I'm pretty much convinced there will be no DLC. Since when does a company announce a Platinum version before DLC?

I guess PD would be first one (hopefully).
If a company release DLC directly after going on sale with their game, than that is just customer robbery.
You see, they make a game, than they edit some content away and launch it. 2 weeks later they put DLC online that you can buy. But in real life it´s no DLC, it´s just the things they thrown away before launching the game. The only thing they want to have is our money.
Best example is EA Sports. You buy Tiger Woods PGA Tour for your PS3 and afterwords you can buy extra courses for 8 $. But in fact those courses, that you have to buy, you can find on a regular disc of Tiger Woods for Wii unlocked a playable from beginning. That in my point of view is betrayal.

PD gave us much more content through the updates than the game had at the beginning when it was launched (Seasonal Events, Helmets, Suits, OCD, etc...), and all for free. They could have charged us for helmets and suits and events (and most of us would have payed it), but they didn´t. And that is really awesome. From that point of view we should be thankful, not having to pay for every slight improvement.

But on the other hand i would like to have DLC at some point.
As already written in post #170 i would really like a proper TopGear section.

Other than that what i really would like as DLC:

Old GT Courses (Seattle etc.)
New real world courses, especially SPA.
For sure the M3 E30 SportEvo + the DTM version (would be great to drive it against the Merc 190E 2.5 16V on the Nordschleife).

Sorry for the grammar, i´ve given the best i can.

Having F1 teams seems to be the most feasable type of DLC, since the F1 car is the same model throughout the sport, seperate liveries would be the only change:idea:

They've done the same with NASCAR, only they included multiple liveries per manufacturer, and that they all came on the disc.👍

I agree but in reality most cars on this season must abide by the same rules and regulations but are all different in the way they are tuned etc.

Just to have more manufacturers from the f1 series would mean that the x1 and ferrari f1 cars have more competition and gives more variety to races IMO

a simple pause, slow motion, rewind, fast forward would be nice for replays as well.

:tup:definately!

Something close to Race Driver:Grid's replay interface would be great!
then you can see who woon that supposedly equal finish:idea:

I am aware that all of the F1 cars are not Exactly the same, but they do retain a general shape throughout the entire grid.

Here's Red Bull's F1 car:

and here's Ferrari's F150:

Similar, to say the least.

If you Do want 2011's F1 Grid, you would need to accept one Generic model for a F1 car, as modeling all of the team's minute differences between cars would take a very long time.

If PD was smart i think they should look at liveries for DLC. (sorry if been covered before)

People could put a request to them to make a livery, and we buy from them for say $5 per livery which we could apply to any car. In my mind it makes sense where there is one car (such as the V8 Falcon) because then people can race the same car but fill a grid with diff liveries. Add to that the race mod variations, all of a sudden you have no limit on the number of car variations.

Also all liveries could be available to everyone, not just the person requesting it. Easy money for PD i would have thought.

makes sense to me......!

Wish list for cars
Maserati MC12 - It's an Enzo really
1967 Shelby GT500 - Eleanor:bowdown:
Ford Focus RS500
Mugen Civic Type R - UK version
Mazda 3 MPS
Ferrari 575 Maranello
BMW M3 DTM - Google it, shown to the public yesterday:eek:
BMW M3 E30 - We have the Merc 2.5 16v as a rival to it

There are more but the above are needed now

Wish list for tracks
Oulton Park - I'm sorry but no arguments please, this is the best circuit in the UK.
Bathurst Mt Panorama - Why has this been omitted for so long?

Making liveries cost real money would shoot themselves in the foot IMHO.

Rival games offer the user the opportunity to make unique works for free.

Also I don't think it would be possible to make a generic livery, fit to all cars.
