The rehab center I'm at is pathetic. Look at this crap...

My upload speed is higher than my dowload speed. It's a good thing I get to go home tomorrow.

That was my connection last night. I'll be ringing some numbers to my ISP to fix it. Took me an entire hour to watch a 16 minute video in 480p.

Pretty good results. I'm not too internet-intensive other than my sis so I don't have problems with the speeds.

My university internet is superfast. I think they said they got something like a 40Gbps internet connection. We got newer computers (Specs are i7 2600 and GTX 460, full hd screen) this year and upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise instead of XP. Will give it a run tomorrow and see what I get, maybe quick enough to the be the fastest on here. Last time I checked was a year back and then the actual speedtest.net servers where holding back the speed it seemed. I also once uploaded like a HD video to YouTube, was at least over 100mb, maybe something like 300mb. It was a strange experience as once I pressed upload button, it loaded the screen saying it is finished uploading like I was just browsing a normal web page. I wish I had that speed at home ;). The internet is shared between probably thousands of computers too which makes it even more impressive.

So this is not too bad, is it?

It is quite good, better than average as far as ping times go. My internet at home is similar to that. However I do not have any packet loss on that test. Maybe a rerun of the test or rebooting the router will fix that for you.

I'm only supposed to get 3Mb/s and I get this :D :D

Ran another one a few minutes later (my internet seems to fluctuate a lot...)

And another, 5 mins later:

As my upload goes down, my download goes up...and my ping is 🤬

I'm at my Uncle's house currently in North River, NY and this is my speed with wireless.

So people in Australia, rejoice because even in the US of A people are stuck with slow speeds. Frontier is my Uncle's "ok" service he can use that gives him 3Mb/s download. Dude to the mountainous area he can't get a better connection and all of the other options are slower than this.

These were taken within a few seconds of one another.

Can never seem to get anywhere near the same download speed but the upload is always around the same figure.

But all these go out the window when you connect to the Sony / PSN / GT5 server nothing is ever stable.

I would sooner pay £10.00 a year for a nice un-frustrating stable connection, when racing online in private lobby or open lobby.

Phillip.
