Your most hated car in GT6

My most hated car in GT6? The 🤬 karts!!! They accelerate like a VW Rabbit diesel with about as much top speed as one and they handle like they're perpetually on black ice and just plain frustrating to drive!:banghead:

Brake in a straight line, smoothly, turn smoothly, and accelerate sooner. đź‘Ť

For me, the most hated car is a car I basically don't get to use, but which probably took hours to model: the Lunar Rover thing.

Why would you give us a car that we can't use?

If we exclude that, then I'd have to say the X2014 - not the Jr. - because it's also not driveable. Do you see a pattern?

BTW, I love the Veyron, but that's probably because I know how to handle it :embarrassed:
I know how to handle it too but I hate it, because 1: It is ugly, 2 it is to heavy, 3 it does not corner well.

I think it is funny to race against on most tracks though, here is the 1,000 HP super fast super expensive beast of a car getting smoked by a run of the mill road car. I think the only race I have saw it beat the other AI cars is on SSX

GT-R's are also one of my most hated cars. As well as all the other 'auto win' cars that everyone uses.
A typical 550pp room consists of: LFA, GTR, GTR, LFA, GTR, LFA, LFA, LFA, LFA.
A typical 500pp room: NSX-R, NSX-R, M3 CSL, NSX-R, NSX-R, NSX-R, M3 CSL.

Most of the time these cars are around 10 seconds ahead after a 5 lap race. I just don't understand how that is fun. Woopty doo, you just smoked everyone in an over rated car that is obviously broken, and apparently it's the only car you have because you keep racing it over and over and over and over again with the same results. . . . .
No one is impressed.

Those are the fastest cars in GT5 but there are a couple of new champs for GT6 in those brackets... we'll all find out soon enough.

I almost exclusively run 550pp at the Nordschleife and there are some cars in GT6 that outperform those. On top of them all is the Lambo Miura which is in a class of its own, Shelby Series One would come second and right off the top of my head I can think of the Ferrari GTO, Shelby Cobra, Lambo Countach, Pagani Zonda C12 and maybe C8 Laviolette (haven't touched this one in a while) being at least as fast as the NSX, which is the fastest of the ones you mentioned at 550pp. And right now I'm fiddling with the Oullim Spirra and after some pretty extreme settings to get rid of the insane stock oversteer, it's coming out to be a MEAN machine, might have to add it to that list :D

Of course, this could be different for other tracks, but given the varied nature of the Nordschleife I think it's safe to say that whatever is fast there is going to be fast in almost every track (with the exception of Monaco and other tight and low speed tracks, obviously don't take a Cobra there xd)

For now it's the Merc SL55(the '02 one). That thing just does NOT wanna behave no matter how I tune it :/ It was a born rebel, I respect that, it looks really cool and it sounds great, but if I'm gonna race I'll just go with the SLS in terms of fast Mercs. I haven't even bothered with the Stratos yet, I liked it a lot in 5 but we'll have to wait and see on that one =P

But yeah that Merc's a bad boy.

Supra '97 in real life can out put around 1100 BHP when tuned, The Underground Racing Gallardo has around 1400 BHP i don't see them cranking those horses in GT6 its obvious the bias toward Nissan cars
Don't you underestimate a 2JZ engine's potential! Those things can crank out 2,000 horsepower easily when tuned! Supras rock. I'm a Toyota man though so I guess I'm biased towards them, but there's no denying that Skylines are serious tuner cars as well and they're just as potent as a Supra =P The only real difference to me is that the Supra isn't a premium yet like it deserves to be.

Can't really say that I hate any car in GT6. I think the term I'd like to use instead would be 'challenging' lol.
I mean yeah, some cars are total lemons when it comes to handling, but it's still a challenge for me.:)
Of course, not all cars are made equal therefore I try to extract the most I can out of each and every one. This way, I get to enjoy more of the cars and prolong the longevity of the game. :)
That's a win win:tup:.

well, the worst handling car (within reason) has gotta be the RUF 86' yellow bird. impossible to get out of a slide with it, i had to tune it for under steer to make it somewhat drivable. despite loving classic RR porches, they are not easy to drive.

@Welsh-Fury, dont forget the marcos mini, that is a supercar destroyer.

I would say the Stratos, but the whole point of the car is being undrivable. It's always been very stubborn since GT2.

The only car I hate so far is the Audi R8 LMS. Maybe it's me, but I just can't handle that car no matter what I do.

The Huayra is also a bit more of a handful than I would've expected. the Zondas are a handful, but at least if you learn to keep them under control, they are fine. the Huayra won't cooperate at all. And it sounds awful in the game.

Really not a fan of the Cizeta V16T

Ouch! One of my favorite cars there :P

sorry old car lovas but i hate the miura so freaking much, ugly and drives like a piece of garbage
Personally, I think the Lamborghini Miura is one of the most beautifully crafted/designed car in motoring history period(the other IMO is the Ferrari 250 GTO).I mean it ain't the best handling of cars, but to call such a car "ugly" is way too harsh a word and undeservedly so.

Out of the cars I've driven, I've to admit I hate the 15th Anniversary Viper.

After modding it to 1031hp, it's still a handful around Spa, which should suit a fast car in my opinion.

This car hates turning (but can be dealt with after making changes) but it it sucks the most is in in braking. The moment I brake, the car just wants to fish-tail.

Felt like throwing my DS3 whenever this car fish-tailed enough to cost me a legal lap around Spa.

1 good thing about this thread will be that people can read through most of the posts & avoid all the cars that are being hated. If not avoid, then atleast treat them with caution when driving.

This thread can be very useful.đź’ˇ

If you're using the DS3, try giving the brake button a few quick taps before braking into the apex therefore avoiding the car fish tailing ? Or, try decreasing the rear brakes by a point or two. Experiment, and see what works for which car as they have different personalities.

I don't really hate it, but the GT Academy R35 you win from the Super license runs ~10% slower lap times than cars with similar PP. Its understeer forces you to slow to the speed of smell for any turn. I haven't tried tuning it though.

Second mention has to be the 07 Mustang GT. Gear ratios seem lifted from the automatic and it doesn't turn worth a damn. Before the trolls start rolling about American Cars can't handle nonsense, I used to race one in BMW CCA Autocross events and I can tell you that it drives FAR BETTER than that, and once I built the suspension for road racing the thing was simply amazing.... Not so in GT4+.

That's because that Mustang IS automatic. Go to photo mode and look at the shifter.

As much as I want to give the Ferrari FXX a chance, the braking is horrible.

I don't brake on continuously. I brake - release & brake again so that the car doesn't get unstable but the Viper is still wanting to dance around.

What would be the most ideal brake settings for this car so that my hatred for this car gets a little less?

So far, the Audi Sport Quattro S1, because this is one of the most awesome sounding, amazing vehicles in real life, that sounds and drives like complete rubbish in GT6. They did an amazing job modeling the visual aspects of the car, such a shame about the rest of it. For the moment, it's still in my garage. I hold on to the faint hope that I may find some genius set-up that makes it drive better, and that our promised miracle sound update is just around the corner. :(

When you say you brake, release and brake again..how long do you hold the brake button down for?
I'm talkin bout like 1 second quick taps,3 or 4 times and then brake before the apex, let go of brake, steer car around and accelerate once the car is straightened.
Well,I don't think there is an "ideal" setting for each person as we're all different and drive the cars differently.
Like I said before, experiment with it and see what works for "you".
Say for eg; set the FR-5 and RR-4..

I don't hate any car. (except maybe those pesky Karts :boggled: )

I quite dislike anything made by Toyota. A few Lambos as well.
