Yes, and if you look at my pics my shifter is on the left hand side.....just like a UK, JPN or Aussie car.

When you said the "right side" I assumed you meant "correct" side and not actually the right hand side.

  • Recaro seat
  • Samsung 245B 24" x3
  • Three PS3's 60gb PAL version
  • G25
  • 7.1 surround sound system. T9700 from creative.
The multi monitor setup doesn't work with GT5p. It's for GT4.

Yes, you need 3 PS3's....one fore each screen to display. If you want to know how it works and why you need 3 PS3's look at the first few pages of this thread. Its been answered at least 3 times already.

Oh yea! What playseat is that? All the ones iv seen have a bar in the middle and they out me off because I think it would get in the way when trying to do heel & toe.

I would build my own, but im lazy and not that great with woodwork/metalwork. My expertise is in electronics.

well i did build the grey "podium"(dont know what else to name it)myself,i needed something to mount the seat and steering device on,and something so my wooden floor wouldn"t get damaged!!
its a playseat classic-lemans-,with alcantara cover over the seat(nice....!!)
there is no bar in the middle with this one ,so no problems with that...

seat is really great,my girlfriend uses it sometimes to watch tv in,super comfy and its also possible to fold away the top half of the seat,easyer for storage!!

No, it's perfect for driving, but my back reminds me about it (after some loong sessions.. lol). Kind of like sitting in a kart. I'm 182cm short, you need more measurements?

The Evo II will be equipped with a real seat from a real car (hoping for a certain one), but I still try to keep it as low as possible (kind of like Hyperuk's setup), as it feels the best for me.
 
spyrrari - Im looking at getting the playseat (£155 off ebay) what are they like? Easy to pack away? Well made? Is it stable? etc.

All the info you can give me will be much appericated!

depends on wich one you are buying Jack...
mine is the classic,and its not really stable,so i modded it(as you can see from my pictures and read my post)
they are pretty easy to pack away,dismantle....no problems there...
the quality is excellent,good materials and solid.
before this i had my wheel stuck to a desk with a "normal" chair behind it,as many others have,but after buying the playseat with the wheel stuck to it, i never wish for anything else...its just perfectly comfy and rigid,even after hours and hours of playtime!!...:)

Not sure if its the same as yours. Also alot of money and dont know if to risk it as at the minute Im fast with my controllers. I have a g25 but as i dont practice much Im just as quick with my controller (Not to sound bigheaded but Im a quick controller racer).

Do you think buying it is worth it for your setup?

yes its exactly the same one as mine,and yes it is deffenately worth it mate...
eventhough you seem to be good with your controller,this will put you in a next dimension while playing the game,especially with your g25 and all....trust me:sly:

It's not really heavy.
If you change gear to fast you'l get it over yourself.:ouch:
and it's pretty hard to drift with it.
