for this car and see what some people have REALLY said about our Monaro (look for Vauxhall VXR or VXR8). Nothing but rave reviews. 👍

...when you can tune the 64 GTO or the cuda 440 into a world beater!
(i have trouble with even the Cuda. they didn't copy something right on the US version)

I'm not sure if you will have the same result, but one of my friends told me to take a drift setup and put racing tires on it, and viola, instant touge machine.

nah, i don't fancy slicks anymore, just sports tires.., 👍

...when one day you decide to make a GT profile consisting of 100% completion, a 100% winning ratio, 100,000 A-spec points and no B-spec points. I'm halfway there...
