STL Ram's Fan Diary (Last Week) -Lions @ Rams-

I again refer you to the Colts schedule. Do you think they suck, too?

Find me a team that is looking forward to playing a playoff game against the Seahawks in our miserable January weather, in one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL (excellent acoustical design for an outdoor stadium :)).

13 wins doesn't come free. Rams fans will be lucky to see 13 wins over the next TWO years.

What does weather have to do with it if your in a Dome. The crowd noise can be a problem though.

Does this look like a dome to you?

I dare suspect that teams like Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Dallas aren't particularily comfortable playing in 40 degrees, with steady rain and swirling winds. The Seahawks practice in that crap for two months, and the fans aren't deterred by it one bit. BIG home-field advantage.

Any team. What? We should start kissing the Seahawks @$$ or something?

If only we could play the Rams twice to get to the Superbowl........Seneca Wallace would get some playing time.

i doubt it. we lost by a field goal the the skins. the way we lost to the skins was the same way the giants lost to us. tied it, and could have won it, but we josh brown missed the field goal.

plus im sure NYG would be just tickled pink to play there again. it would be such an easy win. because they didnt get called for like, 15 false starts, and they didnt get a lucky break on one of the TD's. oh wait...

I'm sure Dallas is just thinking, man I hope we can play a playoff game in Seattle, it'll be such an easy win. Because, when they shut down Alexander, Hasselbeck couldnt even put together an 85 yard drive at the end to tie the game. and our defense didnt hold a very potent offense to 13 points. oh wait...

The Redskins are wayyyyyyyy better than they were back then yet they still beat you back when they were stuggling to score TDs.

You did get lucky with Dallas and they're offense isn't that potent.

^If they make it. Dont be too confident.

STL Rams at DAL Cowboys

One more last time for the last week, eh? Still trying to get these ppl off my back. :) Well i'm just gonna look towards the future now and hopefully we can get Faulk back to play another season ;) That'll be nice to hear before the start of next season. Back-on-topic...I'd crave for a win on Sunday. Even though this team is clear underdogs we still can gather up a victory. If the D can hold up. That's my expectations, it's gonna be a long postseason. BTW the diary still lives on. --->>>>

GO RAMS!!!

That would make a very good game now that both teams have found their identity. I'm gunna go wit my skins just cuz they got a great defense and that offense is unstoppable right now.

I need those F'ing Cowboys to lose cuz the F'ing Giants are beating the hell outta the Raiders.

^We'll help you out! :) I dont like the Boys' neither...just like their stadium.

Yes the Skins won. We don't need the Rams help anymore but I still want them to paste the Cowboys cuz I just hate the cowboys with a passion..

We did!
Week 17
STL Rams 20 at DAL Cowboys 10
End. End of the season. End of an era. M. Martz fired due to front office issues. Dammit. SO now the question is, are we gonna get an offensive coach or a defensive coach. I mos definitely want a defensive minded coach, obviously. Our offense is just fine. But that's just sad that he had to leave. Wow. Start of a new season though, the off-season soo dont expect this thread to die. Weell thanks for looking through my diary. YOu b*tches. :(

GO RAMS! AND HOKIES!!! BTW THEY WON!!! AND best of wishes to D. Vermeil who retired. AND GOOD LUcK TO Lovie and his Bears, i'll be rooting them on!

Thank you for beatin the Cowboys. I think the Rams will be better without M. Martz. Don't know why, I just got a feelin they will be.

P.S. You talkin about about the VT hokies.

I feel that Martz relied too heavily on the passing game. I also hope that we get a more defensive minded coach so that we can improve on that and possibly improve on our O-line.

There has been enough coaches let go this past weekend that we can have our pick of them. I'd like to see Mike Sherman from Green Bay just so I could dig it in to my co-worker who thinks that Green Bay can do no wrong. Besides Sherman's only mistake was not replacing Favre when he should have.

OK, Sherman's just a joke but hopefully we can see some future super coach coming up from college that will take us to the Super Bowl in a few years. We'll probably end up with Mariucci or Tice, neither of which I am excited about.

I am curious about Bulger's future with his shoulder injury keping him out for most of the season. It seems like he is the forgotten player at this point. He might have to re-earn his position during the off season. It will be interesting to see who they draft. That will probably be the biggest key to the gameplan for next season. If Bulger is an issue I expect to see a QB pick or trade. If he is healthy and throwing well then I expect to see some defense and O-line guys. If we can get that O-line built up then I can gurantee that Bulger will throw a lot less interceptions and we can get some good holes opened up for our running game, which has the potential to be incredible. Even Bulger comments that he is throwing too much.

Oh well, time to cheer on the Bengals and if they get knocked out then it will be cheer against whoever is playing the Colts or the Patriots.

That said I think the Super Bowl will be the Seahawks (hurts to say it) and the Colts. I think the Colts will win by a field goal at the end. Why? Because they always win or lose their big games by a field goal at the end.

Hey Foolkiller! :)
I'd be mad to see Marrucci or Tice take a head position on our team. I really dont know why actually...

Bulger will be back so i shouldnt worry about that.

THE Hawks'? For the Super Bowl? Ok...that's what you say! ;) I'm rootin' on Lovie.

And yes, i meant the VT Hokies...

Me too. Maybe we can get Bobby Petrino from University of Louisville. His name is getting thrown around as an NFL prospect and to have my college rival lose an incredible coach to my NFL team would be great. I doubt he'll go NFL because he has a son quarterbacking for the state champions.

I didn't say I liked it. Besides, a good (read: lucky) year doesn't end in the playoffs. They might be like Tampa Bay and get their one shining moment and then go back to struggling again.

Honestly, as long as it isn't the Patriots I will be happy.

As of yesterday 25% of all NFL coaches have been fired. WTF dude!?

JFM92_GTRacer
Crazy eh? I heard Martz may go to the silver and black. Wow, another team to root for??? I'll be on the look out for who's interest in our team.
I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Raiders.

Shaw says he wants to find someone in 3-4 weeks. So it will be soon.

They have asked to interview Bears defensive coordinator Ron Rivera. They have this week to talk to assitants on playoff teams but nothing can be made official. The only other names being tossed around are Redskins defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, Giants defensive coordinator Tim Lewis, and Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.

Shaw said no college coaches had been considered but could change after looking at the bowl games.

The only definite is that Vitt is not a candidate.

All my info came from here.

I heard Greg Williams is staying at the skins' so that might not be true. Also I just want a defensive coach, that's what i want.

BTW, here's the other teams i root for and why:
-Bears, Lovie Smith coaching
-Skins', Gibbs coaching
-Silver in Black in the future???

AND Also BTW, would you get Vince Young if given the chance? Me? Hell yes!

Big NEWS guys!!!

I'm getting a Marshall Faulk, My FAV player, Authentic jersey!! My size too!! My dad's gonna help me get it!! That's it. Oh yeah, Foolkiller if you like Authentic jerseys i'll give you a good site. Just PM me.:)

i dont think the hawks will make the super bowl. but theyll hardly struggle next year. this isnt a team that just one year all of a sudden broke out. its a team that had been progressing for a few years and finally made something of themselves. maybe they wont win 13 games next year, but i would bet good money on at least 20 wins over the next 2 seasons.

JFM92_GTRacer
^Cmon! That's your team root them on! Never heard that much doubt in their favorite team.

i like the seahawks and i think theyre a good team. i want them to go to the super bowl and i want them to win it. i also want a new car. and a relationship with lindsay lohan.

the defense is led by a rookie. a good rookie but still rookie. but i dont think theyll make the super bowl with a poor secondary and a pair of rookie LBs. but thats exactly why i think they will continue to do good and even do better. young players and rookies generally get better. im not 100% sure if alexander will stay in seattle, but if he does this team will seriously be better next year. the defense isnt going to make it a habit of giving up 300 yards passing to non playoff bound teams and they probably will still lead the league in sacks like they did this year.
