Ah, yes.

Read the rules - I like the Gentleman's Yellow addition.
I have been racing in SNAIL for nearly three years, and I am our third most active Steward.
(However, this has not made me very fast yet...)
I will send PSN invite from HandlebarMustash once I kick my son offline.
Ethernet... Yah! I am always surprised when I hear someone playing online games who is not on ethernet.

The invite is NOT going out: "We're sorry, but because of this user's status, you're unable to invite them."

Sorry to be a pain, has the rule changed so you cant put comfort soft on in the pits?...last time it pissed it down i could do this, do you need to do this beforehand and take a gamble?....just pitted with the tires you need to start with and it wouldnt let me change tires.

just wondered :indiff:

Anyway....better luck next week

Epic third race!! A very close battle that ended in a gamble inducing chaos... My gamble of staying on SH almost paid off, if only the race had finished one lap earlier...
After a first race being one of my worst, the evening became really enjoyable.
Great fights with a lot of people.

And sorry, @MrWhite1972 , for your misfortune.

i bought them Cu3e and also the other soft tires before the race but it wouldnt let me use them, anyway no worry :gtpflag:

That sounds weird

For me the issue was that the time from when the pit menu popped up to the time when the crew started working was so short. I fumbled and ended up adding some fuel. Not sure how many seconds I lost there.

@WarriusZero Definitely Midfield...preferably reverse. It's just better that way.

@watermelon punch You didn't absolutely need CS, as long as you could see where the dry line was. Although if you miss it, it's insta-hydroplane. But, even going off a few times was faster than a pitstop. Weird about the wet track indicator not working though. Perhaps because some of the track remained dry.

Yeah well I didn't get them. Because I hadn't bought them.
Anyway yeah I noticed the wetness indicator said 0% but clearly it wasn't.
It was hard for me to tell until I saw others spin...
I wasn't spinning like other people... I thought I was just more cautious. Because I don't know the track very well.
But maybe I was staying on the driving line?

Funny since just a couple of weeks ago somebody :odd: was criticizing my lines on Apricot Hill. Guess my lines aren't so bad after all!

Also, I don't really have a preference between tracks, and I don't even know if I'll make it yet. :(

But I must say Mid-Field Reverse is heads & tails better than forward. :odd:
Not even sure why. But everybody else was right, and now I'm a believer.

@Cu3e yes I noticed. I'm still being more impatient about Project CARS than the custom tracks, though...

It's decided (even though I haven't tried it myself): I'm replacing Tokyo with Mid-Field Reverse.

Well trust me when I say, Mid-Field Reverse is everything it's cracked up to be.
Even better, it's not that hard to learn initially. Like the learning curve there isn't particularly steep.
For example, I'm still struggling to get the hang of Red Bull Ring at all. And, Apricot Forward is still a big mystery to me at times. (I feel better on Apricot Reverse - I suspect I drove that more in GT4, IIRC.)
But Midfield Reverse I already feel I'm at a more advanced stage of learning it. It's like it has such a nice flow, and it's not too complicated, so you can really start enjoying yourself there right away.

I tend to agree with you watermelon, however in the reverse layout the first corner and breaking is a tricky one. I find this is where I gain and loose most of my lap time delta :-)

A few bits of information for you:

We will race the Lexus with a tyre wear set to normal.
The last car we'll race is the Megane RS Trophy '11 on Sports Hard.
And Europe will be switching back to daylight saving time on the 31st March. So the last event will start at 8pm BST instead of 8pm GMT.
