have you thought about , that the people driving at the zero cup , want to drive these "slow" cars .
don't get me wrong , I love driving race cars but I never had such great and close races like I have in these "slower" series I'm driving .
just to mention the vcrc , mixer makeshift shuffle , or the ferrari festival.
oh ,and about the fuel !
Its together with the tire wear and in 20minute races ,tire management makes the difference sometimes . I think some of us were just a bit unlucky today , like me ,running out of "electricity" in race 1 and 3
had great fun though 👍 and looking forward to next week
bed time now :scared:

edit: I just re-read your post and I think I got something wrong .
I would love to pit in every race ,so I'm with you about this 👍

If people want to use the slower cars all the time to show off there Avatar and there holy grail setup and the fact they can beat those with a ps3 pad then thats fair enough, try doing it week in week out in faster cars, im not saying using faster cars all the time, but all the time in slower cars were you have 8 or 9 people showing up were the same 6 drivers drive off into the dust isnt good week in week out.

For one moment im not saying dont use steering wheels, or use slower cars, im saying mix it up with faster cars from time to time, Fk me GT6 does have faster cars doesnt it?....As for the steering wheel i actually praise you for using it, i just wish i had that set up.

I noticed 2 weeks ago a new person won, i said to myself when playing i hope the ones who get beat turn up the next week, so what happens, the people in behind who where really fast didnt turn up last week..

I know im in the slower bracket, i enjoy my racing....i dont enjoy rule changing during races because people dont want to pit......i also dont enjoy being slammed at the start tonight 20+ times in the line up.

Thanks once again for setting it up Warrius....maybe i need more brain fluid :)

For the record, i think KKL is the best driver on here having been on here week in week out, its nothing personal, he also beeps when he laps me :)

God i hope MOTD is good :ill:

There's no tuning allowed, so there's no setup to show off...

OK, I'll add quicker cars if you think it's better. Do you mean race cars as well? Because I'm not planning on using race cars. The ZC is about stock cars. If you have suggestions, please let me know (even if it's race cars ;)).

As for changing rules, I got the message. But it was my decision only, no one asked for it.

Its your set up Warrius, i respect that, seems nobody mentioned the pitting and if it should be allowed say in an electric car or do we lower the laps so those with steering wheels dont need to use the pits.

You know what, do what what you want, you know my ideas make sense, your set up, your rules.

add quicker cars....the likes of the KK wont bother playing in case it damages his steering.

Il just turn up and shut up on the future.

I don't know if this is about me ( KK )
but , I think a broken steering is easier to control with a wheel , than with ds3.
I've got no problem with a damaged steering ,because I usually don't have one .
I don't know what your problem is , I think you're just offending me a bit because I was the first reply to your post , we've never had an incident on track or something like that .
just let us all calm down a bit and enjoy the racing

Pitting has never been disallowed*, it just never came up before because the format of the races means the tire wear is never a problem. I strongly believe that people who were pitting were losing an awful lot of time and I should have won the race easily if I hadn't been driving like a tool (only because it seems I was the only one to actually keep an eye on fuel consumption :)).

And I'm still not sure why driving a slower car gives an (unfair?) advantage to the steering wheel users.
Oh, by the way...

@Pichon617 See you next week. :)

Pit stops are not compulsory, but you will be required to pit if causing an accident becomes unavoidable due to extreme tire wear. - Rule Book

See you all Monday, sorry for the rant, just letting off steam.

Bad night this end.

Im just saying if theyre all going to drive off those that are the good drivers whatever the type of fast car (THE TOP 6), why not say every 5 or 6 weeks use a fast car instead of these slow ones, slow cars when your at the back getting lapped is soul destroying to be honest

If you want to keep using the slow cars all the time, then do as you must.

You can predict the results before the event to be honest.

anyway...whatever.

Il be there next week. :)

As long as you don't give up, it's good. Hopefully @John Wells and @Kronos1979 will make a come back to give you a good race, the same way I usually end up with @daddyo845, :( @cobrius, @Naptown25rs and @perdy450 .

I'm at a point where I'm wondering if I should have a break and wait for the custom tracks to make a come back. Hence the low number of events currently planned. The low attendance of the last 2 or 3 events doesn't help so if you guys love the ZC, show it some love!! ;)

Il be there next week Warrius, i really kind of hated myself waking up this morning posting what i did, i admit i was sat there watching the Liverpool game and playing Gran Turismo 6, people come and go, others will take there place, its heartening that people want to jump in and join as new members also, that didnt happen on forza when i was playing, it was the set number of people over say 15 weeks and nobody else can join, one race we was doing the nurbergring with 3 people over 10 laps.

Maybe i just need to up my game to get in touch with the top 6 :gtpflag:

I also have to admit I was watching the snooker final with one eye. That resulted in a crash into the wall in the second race and I left. I have to ask when you leave does your car still stay on the track? I remember someone complaining and if it was my car I apologise! I was a bit pissed off with the snooker results and my driving and just left without thinking too much. Promise to be more concentrated next week.

Do you know that one of the reasons I moved the Zero Cup from Wednesdays on GT5 to Mondays was because of the Champions League matches?

I didn't think Mondays would give you guys opportunities for distractions.

But I get it. O'Sullivan and Liverpool not winning were 2 bad surprises for the fans as well as surprises for neutrals.

Hopefully next week, nothing will distract us, and if the Wimbledon and Rolland Garros finals are played on a Monday because of bad weather, I'll postpone the Zero Cup! ;):D

Mondays a great day to play it Warrius, il be preying for Villa tonight, god knows why i really care to be honest, im nearly 42 for gods sake, and im not even a scouser i just live nearby, ive a feeling O'Sullivan is medicated (sedated) or something as hes seeing a shrink and not playing to his normal speed.

Haha, thank You Kkg! :) Now I see we're going to race not only in a "Ferrari Festival", but at the "Zero Cup" and the "All Japan Club" aswell (maybe something more), thats cool! :D
Clubs like this one or the "Ferrari Festival" is what I like - great, fun to drive, same cars, and clean racing!

Thanks for your interest in the Zero Cup!

Would this be your first online racing?
Don't take offence but we are keen on fair and clean racing and have noticed that new online drivers sometimes tend to treat other drivers like AI drivers (which usually doesn't go down too well...) so we tend to be cautious. Have you read the Rule Book and OLR? Do you have any question?

The next Zero Cup event won't be until the 21st but please check here if some of us will announce some practice session (to the regular drivers, please let Cobra know if you're going to do some practice). It would be good for one of us to see how you're doing.

EDIT:

Rule Book updated: the starting grid formation procedure has been adjusted. Basically, everyone goes on track at the same time and put themselves in the correct order.

It is not going to be my first online race, I had completed a lot of clean races in GT5 (but not a GTP races) and one, Ferrari Festival, GT6 GTP race (as a Kkg had said :D)
I've read the Rule Book and OLR, everything is clear for me, those rules are really detailed, I like them :)
I'll send You a FR in a free time, can't wait to race with You guys :)

I wasn't being clear (you were supposed to answer the questions before me asking) so I'll save us time.

1. Have you read the rule book?
2. No, really, I mean it, go read it....
3. Come on, the link is not so hard to find.
4. How much online racing have you been doing over the last year or so?
5. How much of it was clean racing?
6. Have you sent that friend request yet? (you could have while I was asking the questions)
7. Any comments or questions about the weather, GYF and starting grid?
8. Are you still trying to guess what the GYF (pronounce it JYF :D) is?

About my online racing , I mostly join random online rooms , but well ...
joined FGTA GP2 Series recently , but rarely had organized races on gt6
I'm doing my best to stay clean and fair on track ...
Not at home for the moment , so i'll send the friendsrequest as soon as i can .

About GYF , i actually always wanted such a rule !

i have a last question , Do I have to be in the GTP registy to race here?
