so you bought a car.. and you want to drift it.. and you have no basic info about your own car... i would suggest doing a lot of studying .... more power is not always the answer to your problems... ESPECIALLY in drifting...drifting is more about your suspension.... just look around.. try out some settings....see what happens to your handling when you change certain things....and in real life.. always prepare for the worst ^_^

Look.. If you people actually get to know a car's handling characteristics, you may actually not need settings. If you don't PD and the other people that handle this thread will start making bogus settings. Enjoy them otherwise practice with your car.

All my settings are from Arcade mode
 
Decided to have a go at my own settings. Enjoy. Great for low-speed FD's in general!
1992 Mazda RX-7 Type RZ (FD)

All tuning parts listed purchased from RE Amemiya.

Some form of spoiler (D1 style looks prettiest)
Tires F/R: N1/N1
Racing brakes
Brake balance controller

After oil change, this should all put you near 300hp, if not breaking even. I suggest MT for this setup.
 
Just wondering if you can use the same settings for the 350Z from GT3 on GT4? If anyone can let me know, or have new settings for the 350Z let me know. It will be greatly appreciated.

GT3>>GT4 cross-tuning seems to work okay in some instances. We couldn't think of any logical settings for my brother's Spoon Civic, so we used GT3 settings from the drift depot. Worked wonders. ^^
 
:scared: This is my first post on the forums. I've been drifting since GT3 and continuing in GT4. I will be posting my settings here for everybody and will be taking requests for some settings. This is a setting for a '86 Toyota MR-2 1600 G-Limited SuperCharged that you can get from the Historic Showroom Used Car Dealer.


You have to buy the following upgrades :


Racing Exhaust
Brake Controller, NO Racing Brakes
NA Tuning Stage 2, Port Polish, Full Engine Balancing, Racing Chip
Racing Suspension
Economy Tires (N1)
Weight Reduction Stage 1 & 2

The car should have 214 Hp after the oil change. It doesn't have to much power so you have to play more with the weight balance for getting into a drift. Enter the corner smoothly and then accelerate. Really gets sideways and back at Apricot Hill.

Ok PLEASE USE the cars FULL NAME when asking or posting for anything. Every time anyone say's anything about a car as say i want settings for a evo. I have no idea whitch one he/she means. SO please read what i have to say, and follow the guide lines that i set.

*This thing is balls to the wall fun, if you could take down the HP I'd suggest it, but you can't :) Try this car on those wide sweeping turns of Nurburgring. At over 80 mph sideways looks incredible in replay.
