You know that you are addicted to the GT series and this site in general . . .

. . .when during the work day, you sneak away to a confrence room to read and post replys on the latest posts here at GT Planet from your internet ready cell phone.

(Sooooo guilty on this one! That's what I'm doing right now!)

Which brings to mind, this site needs a mobil version for junkies like me. Not that I'm the only one. I know that there are others out there who would appreciate it too.

when you're using just every single inch on the asphalt to make the next turn just as straigh as you can!

or it's probably been said whe you know every single section of the Green Hell... Hatzenbach, Hocheichen, Quidelbacher Höhe, Flugplatz ....

i can still go if someone doesnt know them!!!

(probably been said, but not looking at all billion pages lol)

you know you've been playing GT4 wayyy to much, when you expect to go to the dealer ask them for a stage 4 NA tune expect it done in less that 5 minutes, while at the same time tuning your transmission for better acceleration yet over all worse top speed but you just need to pass those folks on the expressway.

You also know you have been playing to much when you use the in game car dealers to look for a car irl by in game price, not realizing that in game and irl prices could vary.

You have been playing GT4 wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much when you walk around your house like its El Capitan and the dog, cat, and furnature are other racers still managing to keep the exact layout of the track as you run.

You have been playing GT4 wayyyy to much when you can look at any car on the road and tell if it has the option for either NA or Turbo, and or if it is capable of offroading AND how much the tires cost to go snow or dirt racing.

anddddd you know youve been playing to much when someone tells you _______ is the fastest car and you beg to differ because you got 1000+ horsepower out of your boxy Escudo.

when you can tell what car it is from bumper view, just by listening the sound and seeing how high it revs and handles.. guilty. :embarrassed:

When you drift you grocery shopping cart.LOL
When you skip every class to stay in the automotive tech class for carrer t=day just to hear the 1180 hp camaro roar up every 2 hrs.YEA TODAY

Lolz haha i do that at the supermarket haha so much better than just walking around lolz gotta love drifting the trolley

you know your playing gt4 too much when everyone asks you if you wanna go to a party and get really drunk but you say u wanna drift on gt4 instead

haha when your GF breaks up with you because you dont know when her birthday was but are able to recall your fastest lap for every track

lol true story

I don't know if someone already said this, but I'm revising the shopping cart drift.

You know you've been playing too much GT when you're still trying to fix the snapback oversteer when you drift a shopping cart.

I'm actually not guilty of this... I'm still trying to eliminate the nasty understeer that sent me into some cans. :ouch:

-You've played GT4 too much when you've managed to come up with 88 pages of witty phrases to describe ways you know you've played GT4 too much.

You've played GT4 too much when...

- you try to win an endurance race with a Station Wagon (not guilty)
- you DO win an endurance race with a Station Wagon (not guilty)
- you see a 700 car list and say what cars you have by memory ("got it, got it, repeated, sold, got it, got it...")
- you think that the only way to REALLY win a race is by doing it with 200 A-Spec points. ("150 A-Spec points? That's for babies...")
- you have enough, legal credits to buy all of the showroom cars AGAIN just to see what's the limit of the garage.
- you wish you could put a bodykit on that 900hp Skyline so it looks LIKE it goes.
- you MANAGE to rewrite the code of the game and put a bodykit on that 900hp Skyline so it looks LIKE it goes.

I like them, especially the A-spec one, and the last two :).

You know you've played GT4 too much when...

You can drive completely backwards around the 'ring under 10 minutes. Very guilty...

..... you start that night at 8pm and the next thing you know, It's 7am in the morning and you have to get ready for work.
(not quite quilty of this myself but have come very close).

You know you play GT4 too much when...

... You can make the 49' VW beetle reach 200 with no mods
... You get real pissed off and think somethings horribly wrong because your wind shield in you car has no gauges.
... You spend thousand of dollars on an AK-47 just incase someone wants to delete your game data.
... When you can lift an 100 lb dumbbell with your thumbs
... When think your cousin sucks at life because he cant race around the s-ring in adlease 50 secs.
... When you can beat mission 34 with your feet
... When you can reach 450 mphs with no nitro.

It's refreshing this thread is still alive, and that there actually are still those who "play too much GT4".

Though it's probably been posted in here already, here goes:

You know you're playing GT4 too much when you post in this thread.

Guilty.

.... some-one tells you, your playing to much GT4

.... When you dream about winning that 200 pointer 4 hour roadster race.

.... When ever you are looking through the car classifieds you push down on the paper to see the next car in line.

..when your stock Lotus Elan runs neck to neck with S2000

...when above mentioned Elan runs neck to neck with Shelby Cobra when modded

Not that high. They aren't as expensive as you think. You could probably find a black market one for under $50. Not that I would now or are endorsing. :scared::nervous:

Well what I mean is a lot of money. How do YOU know how much AK-47s cost? They LOOK expensive. You bought one didnt ya? Yeah! Dont what that Formula One endurance race memory to get deleted. 'It was way too hard to beat the first time, not gonna do it again!' lol.
