thanks PB ... that's R246

I figured out a great way to do motion blur
the trick is to dulplicate the blury background couple times from 440's guide
it works like a magic 👍

Guide? Me wants a link to this magic guide! Or is it a secret one? Great shot Franz! 👍

Now that we are talking about special effects, may I suggest a minor rule change... Would it be possible to allow adding noise in this competition also? Not that you get any great speed effects with it, but still I have missed it a couple of times.

Hmmm, I am also interested in this guide...
PS Great shot franz! Perhaps the only thing is, the wheels look a little flat.

Very very nice entries so far 👍👍👍.
I'll take my chance with the Monaro

Awesome entry jacoja06!

Slightly changed final entry here. Because I used clone stamp to remove the numberplate... :P

Monaro is a popular choice this week!
@Jacoja - Looks awesome! It would look even better if you put a radial blur on the wheels to make it look like they're spinning.

franz
EVO - the wheel I put was flat, so it is easier to blur
the rear wheel is really pain in the butt
Superb entry, although it looks as though you've gotten rather sloppy! The badge looks overly brightened, and yes the dinner plate wheel 👎:indiff:.

I take it you rotated the camera around so you got a straight on view of the wheel, radial blurred and then distorted it to fit your final composition? If so, there are ways of fixing the flatness. You can either use a large brush in Liquify, and manipulate the inner part so it looks as though it has some depth, or go back to GT4 and take another shot from the original camera angle. This time zoom in and focus on the front/rear wheel with a desired shutter speed, then distort it (if needs be) to fit the wheel. Works like a charm!

Alpha > I only used the original image
what I did was copy the rim out and transform it to a perfect circle
apply radical blur then transform it back to original shape
the wheel I put was very flat ... take a look :)

edit > I don't like the badge of Ford
and I love to overbrighten anything in light colour
