after a long sabbatical, i'll be posting my 1st ever gt4 update on monday, or sooner, since my last update months ago so stay tuned!

in the meanwhile, check out my new updates at my deviant art page, by clicking on my signature below. see you all soon!!!

sorry about the long wait, the snow and the busy holidays hampered my chances of getting to my friend's house and getting my pc upgraded. it's there now, so hopefully in a few days i'll be able to take it home. how's everybody doing ? i sure miss being here. and am glad to be updating again. i had to put up with a stupid pontiac coupe in the game to cheat my way in the rallye race of gt4 just to get credits. but it's sold now so i guess i can just continue to race that to get enough credits to buy more cool cars :D the yellow type r i was famous for is back ! updates will be coming soon after i get my pc home. hope everyone's had a great christmas! mine was okay, i ripped off the front bumper of my car after trying to get out of the snow grrrr!! that was not fun at all. anywho, here's my new update! i have a feeling being back here will also help me in real life photography. i'll be entering my first competition here in vancouver. we'll see how that goes. i'm sure they'll kill me. good to be back here, and hope to hear from you all ! I also ask you guys and girls to come check out my deviantart gallery and see what i've been up to the whole time i've been away from photomode!
don't let this be another snooze fest or i'll leave this planet for good! thanks :P

awesome Adrian! GLad to see you are back. Can't wait to see the type r! Sorry to hear about your car in the snow. Talk to you more later!

Now that I like! A very interesting comeback if I may say!

TBH, I didn't know what to make of your image the first time I saw it, but upon closer inspection, I like what you have done.

The lighting is superb, and gives me a real sense of what it would feel like to stand in the same position as the camera. I particularly like the detail of the bamboo's in the front right, the way the light shines on the outward parts, and filters through to the rest is excellent. 👍

Great stuff, keep 'em coming! 👍

lol, I had to take my time to understand what was in that photo. That's good for a phototravel scenery! I said a lot of times my first rule for that kind of images, and that angle is far never seen before. The tall framming and useful&simple postproduction are very nice from you!

Hope to talk with you soon too.

Thats beautiful alright!! Great lighting all over!! The realistic feeling is all there:)
Good luck entering the real life photography contest, I´m sure you can make magic on there too:tup:
Now, don´t even think on leaving GTP...your work is always welcome!

thanks everyone. that's like one of my very first shots after not touching photomode for a long time. and i was experimenting with the wide angle lens, which i really, really want to get. unfortunately i have to wait until i get a new computer (preferably a mac pro:D). anyways, here's a simple update for now. i was gonna use it for the cccl, but i forgot it has to be in cote d' azur. so i'll just post it up here while i work on a few other updates, which will require a lot of time. here it is, enjoy.

i didnt really use any tools or clean up here, as i don't wanna take too much time at my friend's computer. just layer adjustments and a bit of color balance and hue adjustments. really simple. then i cropped it to give it a panoramic widescreen look.

magburner and alex : the shot is inspired by one of my real life photography shots. though it wasn't with a wide angle lens :( well, 18mm.. but not even close. i actually took it in landscape mode, but i resized it to portrait mode to give it an abstract appeal. glad you both appreciate it somehow. i was nervous that no one will ever see thru it. i'm glad you both did.

That one looks awesome, JGDA9RS 👍 I'm going to look this thread up for the next update.. Every new update is better than the one before ;)..

Best wishes,

S-Line Audi Fan

thanks ! i do have a few in store, just haven't had time to really work on them, infact this new update is still a work in progress. my pc still isn't ready yet, but hopefully soon.
like i could of easily spent an hour on this picture, but i figure i should do a great job of it. so here it is. suggestions are very welcome as well..

The Punto has something special on it...starting by its wide look!!! And the car color, very vivid!! Thats a Jg job alright:)

The Impreza, you can start by cleaning...that bumper can look better, and you know it. More color is welcome too and if you can manage to sharp the car a bit more (like the Honda shot you have in 2.0 comp), you will have a fancy shot alright:tup:

this has to be my very first update done with Corel Paintshop Pro Photo X2. i'm still getting used to it. let me know what you guys think. I also included my PMC Week 158 comp entry, which is not that great btw. as soon as i figure things out with the new program, i'll release the subaru preview update in a final version. thanks for viewing and comments are welcome.

The full sized shots are good Jg, but the previews are a bit "thin" if you know what I mean.
I like both shots, the 1st is packed with action and great mood, the 2nd one is one hell of a scenery shot, great use of colors there:tup:

Loving the scene shot J! 👍

However, you seem to have the same problem as NTX in his shots in your last shot; deforming. I really do not like the effect, even if the monotone colours are nicely done :)

i have been looking around your gallery, especially some of the older ones, and i have to say, i love your work....i might even go as far as to say, its some of the best i have seen so far. especialy the 190E on the wet tsukuba track....it was stunning

thanks, that's really nice of you :) you saw the 190E, that only means you went thru every page of my gallery! that's awesome. man i dont even know what page it's at if i tried to look for it. but i'm glad you liked my work. if u wanna see more, you can always click on my signature below and check out my gallery on deviant art.
thanks again! 👍

C-ZETA, Bram, Alex, Nuno: Thanks for dropping by. glad you all liked the tokyo city shop. that's my very first one with the corel paintshop pro, which i gladly got rid of last night, and installed photoshop again. anyways the second photo was a result of lens correction gone bad, and the stock photo just wasn't good enough anyways. and then i resized the image, which Did Not help at all. so goes the story. basically it was just a make shift entry for the pmc comp. to be honest, i really don't know why i did such a thing.

David48: Thanks for pointing that out. otherwise i never would of noticed. I can't believe my gallery has made it this far.

now on to my new entry.

i shall explain the second pic from my last update in the near future. i need to go to sleep. enjoy the new update.

thanks folks 👍 that was originally my entry for the 2.0 week 95, decided to change it, since i found it rather bland after working on this new update. so here it is. enjoy everyone.

ps: i reverted the aspect ratio to standard sizing, hope it looks better. it did look distorted when i had it in a sort of a widescreen look. i hope it looks better this time around.

Clean and crisp, though, again, the car is deformed. Loving the contrast and tones, and it seems like you're experimenting with some new stuff there. Excellent! 👍

*EDIT*

You are right Adrian, the deforming is only in the preview 👍
