Depends where you pre ordered it from. As that can be cheaper than PSN.
As for swapping disc you gotta get out of your chair sometimes you know :).
And you'll miss the Beyond the Apex video which is only going to be available on the disc version.

But ultimately the choice is yours.

Just to move away from THE FERRARI'S  if i dare.

I'm looking forward to the time trial round HSR

thanks. i decided to go for the disc version

Amazing, really.

There's like a low-resolution floor for the Ferrari F40 imagesn, isn't it?

I love how the engine looks through the window... a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

These screenshots, wow! I can't update the GTPlanet news blog fast enough! However, I don't think anyone else has pointed out the image which shows what appears to be the car setup controls (which you can use while you're driving) made available with the new Logitech wheel...

Lost in the plethora of pleasure, can't blame anyone really.

Nice find Jordan! Any idea what the second line could mean? Does it say "4WD tq" (4 wheel drive torque) probably? That'd be choosing where to send the power, right?

Now let's hope all the locations mentioned on the screenshots will be tracks in the full GT5 game :)
I spotted Zolder on one of them, now hope Spa also turns up on one of them ;)

Very true Jordan!

With the new feature to allow in game TC/ Brake balance tweaks etc, there's also the potential to allow control of diff settings, like the tarmac, gravel and snow settings on the Impreza and Evo or Audis magnetic suspension system.

This would be especially good as the majority of us won't be using TC, ASM, ABS etc anyway! What do people think?

IF there is no changeable wheater during the race, say it starts raining in the middle of the race, then no, I won't be using any of those settings.

It's not good that prologue is coming out when i'm supposed to be studying for 2 exams :nervous::ouch:
That means I just have to study harder BEFORE it comes out ;)

Yeah would be good. Just wondering how the button mapping will work if you're not using the new Logitech wheel

Let me see.. I want to have the feature that will make you buy the new hardware.. Answer is... will not work without the wheel ;D

Yeah, that's the one thing that's got me concerned. Making those tweaks mid race on a DS3 could be a bit of a pain. I suppose the best way would be to map steering to either the D-Pad OR the Left Stick, with the other allowing the adjustment to be made. ie. Up and down on the D-Pad to scroll through adjustment types with left and right then performing the adjustment on the slider.

In the cockpit view, the right analogue stick could be used to allow a smooth rotation of the head from left to right with down as the rear view. The L2/R2 triggers could be an alternative with the level of input (how far the trigger is pulled in) determining the angle of head movement.

If there's not way of implementing these things on the DS3 i'll have to consider getting a DFGT despite not really having the space to have it or the ability to keep it set up all the time.

nope, but torque diff between front and back aswell brake bias would come in very handy....:sly:

WOuld be ideal if you could use a sixaxis together with your wheel, and use that for controlling the settings
