Any punk, Defineatly need some of The offspring in there, AFI, NOFX, Bad religion and some hardcore punk The casualties, the exploited. Some Metal would be good to CKY, HIM, Metallica,

I know most of you wont aggree but :P

Wait a minute, somebody said something about putting music from MP3 player into the game, right?

Well GT5 is on PS3, right? And PS3 has a Hard-Drive, right? XBOX managed to make music on your HD available while playing games, so I don't see why SONY shouldn't be able to?!

I think it's a given that any mp3/wav on your HD will be available to choose to add to your playlist in GT5... would this not make sense?!
that would be awesome! completly agree with you.. i think that when you buy the game it's empty from songs except in the menu's (where it should be the original GT sound)

**** you! this is not NFS! racing goes with rock and silly fast and furious cars goes with hip hop...

I agree with you mate!

Tell you thje truth i would like to see a mix of Rock/Metal and Hip Hop.

Here is my wishlist:

Avenenged Sevenfold
Bullet for my Valentine
Linkin Park
Green Day
System of a Down
Papa Roach
Korn
(beleive it or not) Rammstein and Marlyin Manson (depends on which track)
the list goes on....

Now onto the hip-hop
Some of the tracks from the Urban Weekend CD that came out in the UK:
50 Cent
Eminem
Snoop Dogg
Pussycat Dolls
again the list goes on.

The reason I am saying have a mix of both so it can cater for the peeps who can't stand rock or Hip Hop.

Everyone is probably gonna call me gay for saying this, but some of Sting's songs help me when I'm racing on my Xbox.
That sounded really strange:confused: :dopey:  :dopey:

How about any song ever recorded? With this new microtransaction I believe it will be possible to download any song and personalize your driving experience. Of course you may have to go through Sony's website and I'm sure numerous websites are trying to link with the Sony's site and make this happen. Another possibilty is transfer your music tastes to a memory device and when prompted by the game choose external source. Now of course these are my personal thoughts, but with almost a two year wait until GT5 anything can be added or modified to the game.

When the music sucks....its all off. But I can really drive well with good trance playing. Sometimes I get more into the music and lose my driving line lol.

Trance gets my vote. Especially the music under the Armada label.

I know that Der Meister and Master Yoda pretty much settled the arguments for now, but what I've always wanted in the GT series (BESIDES a downloadable soundtrack) is..

Poison-Play Dirty
White Trash-Apple Pie
Rob Zombie-Never Gonna Stop

Some of my favorites from previous GT's, like...
The Cult-She Sells Sanctuary (best song on GT3)
Motley Crue-Kickstart My Heart
(Yes I know, I have a bias for 80's metal, but still...forums are for voicing opinions, are they not?)

And I'm completely with the guy who said that "As Heaven is Wide" should be brought back.

Yes Alba, more rock and roll

Enough whining about "lets not have any music", if you dont want to listen to the music, you can always just turn it off in options. If its the engines you're complaining about, that's already in another thread

Beastie Boys No Sleep 'till Brooklyn
Beastie Boys- Fight for your Right
Suicidal Tendencies- Cyco Vision
Suicidal Tendencies- You Can't Bring Me Down
The Dead Kennedies- Police Truck
The Vandals- Euro Barge
Primus- The Ballad of Bodacious
Primus- Electric Uncle Sam
Primus- Jerry Was a Race Car driver
Primus- Antipop
Primus- Sgt. Baker
Beastie Boys- SLOW and LOW (Damnit now I have to open up iTunes)
Beastie Boys- Intergalactic
Beastie Boys Remote Control
Beastie Boys- Sabotage
Rage Against the Machine- Pistol Grip Pump
Rage Against the Machine- How I could Just Kill a Man
Just about every other song by Rage
Notorious B.I.G.- Party and Bull****
Pantera- Walk
Bumblebeez81- Pink Fairy Floss
Hieroglyphics- At the Helm
House of Pain- Jump Around
House of Pain- Put Your Head Out
Rakim- Don't Sweat the Technique
Run DMC- It's Tricky
Bumblebeez81- Microphone Diseases

Some 90's punk would work well.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - It would be truly awesome if PD got ahold of some bands and recorded all the songs in the "Modify real songs and make them GT related" thread. Just imagine listening to classic songs rewritten to fit right into the game.

Oh, yeah, I love these music wishlists... :dopey:

Linkin Park - Faint
Linkin Park - Breaking The Habit
The Faint - GlassDanse
The Outline - Shotgun
SlipKnot - Duality
Kazzer - Fueled by Adrenaline
The Buzzhorn - Ordinary
Billy Talent - Red Flag
Yellowcard - Way Away
The Automatic - Monster
Golden Earring - Radar Love

EDIT: Forgot to mention:

The Donots - Saccharine Smile

The only way to listen to that one is with headphones on, and at full volume!

-> Since music is not really a huge factor I'm looking forward to, I may have very few suggestions so the next time I'm playing a GT game I won't have to turn the music FX all the way down.

1. Prodigy - Firestarter
2. Prodigy - Breathe
3. "Any music from Ayumi Hamasaki's Ayu-Trance"
4. "Any music from Move"
5. "Some music from Initial D"
6. "All trance music from Wangan Midnight series"
7. "Some tracks from Dance Dance Rovolution series"

^ Or as much as possible, we can upload some of our music downloaded/uploaded from websites/MP3/WMA/CD onto our PS3 so we have OUR OWN customized music selection jukebox, "our game, our music, our GT". (:

I already do something like that. PCTV for the visuals and SFX, winamp for the BGM. The sounds all come from the same speakers, and when the road doesn't demand too much attention - long straight/pitstops - I can adjust my music selection on the same screen. It makes for a whole new experience when you can switch mid song from Offspring to R.E.M. for a slow victory lap.

Please PD, for all those unable to do as I do, allow them to upload their own music selections.

all 1100 songs in my music library on my computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (well maybe not all of them, some wouldnt be good racing songs, like the stuff from the South Park movie :P)

I would think by now PD would allow you to play music from your PS3 HDD so hopefully you can have any tune you want! :)

How bout Aerosmith - Sweet Emotion for those replays of you doing Seattle (reverse) flying over the crests of the hills (just like the end of the Starsky and Hutch movie)!

I would love to have Start the commotion by the 'Wise Guys'. I have posted a video of the song below. May I ask peole to ignore the weird bit with that chinesse girl at the end though, I have no idea why it's there. But I did'nt make the video, so why would I... I'll shut up now!

I want to see all the previous game's soundtracks in GT5. I mean, with Blu-Ray, they definitely can do it. And also, Jambi by Tool. It's fiery.
