Awesome thread. :)

Here are the interiors of both my Celicas ('00 & '89). It's a shame the interior of my 7th gen is made up of one giant slab of plastic. I prefer the soft, cosiness of the 4th generation!

The interior has been cleaned up a bit since I took those pictures. Looks good (many find that colour tasteless but I like it) and does it`s job well. Except those flight instruments on the right are a little hard to read when driving, but they`re cool. And the 85 MPH speedometre is a joke :grumpy: even though I`ve never exceeded 80 km\h (~50 MPH)

I've always liked the 7th gen interior. Massive step up over previous Celicas design wise. Great driving position too.

Kickass interior, Jet. 👍

I love the overall appearance and design, but I think the material used is a bit of a step back. It's all rock-solid plastic... there's nothing soft-touch, except from the leather steering wheel and arm rests. It also means that everything can get scratched real easily.

But yeah, apart from that, everything has been greatly improved from the previous generations.

Was originally an automatic car...swapped it to a 5 speed with hopes of making it look factory. I think it works quite well, and draws a good bit of attention since people don't expect a manual in a Tbird.

1966 Chevelle (dirty in this pic :( )

Yeah things haven't been going as planned...the next couple of months should be chock full of updates though (starting this weekend). Been driving the Chevelle around quite a bit this summer though, which has been a blast.

Porno red interior's ftw. You'd be surprised how much I've grown to love this interior! Took this photo when I first got the car, since then I've armor all'd the thing and cleaned up the interior some. Near showroom inside imo!

 those red interiors are way bright...and here I thought I had some really red interior(well say for the 7 if you can even call it that..)

It has an elegant gauge cluster (despite the lack of boost gauge... :irked:) and for the most part is way more mature than most other mazda interiors I've seen. plenty of room for driver and passengers. My right leg isn't cramped like in my last car (mazda3). the seats, however, are flat and lack good bolstering. the leather is really tight on mine and I think sortof collapsed (fat people maybe drove this car before me?) but the adjustable lumbar support and more right leg room makes this car way more comfortable on long trips than my 3 was.

for reference, here's my last car. I do miss the blue glow, but the interior is a lot younger.

Excuse the messiness, I haven't had a chance to vacuum it out yet.

Thanks, the bright red interior sorta reminds me of Speed Racer's Mach 5!! Ahh, the best animated tv show I could watch as a child....The 1967 series not the crappy 90's series...

Youp, plenty of leg and head room. Altho the seats are not the most comfortable seats around.

Persona%203.jpg

Good thing: Very comfortable, with a lot of legroom in front and even in the rear. Nice A/C too...

Bad thing: Massive amount of plastics! No leather seat. Lacks compartment storage and the door panel seems a bit too high somehow. Pretty difficult to raise my hand out of the window of the car...

^^^
Like how much compartment storage are we talking here? Can yoou not even fit a golf bag or something?

No not that problem... The boot is bigger than what I exected. The storage compartment I meant was for example, the glove box is toooo small. It can fit the manual book, a cloth and the GPS system. That's it...

The centre console can only fit a couple of small things because it's too narrow. The small compartment on the door panel is owkey, though I won't really put anything there except for a shopping recycle bag. The small compartment near the aircond controls are small, smaller than my phone!

Pretty much those are the only storage compartments in this car.

AAHHOOoooo.

The Buick Is worse, All I have is the center arm rest and the glove box,(which is very tiny) though come to think of it I also have little storage "bags" attached to the back of the seats but no cup holders....

Owh LOL thanks for reminding me, that small pocket at the back of my seats can only fit 3 F1 Racing Magazine because of its tightness and smallness

Lucky I have 4 cup holders :D

I have ZERO in all my cars unless you can count the "cup placement" feature in the rx7
