The Last Round of Kenny's Muscle Car Competition!

yeah, i'm proud of it, cause i completely caught that by accident.. cause i needed to pause for a sec when i left the room

I agree, that shot looks great. Not a fan of the wing though, but surprisingly it doesn't look that bad on the car. Love the blue color. You can barely notice the tire sticking through the fender in the picture, but otherwise it's awesome :)

haha.. yeah, i have it almost as low as it goes.. the wing is for aerodynamic purposes.. and its like the taller version of the original

For me a Muscle car should do 3 things:

1: Treat the fans to a lively burn out:

2: Should be able to jump hills like there's no tomorrow:

3: Should be able to drift insanely around any which corner in the world:

that last photo.. is good except the angle.. too extreme for my tastes i guess :embarrassed:

1 - Taking Dad´s car (28,000 miles Chevelle) to Drag Race all night long.

2 - Returning home before Dad wakes up.

3 - Dad´s welcome (In white shirt), he is not very happy.

^ haha ... that's interesting ...
well without the caption ... it hardly know what you are trying to express

Very funny buggymaster 👍

Franz, you are going to enter, right?

Brock - no apparent hurry, but if you need more time you got it.

I have no time to take pictures at the moment
so I guess I will not enter

Muscle Cars!

They're big. They're tough. And they can look down their noses at you...

They attract all kinds of attention, both good and bad...

They are unbridled masses of power. Untamed. Should these beasts be locked up?..

Hope this isn't too late.

My first entry in your compo kenny.

The past, present and future? of muscle.

'71 Dodge Charger Super Bee 426 Hemi

2005 Ford Mustang GT

2002 Cadillac Cien Concept (not really a muscle car but the closest I could find to a muscle car concept)

The essence of a muscle car is:

Using the power and knowledge to yr advance so you can own others on the drag strip.

Trying to get the nerves under control when lining the baby up after the burnout.
Counting along with the lights. Getting the rpm's up and steady....

Keeping it under control when 600hp starts moving on the edge.
And doing that while yr sight is already focused at the finish line a quarter mile away....

Feeling one with the car on those last bits of cement before the finish line when the adrenaline reaches its climax.

PS: did PS work to it.

Crikey today were goanna search for my favorite of all the car species the muscle car! Scientist believe these cars have been around for hundreds of years. Of all the car species the muscle car is the only one that has stayed this close to their evolutionary origins because they had no reason to evolve that far beyond what they started at

Crikey here we see a group of corvettes. These vettes are pack hunters and extremely family loyal. wander into the packs territory and they will bring you down quickly with their impressive quarter mile speeds and quickness in changing directions Danger Danger!! Unlike these vettes who show a constantly slow evolution the Gt40 that was once thought all but extint has made a large leap in its last generation the new gt40 are amazing just look at these beauties

I gonna have a look into the Gt40's resting place these are usually called pits and can house many different species. I don’t recommend that anyone try this as this is very dangerous. Crikey where in luck it appears the Gt40 is away feeding or out to patrol its area. These creatures are very territorial and if I get caught in here im a gonna for sure. Crikey........

Excellent entries, everyone!

Yeah the story is hilarious but the third photo is really boring. The other two, especially the second one are pretty unique.

4 spots left. Brock and 440 please tell me how much time you need.

I thought long and hard about what muscle cars are all about.Eventually I came up with with 3 things.

Final Entries
1.Looks. An iconic muscle car has to look great, and have road presence. The '69 Corvette is an example.

2. The Open Road. Muscle cars belong on the open road, where you can just put the pedal to the metal and go for it.

3. Great Legacies. Whenever a successor to a muscle car comes out,it has to follow in the legacy of the one before it.The Ford GT40 and GT are no exceptions.

My theme is Power, Speed & Style with a Plumb Crazy Charger at the Strip

I will post my pics in the morning as I have to re-shoot one of them due to a graphic glitch that came up :ouch:
