Sony Computer Entertainment UK and the hugely popular Gran Turismo series return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed as an official partner for the second year running, and you can be there to join them!
Five pairs of tickets for each day of the event are up for grabs. Entrants can select which day they would like to attend, with twenty different winners benefiting from this must-have prize for all automotive fans.
This year’s event will feature what is set to be the largest collection of full-scale Vision Gran Turismo concept cars in the world to date. Vision Gran Turismo allowed leading manufacturers the opportunity to create innovative concept cars that would take to the track in Gran Turismo 6. But at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, these audacious works of art will also be brought to life in full-scale models.
GT6 gaming experiences will be hosted by a number of manufacturers at the event, including Nissan, Alfa Romeo, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen.
Nissan, PlayStation’s partner in the innovative GT Academy programme that aims to take the best Gran Turismo gamers and turn them into real racing drivers, will be hosting a live event ‘wildcard’ competition at its Moving Motor Show area. The first ever UK GT Academy winner and current GP3 racer, Jann Mardenborough, will be on hand to pass on advice to gamers looking to follow in his footsteps, with the competition giving gaming and motorsport fans the last chance to secure a place at this year’s GT Academy UK Final.
