Glad you guys like them

Evo - I will be interested to see your work since you are so into motion blur
not to mention your wheel blur technique is already top notch 👍

Always loved your entries in the competitions. This is the first time a really take a look at your entire gallery! Damn I'm speechless! Just brilliant! Love the silverado shot! Sooo clean!
Your doing a hell of a job and I hope to see much more in the future! 👍 👍

Very sweet franz, i have tried those shots before and what I did was just use litle pieces of motion blur to go in a curve, and then just smudge the parts where they meet.

First off, that Chevy SS Concept Studio Style shot is AWESOME, just wow. 👍

The blurred shots are great, too. The BMW M5 shot is very nice, but I really love the Formula GT / Suzuka shot; just gorgeous. Phenomenal work as always, franz.

By the way, I have ALL of those Porsche wallpapers. I love that website. And if you look hard enough in the Babes section, under Models - Josie Maran you'll find the picture I used to make your current avatar. :)

Hi franz,

That Chevy SS is amazing, must be the best photoshopped image I have seen on this forum.:dopey: In fact I am inspired to try one myself if you don't mind.

Could I ask you a couple of questions:
Which photomode location did you use to take the origainal photos?
What was your approach to cleaning up the image?
Which photoshop tools did you use?
Could post a before and after shot showing the origainal photo from GT4 and the same section once it has been photoshopped?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to seeing you next work.

I cannot recall the name of the photomode location
that location is an old japanese village
but I recommend the place with red leaves
it has better reflection than this
(thanks to brock5000's infamous Dodge Viper)
Here is the original shot I combined from 16 vertical shots and its cleaned up version
the size has been reduced in half and brightened for better viewing
(sorry for the different brighten level because they are 2 different PSDs)

Now you can see how bad the original was :scared: The clean up version is not super clean as I mentioned earlier. I left out the door handle and I didn't use a right method to recreate the door lines in the beginning, so there were some bad texture along the door lines.

My clean up method contains 2 parts. First part is to clean up the jaggies, by using path to create a smooth curve, then turn that into a selection and brush. Sometimes I use gradient tool such as the fender part of the SS truck. I also use path to create door lines and windows. Second part is to clean up those halfones. I use smart blur most of the time, but I don't apply that to the whole picture, so layer mask is used on the smart blurred layer. I also have to clean up the original door lines and smooth out those reflectio by using brush, smudge, and clone stamp.

Hope all your questions have been answered
cheers :)

Thankyou for the supports guys

tabs: yeah that wallpaper site is so awesome. It got big resolution wallpapers. Best for photo choppers. I even found treefinger's avatar 👍

Hi Franz,

Thank you for your quick and very informative reply.
You really did some great work cleaning up that original image.

I'm off to take some photos and see what I can come up with.

Keep up the good work!
