Turbo lag. A while ago I heard someone say, "What's the difference between a 600 hp Supra and a 1200 hp Supra? They both run the same quarter mile times."

The Supra, especially the Mk. IV, can handle an incredible amount of boost, but the larger the turbo, the longer it takes to spool up. Give it a little more room than a quarter mile and it'll destroy the competition.

That was probably why the car was slow on acceleration.
 
The biggest difference between a Supra and a Skyline R34 is when you go in Arcade mode, test track and drive with one of the cars stock.

I knew a Supra was faster like people mentioned but I didn' t knew it would beat it so easily :scared:

(Skyline 27X km/h, Supra 300! km/h) And that with 330 HP 👍

But in the corners, the story goes a little different :D
 
Ok, I've had this idea, to test all the Le Mans/Prototypes in GT4 at Test Course to see how fast they really are.

But, I don't own all the Le Mans cars, so I need your help.

Below is a checklist of all the cars that will be included, if the car has a '*' by it, it means I own it, all the other cars I do not own.

Anyway, all you have to do, is take a Prototype/Gorup C car to Test Course, run the Max Speed Test, record it's max speed and post it in this thread.

Toyota GT-ONE (Red Version)
Mazda 787B (Orange + Green Version)
Nissan R390 GT1 (Blue Version)

The problem is most likely lack of traction with a high torque RWD v. slightly lower torque AWDs.
 
i own most of those cars and would be more than willing to help. i need to spend some days. should the cars be standard? should they be retuned? these are the cars from the list that i own. (not including ones that you own) :sly:

Bad idea, the best is to post them each in their own category by year and stuff.

For example: Nissan R390GT1 vs. Mercedes CLK-GTR, Toyota GT-ONE vs. BMW V12 LMR, Bentley Speed 8 vs Audi R8

Comparing them all together would be a little unfair for some cars 👎

Ok.

I'm going to do another version of the Le Mans test, using JGTC GT300 cars, if you want to help, sign yourself up for a car (or 2 or 3 etc.) which has'nt got an asterix (*) by it.

Once you've signed up, just take the car to Test Course Max Speed test, record the speed and post it in this thread. Simple :)
