-> And add a little Prodrive will result to this:

:sly:

I had no idea that the P2 was based off that at all. Wow!

Thanks to @Ken Koios, I learnt about this:

Ferrari_512_S_Modulo_1970_480_0001.jpg

The Ferrari 512S Modulo.

The Ferrari 512S Modulo is a concept car designed by Paolo Martin of the Italian carozzeria Pininfarina, unveiled at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show.

In 1968 Ferrari built 612 Can Am chassis 0864 which after testing was given to Pininfarina with the new chassis n. 512S n. 27 to build a show car.

Modulo has an extremely low body with a canopy-style roof that slides forward to permit entry to the cabin. All four wheels are partly covered. Another special feature of the design are twenty-four holes in the engine cover that reveal the Ferrari V12 engine which develops 550hp, a top speed of 220mph and 0-60 in 3.1 seconds.

In 2014 Pininfarina sold Modulo to James Glickenhaus who is restoring it to full operating condition.

More here.

Oh wow I didn't know it was being restored, also didn't know it potentially had that kind of performace. In 1970.

I have many of these "unheard of" cars in my own list, but here's one I only found about last year:

Remember the Daihatsu Copen? Well, turns out Daihatsu are making a new one! This one is called the Daihatsu Copen Robe (not kidding about the name); and it seems that the Copen has gone from being a cute teddy bear to an edgy mini-sports car. Doesn't make me like it any less though, the old Copen was also an unknown car to me until I first saw it in Gran Turismo (IIRC).

-> Just saw this on Men and Motors video of the Volvo V70 R:

^ I'm stumped, can anyone know what this car is? Someone commented on YT that this is a GT40, and I know that was a lie.

^ Many thanks guys! I was vague at first that it was a Maserati since I saw a faint hint of the Italian fork on its grille.

I can't believe you didn't know about the Modulo, one of the most famous "Ferrari" concept cars for sure. altough I didn't know it had been sold and such. Cool.

Eh, bite me. :P I've had a model of it for years, just never aqctually thought it was a real car!

I love those air intakes.

They look like they were taken from a 1970's F1 car. Never though I'd see those type of intakes on a Montecarlo, but there you go. They look really cool. And so does the car, it's like half of a Gr. 5 Lancia.
