Well, they (as in the NTSC people) are using EST (GMT-5 hours) and normally the race starts at 9.00pm EST.
If you can make it at that time, you can probably at least fill in for Lofasz for now or Z or whoever hasn't been turning up recently.

But otherwise, unfortunately the NTSC grid is filled up at the moment.

And damn the US for using so many copied names, its so confusing to read "Lebanon" I assumed it was the country

So that's tonight then? Who do I get the key from, and where are we racing? If I can't race is it possible for me to spectate? (Yeah, I'm the dork that likes to watch other people race sims)

You ever been to paris? Nothing like I imagined, lol

Paris isn't to far from me... Paris, Tennessee lol

Dude, why don't you just read the title post? You're asking some really dumb questions.

I apologize, I didn't realize it was posted there after skimming over it the first time.

Sorry, just reading back I thought you had been making more posts but it was actually other people as well as you confused about what was goin on. Sorry if I came accross as a bit crass there :indiff:

Just to let everyone know, I had a 3 year Argos warranty and the repair firm have written off the PS3 and the insurers have sent me £425 worth of Argos Gift Vouchers. 👍

I will be off to Argos tommorrow and will be getting a.........................wait for it......................................................Xbox 360. I have already ordered a Logitech DriveFX Wheel along with a copy of Race Pro, Forza 2, Fable 2 and Gears of War.

Are you insane? Surely in a couple of years the PS3 is going to have well overtaken the xbox 360. Besides this, now you won't be able to have GT5 once it is eventually released and what are you going to do with all your PS3 games? Just sell them I guess?

Spent most of the day playing with the 360 though.

If the 360 is new, the new Jasper chipset has reliability of any other electronic, and won't rrod unless mistreated.

Fishfash- Since it is live, we should be able to race together. My GT is there to the left. Race Pro is a lot of fun. That goes to anyone else in here that has a 360. The formula 3000 are a blast. :)

I am not sure if I will be able to make the race tomorrow, going to be at a family function and might not back back in time :scared:

Hey NTSC boys! :D Randy here, better known GTP_ranhammerR34 (aka super slow guy )... Anyway.. Practice for the French GP is being set up... Head to the R130 Room, titled GTP French GP Pra3... and the password is Nevers. See y'all there! :sly: Randy

Best of luck to all F1CE racers tomorrow at Magny Cours.I will check in tomorrow and see what you guys did.

BTW - I was sent a ups package track yesterday,I should be back in business in about a week or so,they warrantied my PS3,so when I get it back I'll be spending some time reloading all of my game saves and restoring all of the back-up data.Hopefully I'll get to join you all in some practice runs just for kicks.Once again , GOOD LUCK tomorrow guys. 👍

Sumpington I have a Jasper chipset, but I went for the Arcade version, see you online sometime :)

I am not sure if I can make tonight's race, if I get time to sort the PS3 out and set it up and do all the restoring etc....

Now that Daylight Savings Time has started up again, I think a clarification is in order. Do we race tonight at 9 pm EDT or 8 pm EDT?

Well for those of us residing in the United Kingdom, daylight savings doesn't start until Sunday 29th March, so for a lot of the PAL users, we don't need to worry about this for a few weeks.

I'm assuming 21:00 GMT which is 4:00 PM my time Central :)

You mean EST ;)
The NTSC races are done in EST, not GMT, because, obviously, the races are hosted by and driven by you lot in the US, and that was the agreed time to race.
In GMT terms, that would be 2:00am in the morning UK time.

It hasn't for us PAL users.
It depends on what you all find easiest to make, but for keeping it simple sake, leave it as 9pm EST.

Well I haven't had any network problems today. I think the network problems mainly occur when someone joins during a race.
Also, why are the AI on easy? On Medium, the AI only get about 1:21s at best and I don't think anyone will be getting those if they have had at least 5-10mins practice.

And good to know that you will be racing tonight :D. I am hoping for a close race, and judging by people's times I think it should be, although LewyOs hasn't been on but I think he will turn up. As for Fishfash, it would be nice to see him race again, although I was hoping for a good finish lol.

Because not everyone is great in the rain, if someone makes a mistake (albeit not huge) on Lap one, they shouldn't be racing the AI.

1. Shaggy
2. Kakundoo
3. Kingmart1n
4. LewyOs
5. Tom
6. Appie
7. Sureshot
8. Ardius
9. Burner

Fastest Lap: Kakundoo (1:16.586)

Good race, got 3rd on the grid from qualy, however at the start tom d came to close alongside and crashed into me, almost flipped my car, that would have been a first.

That and 2 penaltys meant I finished 4th.

:grumpy: I was punted twice...

My apologies to Shaggy for the smash. Span out and returned to the track backwards! :guilty:

I'm definitely going to have to put some more track time in, haven't played the game in months. Good race, but I hate the wet.

Another great race! :D

Qualifying went badly, I just couldn't put a lap together and could only achieve a disappointing 1:19.164! :(
I started 5th on the grid, right in front of me was a collision between Tom and LewyOs, instantly putting me into 3rd, which was soon taken by Appie when I went wide into turn 2. A couple of laps in I managed to get passed Appie and started to chase down King.
This wasn't easy, but I managed to get passed him after 5-6 laps but I think I nudged him off, so I waited for him after the hairpin and let him passed. I couldn't then get passed him for another 4-5 laps, but when I did I was happy :D.
I then managed to steal the fastest lap off of Shaggy by 0.014s, SORRY SHAGGY!
I think if the start of the race had have been better for me then I could have contended for the win, but oh well. Congrats on a flawless win Shaggy!

Also, I had an annoying collision with Burner about halfway through when I was lapping him for the second time. He spun in front of me and damaged my front wing. No real fault of his, but just thought i'd mention it.
