Spend a hell oad of time on this one with the smudge tool, it looked really good but some quality was lost after resizing :indiff:

Let me know your thoughts 👍

Another one uploaded ;)

Thanks FA 👍

But I can't sharpen them more, when uploading them, the picture will gt noise, well, that's what happens to me.

If I'd sharpen it more, more noise would appear after uploading :indiff:

nice pictures !! i wish one day i'd get my hands on that model T. seems like u n i have the same problem with resizing and sharpening problems. though mine is much worse i think. anyways, keep uploading! i wanna see more.

oh wow....very nice clean photos, fallen angel is right, the time you spent is very prominent in these pictures....very very good....keep it up!!!

Angain another solid anc clean pic,, I like the reflections made with the diffuse glow filter,, It is called something else in Gimp isn't it..:) Anyways just another very good job:D

Great work yet again Pink.

The backfire looks great alongside the near-perfectly matched tail-lights. 👍

@500th Post.

I like one word sentences  👍

I've given up on the motion blurring stuff, when I blur the background but not the car, the white what's behind the car is also blurred leaving marks.

No matter how many times I duplicate it or add other layers and blur them normal, I still see marks as in the Skyline picture :indiff:

awesome man, very very clean, i dont think that i could do that...like just take really clean photos like that...what all do you do to your pics to clean them up?...just smudging?and i guess that softglow filter...well anyway awesome job!

Gimp - Tutorial 1: Basic Editing

OK, Gimp is a free downloadable software which you'll find everywere around the internet, the latest version is the 2.2 version. I'll take those who use Gimp but aren't familiar with it, through some steps to edit their pictures from GT4. Before you begin reading, I want you to know that I'm using Gimp in Dutch. It shouldn't be that much of a problem though...

In this tutorial, we'll be editting this picture:
Step 1:
First, open up Gimp, then select "File", "Open", and select the file you wish to edit. The picture will now be opened up, probably in 66% size.

Step 2:

First of all, you need to change the Brightness & Contrast, if you think the picture already looks quite good, then this isn't necessary.Go to Tools->Colors->Brightness & Contrast. Just play with the 2 options untill you think it's good enough.

Step 3:
After we did this, it's time to change the Saturation on the picture, if you don't understand the term, don't worry, you'll notice soon enough 👍. Go to Tools->Colors->Hue & Saturation and move the third bar all the way to the right. You'll notice some color edges on the car, but in the next tutorials, you'll learn how to get rid of 'em.

Step 4:
Now we'll sharpen the picture to remove blurry edges, go to Filters->Strengthen->Sharpen. A new window should appear were you can see your image in. If you want to see it more clearly, you can make the window bigger by dragging out the corners. Now you'll see an option. It already says "10" because it notices you have already set the sharpening up to maximum in GT4. Higher this option to between 10-30. Do not go higher as noise on your picture will appear, just set it to 100-< and see what happens, that's what I'm talking about...

Step 5:
This step isn't that important, in this step we'll resize the image. Normally, your image should be 1280X960 pixels which is quite large to fully post in your gallery. Go to Image->Scale image. A new window appears, I always post them in 600X450 pixels but the choice is up to yourself. NOTE: If you resize it smaller then 600 pixels, do the sharpening step after resizing 👍

Tada! The different is not huge but you do notice some changes to the image. Hope you understood everything I said :D

I'll be posting more tutorials were we'll learn how to get rid of the watermark with the Clone tool and how to add effects, glows and other stuff...

I hope this tutorial is somewhat helpfull 👍

Well I thought to the fact there are so many Gimp users but almost never use it because it's so complicated, then why don't help 'em?

But thanks for the comment, I think GTP could use some Gimp tutorials because not all tools are the same and/or have another name but yet can take the same function.
