CPU Clocks do fluctuate slightly every now and then but 2.39 is pretty much 2.4 so why care?

Well, a 866 with 256mb of Ram running a 166mhz bus with jack crap video and sound card and a network card that just works. Nothing fancy. . .
under the other hood currently is a stock 305 TPI, but the 454 is sitting next to the car and I am debating installing it currently with my run of luck lately. :D

Nope. And I dont really care, like I said, Im very happy with what I have. :D I heard Celeron is ALOT worse. If it says 2.8 GHz, then it will run at about 2.5 GHz. And if its 2.4 GHz, it will run at 2.1 GHz and so on. :irked:

No, Celerons do run at the clock speed they are sold as. They have lower FSB speeds and less L2 cache, so they do run slower, but not because of their clock speed.

btw, tualatins had a 100mhz FSB versus the tualatin p3s 133mhz. The celeron had 256k cache. Tualatins werent as ****ty as most celerons, and you were boosting the FSB up to 133mhz anyway because the chips could take it.

P3 @ 866mhz
192mb ram
60 gig & 10 gig both maxtor
xp pro
ati 9200 radeon 128mb
btc burner 52x24x52
ethernet card

-Intel Celeron running at an amazingly fast 1.2 Ghz
-384 megs of SDRAM
-40 & 20 gig HD
-32 meg Nvidia GeForce 2 MX
-windows XP home
-regular dell 17" monitor
-labtec subwoofer (PC connected to stereo right now though)

- ... and all the other normal stuff (home network, cable connection, floppy, CD RW, joystick, ...)

Nothing fancy but I like it. I actually won this PC with a contest held by the company my dad works for, which was almost 2 years ago.

Dated garbage for me. Most of my money has been going to my S14 so there was little cash to upgrade this year, and when I finally did I ended up upgrading my Parents instead =(

My system:
Mobo: Epox 8KHA+ running a 171 FSB

Ram: 1GB of Corsiar XMS3200 running 2-2-2

CPU: Athlon XP1800+@1710MHZ (garbage core, it will run for about a half hr stable if I go higher, then it locks)

HSF: N/A Watercooled. BlackIce Radiatior, Swiftech Waterblock, 1/2 in tubing.

Display Adapter: Matrox Parhelia 512 (I dont game much anymore, my Quake days are over as everyone is off being lamers in Halo land. When John Carmack creates another game where the models handle as well as they did in Q2 and Q3, and guns are as acurate as to where I point them, then I may once again pick up my Boomslang and go hunting.)

Case: Yeong Yang cube case

HDD: 2 WD800JB's running RAID 0

CD: Random burner

DVD: Random DVD

Sound: Creative Labs Live Plat

Monitor: Dual Sony 17 in CRT

Cooling: 3 Delta 80mm 80CFM's. 1 Delta 92mm 100CFM. 1 Sunon 120mm on my Radiator, forgot the CFM for that.

PSU: Enermax 650W
