I still can't get over how awesomely insanely great that 22B looks like, Adrian.

The cleanup is really amazing, almost cartoon-like, but without losing realism and lighting. Nice touch on the plate and tones are gorgeous.
The smashed Integra, like you said, was more of a test with some new brushes and techniques, so it's ok if it doesn't look that good.
On the new GT-R shot, I really much prefer the colored verion, since you've captured the yellow tones very nicely, and the whole cleanup job you did stands out more than on the B&W version.
Could use a bit of cropping on the lower part of the image to 'lower' the car a bit on the frame and lose some of that big white area.
But it's a great image and some quality work there, very nice to the eyes. 👍

thanks guys for the kind words. they're much appreciated. now time for TVR&FF's Subaru Impreza remix.notice the dark headlight cover the textures were just so bad (on the headlights) that i just decided to darken it and make it look like the car has headlight covers on it. hope you guys like this one.

thanks jaymie. glad you liked it. though looking back, i still think the headlights could of been so much better. i kinda regret blacking them out. oh well. this next update is a tribute for all of the people that have helped me the whole time and made me develop my skills. i owe you guys a lot, and for those who visit my gallery whenever i have a new update. This one's for all of you.
This was originally taken in Seattle, i've always wanted to do this kind of shot since i saw a member turn the trial mountain course into night time (was it krame or slipztrem?)
so this is mostly built around inspiration. click the top and bottom of the preview pic so you could be able to see the version with the rain effect and the one without. hope you guys like it 👍

thanks guys 👍 as for tutorials i dont think it's necessary as it's pretty basic, and you can always search 440's or other people's tutorials around the forum, that's what i did. i just use surface blur and the smudge tool, and then the dodge/burn tool. and yes i do think that was my best update so far. and it took much less time than the 22B, because i did that tvr right after i did tvr&ff's remix 👍 it's unfortunate it's not winning the artistic comp week 3, but i'm losing to alex, so i guess it's okay. now i have here my entry for the week 4 of the Artisitic Competition, this time with the theme 'Colors'. i hope this entry suits the theme, i might change it later on. enjoy

That Pao shot is trippy, it suits the theme very well. Great colour.

here's another nissan pao. the only car i have in gt4 right now since i dont have my ps2 anymore
so that means all my save data are gone. oh well. can always start over again, but i hope PD giddy's up with the new photomode. here's the new update, enjoy. It's from the same series as the one i used for my latest comp entry. But i think this one's so much better. 
I decided to add TVR&FF's remix of his aston martin. i cant really find anything else to do with it since it already looks good. oh well. here it is.

I like it man. It's a high contrast shot. Every one interprets how great a "rain shot" is differently. I think you did an awesome job.

ATP: the rain swords were supposed to be a part of the stock photo, as sent by TVR&FFFan. not really a fan of that photo, but all i ever did was desaturate the photo and then added his (tvr's) rain effects and incorporated them with clear brush strokes. i dont know. .like i said i couldn't really think of anything to do with it. i dont know if you two checked the fullsize view or not. whatever. i dont think a lot of people liked that update anyways. let's move on. time now to show off my Subaru Impreza Premium sports coupe, otherwise known as the 22B. this is such an awesome car. very fast and handles very well. can't remember if it was richard burns that drove the rallye car to a championship title, or was it makkinnen? anyways, i'm so happy that it was very successful, well relatively to the older tournaments that i joined before. this reminds me of facing off with bram turismo and beerzgood in the past tourneys. good times. right, here's the pic, and hope you guys enjoy this one, as it took 3 versions and one week to finish this off ( i was working on and off). just wanna thank everyone that voted for it.

Starting with the R34, all those details are very nicely done. Lights are the most difficult part to manage, it easly can change into a very irreal chopped thing, but this is not the case. I can say the same looking at the 22B.
The Speed 12 featuring the north pole and the warm hell is also one of your best ever. The colorfull fog gave a very spectacular touch to a basic photo, it's fantastic. I'd love to know how to add that sort of effects one day
And finally the PAO are funny to see, the tones fairly meet all together. Shiny crappy cars are always great, like they were new, something difficut to see as they are crap

Alex: i agree about the shiny crappy cars. they do have to start somewhere. i think it would make a really cool display (the real thing) in a really trendy place, like a clothing store. as for the gt-r, it was a hard one alright. i almost gave up on it remember ?
and for the speed 12, i believe i already told you that online. very simple really. but i never would of thought of ever using that photo. i just cleaned it up, and suddenly the ideas started popping out of my head. anyways, on to the next update. i was trying to inspire myself tonight, which is happenning slowly. Listening to Tiesto just gets all these ideas come along. anyways, this new update is another installment to the Mercedes Benz Patent Wagon i did before, from the same batch. wish the tournament was a german car theme instead. i should have some new photos tomorrow to work on after i cheat my way in gt4 again with a new save data on the ps3
This week i will be featuring two artists from deviant art, and will be using their work and remix them (and no i'm not using their work for the tournament), so stay tuned.

On to my new update, which is my tournament reject. there's a few of them, but i think i'll just post this one and save the rest. i drove the sunfire gxp concept car to get the cars i wanted. it sucked. the thing can't even climb up hill. i eventually got enough cash after bullying the sunday cup and the ff races. not doing that race with that car ever again!!!

wow Jg! Lovely mirrored shot, I think you nailed it. You should turn that into and Elise ad one day. That'd look awesome. I like the motion blur you did on the second shot. Trying to fly off the barge eh?
