Hey! Now, dammit Rev, you really screwed up. Those Moteg Z shots are horrible. The first on e is extra weird because you can't tell what the car is doing. The background is nice, but you can't see the track in the foreground, nor can you see any tire smoke from the drift. All I see are two wheels just a' spinnin' away, seeminly not going in any direction. The car looks like it's going around a right turn, which it is, but it looks like it's turning left. And the reflections on the side make the car look slap-sided like a shiny, red UPS truck. The reflection itself is really pale, doesn't stand out, and is just ugly in general. It makes the car look really tall and skinny.
The second picture is definitely better, but still not what I usually expect from you. It is once again beseetched with under saturated colors and dull reflections. But at least I can tell which way the car is going.
You did say art is objective, and I agree, which is what inclined me to be very blunt with my opinion.
I hate still pictures. But these are just awesome. The super bright reflections, the shiny chrome wheels, the bright sun (I know it's a lens flare, you can't fool me), and the parial angle just make it look really cool. It looks like you have a little diffuse glow or gaussian blur to make the wheels pop alittle more, too. It looks good.
That pretty much sums up the second pic, which I think is the better of two. The car looks low and wide, too, like it should.
Half way good job on tis one. Hope business is better next time.
