Guilty! My friend was thinking about a Civic, or Corolla. And sticking on a massive exhaust :guilty: I told him to take his head outta the gutter stop watching F&F

And by how much was the headstart? :sly:

2 hours ;)

Last week i tried it again. Used the Takata Nsx at the 24 hour ring Enduro. Lost by one lap!

You know you're playing GT4 too much when...

at school, when you get asked a question by the Teacher, you answer by saying GT4.

When somebody asks why your desktop background is of a Dodge Charger 440 R/T and you provide a 20 minute response on the racing and hard work it took to be able to buy the car. Describing failures at Suzuka, and triumphs at the technical Tsukuba Circuit. Or when talking about Japan in history class you veer off the path by talking about the history of the Skyline, or how the Supra evolved, knowing the exact names of the engines, the MA70 and the JZA70, or when you slow your walking pace for 5 seconds after you bump into someone. That's when you know you've played too much GT4.

you try to calculate your g-forces when you walk around corners.

HA ha, guilty to the first part! :guilty: With me, it was a pic on my cell phone rather than a desktop background, but hte rest of the story is similar.

Yes you are correct, and SVX, I tried to figure out the g force excerted on my body when I would turn to walk down a hallway last week, my history and business teachers said I had too much time on my hands! You also know you've played too much GT4 when you above and beyond your teacher's expectations and embed a GT4 gameplay video into your basic website project using Microsoft Frontpage then try to explain how it relates to the fictional video game e-business I was creating.

I'm sorry but I had another moment. My dad was talking about one day wanting to purchase a Pontiac Vibe. I advised him not to buy one due to my experiences with the car in the game. I tried to compare the understeer at the Nurburgring to the icy and snowy conditions here, and asked him if he would want a vehicle like that. Now if I can persuade him to buy a 300ZX due to my triumphs with it... Using gameplay events to persuade your parents to buy or not to buy a car, that's when you know you play GT4 too much.

You know you're playing too much GT2 when you're playing it so much that you don't realise that you're in the wrong thread :P

When you never buy a used car with more than 6.2 miles on it unless it's black.

You go there every 694 days to find a black car.

Also, I've drifted those big carts at Ikea, the ones where all four wheels steer. Those are fun.

..when you rapidly trail brake into corners with real cars. Or, when you do heel to toe braking often :D

I am guilty of this.

It's easier when it's not full of food.

When it's full of food then you have to be more precise with your timing, get it pointed in the right direction and give 'er the wick.

I find its much easier if you move the weight towards the front. Less weight over the rear wheels means the tires have less traction. Makes it much easier.

I find that the balance of an unladen shopping cart is actually pretty good, the problem with the weight is that even if you put it right at the front it still makes it harder to turn. But I should try putting 50lbs of pop right over the front wheels....

(This is ridiculous.)

It also depends on whether its a 2-wheel or 4-wheel steer trolley. The 4-wheel steer trolleys are a pain to setup. Too much weight over the front wheels and the rear becomes more unstable than a Yellowbird on economy tires. :sly:

(Its my job.)

Ah.
With the 2-wheel steer ones it's more like a car as in you can slide it around corners but the rear tires are straight so they will actually grip and turn. With the 4-wheel steer ones as soon as you try to go fast the tires just go with the flow and you end up going into the outside yogurt isle. (If that makes any sense.)

I flipped a shopping trolley and got knocked out not long after I played GT2 for the first time :)

...when you start wondering why your real car has an interior and seats.

you know you've played gt4 to much...
...when you pretend your ps2 controler is a steering wheel
