I'm still jealous of you for having that version of the game, Franz ;).

Nice shots, I seem to be cursed with not being able to take decent ones at Infineon. The third one has gorgeous reflections, and I like the subtle dusk effect of the first vert. I love all the verts; the second one has that Type-R sticker that got me a chuckle, the third is just a beautiful shot, and the fourth has such a view over what's to come.

Sweet 👍

thanks for the comment 👍
This batch is rather difficult to manage in Photoshop
because it is all green ... I have to use natural colour to keep it real
btw ... it seems the headlight on is a bit cheesy
need more practice on that :P

I also have some photos with the same car running in SS route 5
but the car look very crappy in blue environment
so this is enough for this crappy car

The bottom row is my favorite.
As you pointed out, it must have been difficult working with those colours...
Good job. 👍

Experimental Toon

It has been a month with no new update even I had tons of new shots available in my computer. I figured that I was kept repeating the same techniques and no new improvement, so I decided to post something different. This vector-ish toon style was done with photoshop filters, in other word it is a cheater's vector. Although they didn't take me too long to finish a photo, I am pretty happy with the result.
If it is done by path, that will be more detail and clean. Anyhow hope you guys enjoy this update.
From now on, I will try more new stuff to push GT4 photos to a new level

The first pic looks very Auto-Modellista. Great job. Is there an acual filter for this, or did you do it yourself, if so, please tell. (And quit making us jealous with the version of gt4 you have.)

Thanks PB
I used cutoff and smart blur edge, but there is one single artistic filter can do the similar job as well, however I can't recall the name :P

They look bloody great, particularly the FTO.

Franz if you can remember the name of the filter you used it would be much appreciated.

👍

Regards

Scaff

Cool. They remind me of a coloring book (at least the FTO does) with all of the black outlines of everyting. Nice artistic effect, but I am not sure I am a real fan of it. I know you probably don't have time franz, but you should give another update or something. Everybody enjoys your work.:)

440: Yeah I really don't have time like I used to. I even found difficult to participate all competitions. However I will still stay on realistic side, but the way to present will be different. Hopefully I will have more time next week for updates

Ryosuke_Gumna, Scaff: I have used the artistic filter named "cutoff" to make separate the colour. To do this step, I need to separate the car and the background to 2 different layers. Then apply cutoff filter to each of them. (This way you can put max. 16 colour levels instead of 8.) Next is to do the outline, I apply smart blur (edge) to a copy of original image and put this layer to soft-light or overlay mode. Add satuation filter (increment) to the whole image.
There is another artistic filter can do the job as well named "Poster Edges". I found it created too many outlines for my liking, but you guys can try it out yourself.

Vonie: R32 is my favorite as well. The original image is so freaking sweet

PhotoShop Motion Blur Showcase
The originals were taken with 1/4000 shutter speed
then using motion radical blur to produce high speed effect
these shots were inspired from some great PS guy like 440, Div and EVO
enjoy :)

Well I already used photoshop blur long before but, I use new layers for it then delete the area of the car, but you did that really neat:eek:

Your latest update almost bring a tear in the eyes of a speed freak like me.

It is absolutely fantastic. :dunce: The smooth effect on the second one is almost hallucinating. And the reflections on the last one are awesome. I call it great but it is far beyond. 👍 :)

If those were real shots I wish I weren't the man behind the camera, lol!

Really nice shots man, really nice style! I like the green FPV really much, because of the green tints. But I like the first shot too, and second and third! Great shots! 👍

This is an awesome update! You´re right, the default motion blur is crappy, it looks more like being drunk. Replacing it with hand made blur really pays. 👍 👍 👍 As heavy PS mostly does. I really like the grille details on the last shot!

Prost!

The F6 is beautiful.
The FTO looks like it is about to slam into a wall.

And the Rally ones are awesome as well.
