Time is limited this week...stupid work....always getting in the way :yuck: lol.

Jerome

Very nice combo this week Sjaak,

Was hoping this night to make some laps, but getting sick:drool: this afternoon so i'm getting to bed and try to get better so hopefully tommorow goes better.

See you guys

georgetheracer mountains are good things! 👍

I live on one with a healthy stock of woodford reserve but, if you've been hanging around with Chuk you already know that.:crazy:

Originally from your state. North central just south of Springfield. Went to school in West Htfd. Retired squid.:sly: Oh yea almost forgot.

t1="19975"
t2="42727" (yea I duped that number)
t3="74489"

I've seen low 19's low 42's and a 73 all of which were stuffed somewhere along the way. :ouch:

Sjaak, this is a fun combo but.................she's a real handful. :nervous: Just like a women with a fat arse, she's liable to park it anywhere.:guilty: apologizing in advance if I offended anyone. :dunce:

Wasn't sure if I'd get along with this tyre combo to begin with, but it's kinda fun! :mischievous:

First clean splits from a 10 lap session:

T1 19.110
T2 41.917
T3 1'12.550

t1="19975"
t2="42727"
t3="74489"

May I ask you guys what are these numbers for?
Are these the splits in thousands of a second?
Are they the final results or not?

Lol... So, here's the story:

I brought my two memory cards over to my buddies(teb74, who SHOULD be poking his head in here) house to play over there, and brought one back. The one I brought back is the one that has my game save on it. The one I left at his place was my uber save so he could play with cars that he doesn't have. Well, I seem to have misplaced the memory card I brought back with me... DANGIT!

So now I'm stuck with my roommate's game save that is like 12% done and has no money. Tonight I've been racing around with an old Skyline in the Japanese series, fighting to get the lead. I managed to snag a win, and walked over to the used car sales lot, and saw a shiny new TME Evo with my name on it, because no '99 GSR was to be found. As soon as I buy it, a '99 Evo GSR pops up for sale, and I have 7000. And now it's time for bed!

I'll get it tomorrow, and finally start racing again!

Blah blah blah, yeah, you were bored, you wanted to read all that nothing. :) Race on!

Oi Lazlo those are just our T's in "easy" format for luxy. Like your T3 is a 1.14.489 so we post it as t3="74489".

These T's are not the final results, we submit our complete lap times to sjaak on mondays for him to post the unofficial results.

Hope that helps, oh and welcome to the WRS:tup:

Ok, first session just yesterday evening. not enough time to reach my usual excellent performance (...)
That car seems like a boat, sliding and rolling all the way. maybe it was due to wrs 136, addicting me to a car stuck on the ground like ABT.
Anyway, I had to turn asr on, just to enjoy some laps.
And Luxy will be happy to see moaibob third-last, as usual.

t1="20244"
t2="44302"
t3="75605"

Going to receive my DFP next week. Who knows, i could improve my performance...

it's like clemens said. we maintain the during-the-week section times (t's) in a leaderboard called 'luxy' after the wrs member that set that function up quite a while ago. a few weeks ago, as one of the luxy updaterers, i asked wrs members if they wanted to help by also posting their t's in luxy format. your line for this week looks like this:

<driver name="GTXDriver" division="3" controller="9" ><lap t1="19975" t2="42727" t3="74489"/></driver>

the '9' means that i don't know yet what controller device you are using (ds2 or wheel).

race on!

Steve... it looks quite amazing that GTXDriver and gtbadboy made the same identical splits to the 0.001. I am afraid that GTX didn't post his splits but just quoted gtbadboy.

[/moaibobscope] :lol:

Well not all of us. I prefer to post my splits in a format that is readable for the human eye. Should we also give up on punctuation, if it turns out that some application needs that? :scared:

I understand the updaters prefer an easy copy-paste format, but it's just a programming issue to make the applications adapt to the human instead of vice versa. :sly:

So it's of course 1'14.489 all the way. 👍

<driver name="GTXDriver" division="3" controller="9" ><lap t1="19975" t2="42727" t3="74489"/></driver>

From the Acceptable Use Policy:

No slang words that promote laziness, ie; "r", "u", "plz", etc. will be tolerated. Decent grammar is expected, including proper usage of capital letters. ;)

NielsG: you're a man after my own heart. 👍 Must be my age but with the exception of the mis-spelled word now and again, I'm not a big fan of "internet shorthand.":grumpy: Onward!

Yes,that's right,these are gtbadboys' splits.I've never ever heard so similar lap times. :dunce:
I didn't remember my splits in the morning,I need to see the replay to get them right...I was just curious about the meaning of the numbers but I had an idea about them.
Anyway,thanks for the information. 👍

I have seen this for a few weeks now,
and it is no contribution at all for the race threads.

Unreadable while this is so long I can remember a forum.:sly:

Normal posting of the splits must be enough.

There for ,Bigracer,it has to stop, no more advertising and spamming how people should post.

I'm having alot of trouble with the hairpin after t2 for some reason, 3rd gear peeeel outs really piss me off, especially when I lift or shift to 4th and the wheels keep on spinin' :P anyway, fun combo Sjaak 👍

19.157 / 41.765 / 1'12.386

I've had some 18.x's and some better t2's so just a matter of geting that hairpin down and I'll be happy.

i was only trying to make the more-than-once-a-day-every-day churn more simple for us luxy updaterers.

:ouch:

well, you´re the boss ...

Okay, so knowing the track isn't good enough to lift me out of my normal placement in the leaderboard. :) Just goes to show that I need serious work in my driving technique, so I must spend more time in the license areas, I think that achieving gold times there must teach you good habits.

Times so far: (and probably the best I'll be able to get)

T1: 19.662
T2: 43.288
T3: 1' 18.042

Some splits from me:

T1= 19.019 T2=41.558 T3= 1'12.112

I have two small mistakes in this lap...
I had a little wheelspin right before T2 and a downshifting into second gear before T3. :nervous:
Anyway this is a clean lap.Maybe I'll try to correct these mistakes,we will see...
My first WRS race was great fun.Thank you gentlemen! 👍

Those are nice splits lazlo. dont think any of us have the perfect lap this week, the car just wont comply. l know that on my best lap i shifted from 3rd straight to 5th just after the hairpin but i think i cought her in time.

Are you using the Logitech G25? :drool:

Is it just me, or does this thing seemingly have an open rear diff? :con: Massive amounts of one tire fire.

Other than that, its fun to drive. I'll see what I can manage over the weekend.

another wake-up @ 3:00 a.m.; brewing coffee; racing on

There are some fast drivers here this week, including a few I haven't seen before. Welcome to all!!!👍 :cheers:

I am still hopeful for today's racing. The "powers that be" in our town are making us retro-fit an electronic grease-trap into the restaurant, so today is almost a day off. That means a day ON the track!!! :) I know I can make a good run at the D2 leaders, but it will take all I have.

Yesterday's best splits are very decent for me:
T1= 19.060 T2= 41.773 T3= 1'12.595 BUT that lap is slower by a mere couple of thousandths due to that wonderful chicane!!! :ouch:

I took the chicane fast so many times I forgot to respect it. :dunce:

So here's to a wonderful week-end of racing!!! :cheers:

Good luck to all and Race ON!!!

Tarmac rally!!! This is fun, it's sorta like rally practice, although with excessive inside rear wheel spin, kind of like my Volvo right now...

Ya gotsta treat it with respect! Think really oversteery, especially under braking FWD car. Sort of. Minimal steering when accelerating(and braking, with these tires), etc... You have to wait for the wheels to stop spinning(almost all the way) before you can put down the power. :P And/or transfer weight back to that side of the car before hitting the go pedal(button) again.

Not seemingly, there's NO way it has a limited slip with that much attitude, haha. Just imagine how much fun it'd be to drive if it did have one though, coupled with the hard tires in the back... :mischievous: Nice powerslides that don't give up too much speed... mmmmm

But yeah, it's still a hoot to drive!

After 20 min or so I'm only down to a 1'12.8(clean), but can see a 1'12.5 in there for me after not too much longer, I hope.

Show of hands for who is using aids please? I'm not, but maybe it's beneficial?

EDIT: In the leaderboard, Erik(arora) is listed as in Division 2. That sucker's been too quick for too long to still be there... ;) (Good job Erik!!!)

EDIT2: Concrete immediately inside of the red/white rumbles are considered NOT part of the track, correct?
