Time verification:
Save your replay and keep it at least a full week after the time has been submitted:

  • any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide a replay before the next race deadline
  • failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from WRS results
  • video replays are not accepted, only .max, .xps or .sps files can be verified

Like the concrete all over the track is not part of the track.

Only tarmac and rumble strips are track.👍
 
This is probably really stupid but I might be stuck in the pits all week as I can't find this car anywhere :grumpy:
I've checked in GT Mode, not there. I've ofcourse checked Arcade garage etc no luck :grumpy:
The nearest I get is an RS'03 version
Any suggestions?

:dunce: I seem to have a problem w/ this weeks Evo
I am parked in the GT garage in the car but I can not find it any other way in any other menu, gt or not, ive checked all showrooms (3) and all of Japan and tuner menus, hopefully this is just my stupidity :dunce:
is there a way to save this as a fav from the gt menu ?
I asked Chuk but he's puzzled also
 
I just bought mine and got in right away. They are playing tricks on you. It shows up on my game in the arcade "By Era" menu under 1999.

Nope. The yellow striped areas are always considered track. :)
 
Ooooh, sounds like the trail braking snap oversteer that this track in this direction causes with these 4wd rally cars is going to be even MORE fun this week.

Definitely going to squeeze some more time into this one. :)

well, can't seem to sleep tonight. must be the weather. just saw a 19.105, but then grazed the wall. might brew that coffee after all.

Hey Kenny and anyone having trouble getting the car. Mr. P. was kind enough to offer a gamesave with 988 cars. It has been my experience that this save is the best one to have, because it has the cars that can only be won, as well as those that can be bought. It saves valuable time when you need it, so I keep that on one card and my personal gamesave [obviously nowhere near it!!!] on another. I'm not quite computer literate enough to provide a link, but I'm confident that one of those capable people will help direct anyone who needs further help. I will go and search the threads to see the last time he posted it, but it was not long ago.

The save you have, Kenny, only has 850 or so cars on it, and that's why I made Jake leave us the best save. Now I'm too excited to sleep, it's already 3:30 a.m., and the weather is currently freezing rain/sleet for the next four days, to be interrupted by snow. I'm brewing the coffee.

Right knee is about the size of a small football today. :ouch: In fact it feels like their playing football in there. :scared:

One tail happy beast we have on our hands this week. I put in some decent laps last night and this morning before work. I think I would have to agree that this is the most fun/challenging car and track combo since the Mini @Autumn Ring.

I first thought I would prefer using the same tires for all wheels, but after trying this I found out this is very fun and addicting: a lot of drifts can help improving laptimes and it's almost impossible to get a perfect lap.

You're right, I noticed it too and edited it.
And now that you mention it, I've always had a trick to remember its correct name. If you've read Tolkien (or seen the Lord of the Rings movies), you know Mount Doom, and well, both doom and trial are linked to the idea of judgment, so in a certain way Mount Doom and Trial Mountain share the same name.
Ok, that's a bit far-fetched, but well, it works fine for me :dunce:

This is no easy drive and I think I might struggle keeping up this week as it progresses going by everyone's splits so soon ... anyway here's my best after a good 90 mins of racing 18.882 / 41.619 / 1'12.225 not really my cup of tea these slippy combo's but I had some spare time and thought why not :)
I will say that turn 1 gave me more problems than I've had in a while with any combo .. must have taken me a dozen attempts before I got it reasonable and another dozen before I got it at a good speed :P ... Thats just turn 1 ffs!!

Finally a track that I'm somewhat familiar with!
From what I see in the comments, the car is tricky to handle, but I'll give it my best shot anyways.
Had to spend most of the night working on someone's PC (what are the odds?) and actually spent about three hours without Internet access (horrors!), but the wife is out of town until Thursday, so it is definitely on this week. Will post some splits tomorrow.

BTW: Where can I show that I use a wheel instead of the Playstation controller?
