The F40s engine bay just can't be touched.. It just can't. I want to see cockpit shots of the F40. The tuned GT is sick.. the Amuse 2300 is sick.. Nomuken's URAS ER34 is sick.. I can't wait for an AE86.

@ amar & legroom

I think that really sucks. If you want to use this feature go spend even more money .

Oh well not long to go before we find out for sure

You what would have been nice ( not that the new stuff isn't nice ) is if PD would have added a Rally course. I really can't wait to see what they do with that.

Do you mean "if you want to use this feature go spend even more money" as we should go and buy the wheel if we want to use this feature?

OR

it sucks that we'd be expected to go and spend even more money in order to be able to use the feature?

Also, in reference to my earlier theory about how buttons could be mapped on a DS3. I've just been looking at the images of the DFGT and working a few things out... All of the functions should be able to be mapped onto a controller around any common existing button configuration in GT.

To be quite honest, I'm a bit afraid of PD bringing back rally courses. They're nice, but they don't exactly feel like a real rally does. I'd really like to see PD create a real rally circuit as in a real world location with a real rally that takes place on it.

But more as a quick answer to amar's post.

I personally don't see that being the case though. Maybe there will be a way of using pre determined settings like F1.
3 setting per car

that's cool. I just wondered because when i read it it wasn't 100% clear.

'tis a bit pants if that's the case, but there's not much can be done about it if there's not the option to map them onto a normal controller.

Just going to have too put up the cash for a DFGT or shut up....either way the money will get spent, the girlfriend is like an incredibly accurate guided weapon when it comes to getting hold of the contents of my wallet!

Oh a real Rally course from WRC would be awesome. Your right about that, the current Rally events doesnt feel like a real Rally.

you mean this ?

Yes mate, I meant that one.

And for the mappin' throught he DUAL SHOCK 3: since those settings doesn't emerge on "pause" screen, I think it's just about one single button to enter to that menu and then use R1/L1, or R3/L3 to adjust, I mean... not so usefull buttons. Would have non-sense if Polyphony Digital makes that only available for a single wheel. In fact, the only restricted in the game are the LEFT/RIGHT views in cockpit view, and they are even available not only for DFGT but all the steering wheels. On the other hand.. it's a quite difficult think to adjust on real time through a DUAL SHOCK 3 maybe but it's just more important than a LEFT/RIGHT view... so who knows u_u

Those screenshots don't do the game justice..they seem kind of low res, especially the guages....but I can just imagine what they actually do look like in game........and oh my lord......amuse s2k...omg omg....somebody throw something at me!

Let`s hope that we can modify the button settings on the DFP, so we can change parameters during the race, also the horn :)

Anyway I think I will buy a DFGT.

I can't see it being applied through the pause menu. That would make the game far to disjointed.
As for the LEFT/RIGHT not being as important. I guess that comes down to personal preference. I use it alot racing online so I know where people are sometimes the rear-view isn't enough.

Maybe if you use the sticks you can remap the buttons and vice versa if you use buttons.
Only time will tell.

Sorry mate, I dit an EDIT on my post before and I deleted that. I was on an error, it's not through "pause" so due to that I edited my post. Unfortunately you quoted it before the EDIT. Please take a look :nervous:

About the LEFT/RIGHT, I didn't meant it wasn't important... just not as important as a real-time config. for example under weather changes. But in my honest opinion: yeah, I love the LEFT/RIGHT views and I see then quite useful specially for the online mode & clean races. Maybe I didn't explain it properly before o the lastest post.

I wanna see cockpit views of the 512BB and F40, dammit.

Seriously these are awesome. I must now change my underwear again.

Arggggghhhhh! So...far...away... Damn you PD for making me wait!

Great pics guys! just about less then two months of wait to go !
Good thing I pre ordered a copy already!

i've seen word of a a gt5p + ps3 bundle in australia. Had a look at a store called gametraders and they have a bundle listed for 699. So looks like ps3 is getting a price drop aswell

offtopic: Hey Jp is that you on your avatar? ehehe thats crazy..

Wow, High Speed Ring looks so much different than the GT1/2 version and even the GT4 version for that matter. It looks a lot more like a real track now.

haha yeh it is me. Was while i stripped out the interior in my car to redo it all (going from standard grey dash etc. and fabric seats to black with black leather seats. same design as the cl63 concept)

then got bored and added a "bucket" seat and some nos :D

Agreed.:)👍 I can't wait to see what they can do to some of the other cars with their race car concepts.

Speaking of which, I wonder if they're going to do some of the cars as Le Mans Concepts. If so, will they be making them to the rules currently in place by the ACO? And/Or will some of the older Le Mans Concepts be updated to comply with the current specs?

I think the same question can apply for when they make their car(s) of choice for the purpose of taking part in some of the other racing forms and leagues as well.
