STL Ram's Fan Diary (Last Week) -Lions @ Rams-

Let's not start with the hate-each-other-train.
I never said hate. I just want you to lose, the same as you want us to lose. The worse you do the better we do and vice-versa. If we were in different divisions we wouldn't care all that much.
Tell that to the Giants. I'm sure they take great solice in the fact that they played better.
The Gients missed how many attempts to win the game? When you get there that many times and screw it up every time I call that losing the game to the other team.

If the Seahawks had LOST this game, people here would be jumping off buildings, especially after the league said that the ref was wrong on both Giant TD's.
They didn't say that. Read here.

Telling us that we don't deserve this is like telling Katrina victims that they don't deserve aid because they should have known better than to live below sea level.
That is a tough comparison. Besides, it isn't that you didn't deserve it, I just think that you all should give Feely a parade.

If it makes you feel any better, I did root for Seattle on this game just because I want Eli Manning to fail after his draft day stunt that he pulled with San Diego. He whined his way on to the Giants and after that he deserves no success. If he didn't want to play the draft game then he should have gone free agent. I only hope that the football gods will smote him.

Since I am a Rams fan you should know how hard it is for me to do that, knowing that it could mean the final nail in the coffin of our playoff hopes. I have that much dislike for Eli Manning.

BTW, nice to have you back here Foolkiller!
Thanks, my wife's family has had some health issues and that combined with the holidays has kept me from having much time to say anything. I had three Thanksgiving dinners to eat. I have been reading every week though.

Weell anyways
pre-Week 13
WAS Redskins (???) at STL Rams (5-6)
Hopefully Philly can snag a win at home against those Terrible Hawks', and of course a win by the Rams. :) It aint gonna come easy. BTW, where'd Bulger go???

ANYWAY, bring that smart@$$ on the field! :) Harvard! He seemed very composed in the HOU game, which is good. I'd look foward for a good game from him this weekend, but we have to go against the Skins' D. Which is ferocious.

Speaking about D, i'm still praying everynight to hear Dre Bly or Lovie come back. Still not yet, but hopefully we can get somebody.........

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, what we need to win:
-Defense
-Turnovers on the other team
-No penalties
-Force TO's
-Efficient Offense
-Score whenver given the chance.

Well, here's my prediction:
WAS Skins' 20- STL Rams 21
No OT this time! GO RAMS!!!

JFM92_GTRacer
BTW, where'd Bulger go???
According to the injury report his shoulder is still keeping him out, along with a ton of other guys we could use.

Martin is questionable with his concussion, so we might get Harvard back. Situations like this are how superstars are made. Just look at how Brady got in or Bulger for that matter. Perhaps the Harvard chap will be our key to improvement.

A few key players back in the game and we should be able to at least pull off a winning season.

I heard Martz wants to come back and says that he checks out. He is supposed to be asking the Rams to let him get back in a coaching position. Wonder if he will or if they are outing him. This season has been such a struggle and he does so little running I wouldn't be surprised if they paid off his last year and sent him on his way.

I highly doubt the Rams stand a chance against the Redskins this week. Washington is playing solid, Brunell is actually playing well, Clinton Portis is still a great runner and their defense, though they may not force that many turnovers, doesn't give up too much. And with no Bulger, I'd probably predict a 10+ point win for Washington this week. ;)

JFM92_GTRacer
^^Yep that's true. But i doubt that Fitzpatrick would take Bulger's job, BUT we'll see about that...
I remember thinking that when Warner got injured. I kept thinking that a few games and he would be back to his old self. Next thing I knew he was throwing INTs and Bulger was the starter.

I think I would rather see him take Bulger's spot and us pull out a great season than us lose. Whatever the final outcome I am sure he will put on a jolly good show, eh chaps?

Sorry, you mention Harvard and I instantly speak in snooty. :sly:

pre-Week 14
STL Rams at MINN Vikings
Season over, but still time to improve. (BTW sorry for not postiing here on Wednesday :) )
Ok, so i'm still asking myself if Bulger should start if healthy for the rest of the season. SO far i say yes, BUT we got more to think about. Like the off-season. DBs and all...
I'll end that right there, until then...

GO RAMS!!!

Well, at this point I think I will just go cry in the corner. It doesn't help that I am surrounded by Colts fans here at work.

Man what's going on over there with the Vikings coming from nowhere to a winning streak? Just when it seems like Seattle can't lose, the Rams can't seem to manage a W. Oh well for you Rams fans, I guess it's time to start talking about next year.

As for me, I'm watching Seattle turn into a fantastic team (imagine, they were doing well BEFORE they got their WRs back). Seattle has it on all sides of the ball this year. I'd even say they remind of the Colts a bit. The colts are strong at passing, a little less strong at running, and good on D. The seahawks are strong at running, a little less strong at passing, and good on D.

But the seahawks have shown quite a bit more weakness - with that lame win over the Giants. Man, it was like both teams wanted the other one to win.

Week 14
STL Rams at MIN Vikings
Vikings won. Fitzpatrick 5 INT. I SWEAR, i didnt even see a single highlight of this game and right now i dont even want to. :( Danoff...**** you and your team. ALSO, just beat the Colts for me. Our team could've done it and i guess your team could to. :(

AWW MAN! :( :( :(

GO RAMS! I WANT AN OUTDOOR STADIUM! NOW!

Week 15
PHI Eagles at STL Rams
Yes! We can actually win this one! I'd really and always like a win so i hope the Rams can get this one. :)
I'll make this one quick since i'm on a quick schedule:
-Run
-No to's
-Pass
-D

See ya on Monday!

STILL NOT DEAD.
Week 15
PHI Eagles at STL Rams

thought we had this one. Our D is holding us up. Wont call it a season yet until i see improvement on D. Well that's the bottomline, until then

GO Rams!!!

That was hard to see, well get updated on. I was watching teh Colts get beat :) and watching the update in the corner of the screen. I thought we had that one for sure only to see us lose.

First of all Merry Christmas to all. :)
pre-Week 16
SF 49ers at STL Rams

Oh yeah. Look at how far we've gotten through this season. With the season preetty much done, it's time for a nice rematch. Niners coming to the Dome to play a battered up and bruised Rams...oh yes! Faulk playing, yes! Time to get down and dirty against our dumb@$$ rivals, eh? And I FINALLY get to see my Rams on TV! I'll just have to say good luck to our D cause' i do NOT want A. Smith to get a TD. Merry Christmas, and i'll be back on Monday. :)

GO RAMS!!!

the offense isnt getting any worse and the defense is only getting better. the rams took a step backward this season, and unless they have a huge turnaround the seahawks will have little competition. i think youre too optimistic about the rams. you predicted them to beat the colts. in fact, i havent seen you predict a loss for them. your knowledge of the game seems to be overshadowed by your blind faith in your favorite team.

Damn Seahawks' fan, i like the fact that you stand for your team though. :) I'm always optimistic about the Rams. Our offense is still BRIGHT, in fact we'll kill the Colts in a game if we have a chance and everyone is healthy. Hell yeah i'll predict a victory again. Matter fact i have a GREAT knowledge for the game and look how old i am. Since you're so smart i guess you can predict that your Seahawks wont stand a chance in the playoffs. Cause they're fake.

the seahawks havent had a healthy secondary since week 5 or something like that. yet they still win. i thought they would lose to NY, i thought the game in Philly would be close. The Seahawks are as much a quality team as any.

the seahawks have allowed the second fewest red zone points. number one team? chicago.

the seahawks have arguably, the NUMBER ONE offense in the NFL. Shaun Alexander cannot be called a fake. bobby engram, darrel jackson, jerammy steven, joe jeruvicious. these are not the people who dropped the most passes in the nfl last year. mack strong is the best full back in the league. our offensive line has allowed 9 sacks in 15 games. hasselbeck is one of the top 5 rated QBs.

if we had a healthy secondary, the defense would probably be rated top 15, and not 20. tatupu is rookie of the year. and will only get stronger. will get better. the defense will continue to grow.

the real fakers, are the bears. the loss to the steelers shows exactly what kind of team they are.

the giants play inconsistant. sometimes they show up to play against the good teams, and other times they lay down to the bad teams.

seattle has won every which way. theyve come back to win, theyve blown poeple out, and theyve gone TD for TD.

seattle is hardly the best team in the nfl, but they are not fake. their play the last 2 years shows that, as they have finally started to do something. in the past two seasons thay have shown promise and then faded to mediocrity but still made the playoffs. this year they showed promise and got better. the team is coming around finally.

and finally. i am not optimistic about the seahawks. 21 years. the most cursed team in the NFL. i have a right to be proud of a 13 - 2 season. and i have a right to look forward to some much deserved, and well overdue ass-kickings.

^I have respect for a few Seahawks players. Shaun, Joe, and Grant, OH yeah and Mike. But the rest of your team is garbage. If Shaun wasnt there CARRYING the load then your team would be in big trouble. Let's see....YOU played about 6 times against NFC West teams, against the TITANS and almost lost, THE Redskins?, Falcons, Cowboys, Texans, and yeah. Quite an easy season you got there, eh?

Last, Matt is the best BECAUSE of Shaun. LIke Ben in Pittsburgh. THe dude passes like 20 times a game and gets 80% comp and bout 250 yds. WHy? They're a running team. Just like the Hawks'. I dont expect the dude to get real efficient if lets see...a huge deficeit in the playoffs in a game. WHat are they gonna do? Keep running? Or are they gonna pass. I dunno but if your whole offensive gameplan is based on the run then good luck.

The Seahawks' two losses came early in the season to playoff contenders, Jacksonville and Washington. That's not too shameful. We got wins over Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Indianapolis, and a Week 5 St. Louis team which wasn't god-awful yet. The rest of the division may be piss-poor, but you can't win the division unless you beat the teams in the division, which the Seahawks did handily. If you want to rag on our strength of schedule, let me remind you that Indy has wins over Baltimore, Cleveland, Tennessee (2), Houston (2), San Fransisco, St. Louis, and an injured Pittsburgh team. Nobody seems to be doubting them because of it...

Rosthlisberger has 252 attempts. Peyton Manning has 451 attempts. and 300 or so completions. hasselbeck attempts 29.4 times per game. he has 288 completions. SECOND MOST IN THE NFC. He has 441 attempts. 4th in NFC. That has nothing to do with Alexander. Sorry buddy.

and garbage? **** man. youre an idiot. Walter Jones? Trufant? Tatupu? The defense that has the most sacks in the league is garbage? Man, you take rivalry to a whole new level. You don't care about the actual quality of a team, they're just automatically garbage if your team is in their division.

Dammit i'm getting overpowered, where's Foolkiller??? Just wait till next season we'll be ready, dude i still think your team is garbage and dont stand a chance in the playoffs. AND lucky you guys got Home-field advantage at your gay mecca there in Seattle. You DONT stand a chance. I'll keep talking **** unless your team can prove it to me.

THE Redskins?

The Redskins aren't that bad when they're runnin on all cylinders. Is when they're out of rhythym it all falls apart.

I agree though that the Seahawks aren't that great of a team. The had a crappy division to play aginst and a pretty easy schedule. I mean how hard is it to go 6-0 in a divison where you only have to play the Cardinals, 49ers and Rams all of which are in a rebuilding stage or startin to fall off. Then you got 3 lucky wins in the NFC east games. The Cowboys game was a fluke bacuase of dumbass Bledsoe, the Giants had 3 opportunities to end the game, and the Eagles have no one left on them team to play for them. Same with the AFC south. The Titans and Texans flat out suck and you barley beat the Titans. The Colts had nothin to play for and weren't metally in the game with the death of Tony Dungy's son. So there's 12 easy wins.
