Seriously, the biggest whiner is yourself, except you're whining about whining people... :ill:

+100000 its as if you are having a go at his mom or something.

We are all entitled to express how we feel at the moment good or bad. we don't have a go at you for not minding you have to wait another 6 months - fair play to you Ii wish i was so laid back as you - that's a really good quality you have 👍, but the majority who will wake up this moring and read this will feel proper annoyed.

People who 'don't mind' waiting another 6 months for a game which should be out in time for Christmas are the minority I would of thought.:)

You know what I notice in that Gamersyde video? The racing driver isn't strapped in or buckled up!!! That is so dangerous! What if kids play the game see that the race drivers aren't buckled up and thinks it's okay to do so in real life? Think of the kids!, Kazunori!!!

Love how the people complaining are already making assumptions on what the Major Advancement is and its only day 1. Seriously, you guys are not making this any better.

There's no "Major Advancement" coming for TGS.

If you look at how it was used in the original quote, The term "Major Advancement" has been completely twisted and bent out of context by this thread.

I maybe wrong but who knows...
Let say that the real release date is Dec 2009.
Which advantages would have Sony declaring that news now? I can't think of any of them. They are going to release the PSP GO with GT and they are pushing a lot on it (it maybe a flop but they are betting on it).
Yamauchi works for Sony, they may have tell him to say a little lie for marketing purposes. Noone will blame this lie if at the end of October they are going to announce that GT5 will come out this year.

It's just a chance...

PD is used to have brand new car, even some that hasn't come out yet. So for what looks to me like a delay, they'll have to model new 2010 to be up to date and this will add to the workload ?

what do you guys think

Even if this is so, then we should expect a major presentation. A presentation which extends itself further than GamesCom.

If I may just make a point.

The same source that lists GT5 as 65% complete also lists God Of War III as 60%. Which also has a March release date. And that game will get a demo come November.

Calm down. I'm happy to wait myself.

Edit: That Gamersyde vid, blink and you'll miss the Enzo. I also wish Ravellron had woke up in a dictionary ;)

Haha, when I woke up this morning I somehow knew I was gonna be disapointed.

2010 release... of course! What were we thinking? I know, it's just a game, but it still bugs me when people say something which turns up to be a big lie, instead of saying something like "I can't tell yet". Kazunori that is, when he laughed at a 2010 release and told us it would be released much sooner than expected.

Good luck with getting the Forza fanboys quiet now! 👍

One more thing. As it's now delayed another 2 or 3 or 4 months, people's expectations on the game are gonna be higher, which means further disapointments.

Now, lets check out the good news of today.
  • Lamborghini Gallardo (Who gives a?)
  • Animated pit crews (Um... doesn't GT4 and millions of other old racing games have that as well?)

Where is the kick ass trailer!?

Well I'm too dissapointed to be dissapointed to be honest.:(

I can't believe that this is PD we're talking about here on the most biased GTforums in the world, and forum members are calling them a joke. How on world did this happen? I just don't understand, honestly!

I watched a HD video of a BMW in GTP yesterday and the concept trailer and then watched the Ferarri GT5 trailer about three times before I went to bed. I was at work today and couldn't wait to come home to see a great feature list, another great trailer and a playable GT5 build with limited content. And what on earth is this? I'm typing this and I still feel like it's some kind of prank, a cruel one though.

I posted 6 features that if GT5 has I would buy it and a PS3 Slim for Christmas. None of those features even confirmed, no trailer, no playable GT5 build and a 2010 release date? Come on! There has to be something positive.:banghead:

Yes, give us a demo with Gallardo, F458, SLS, ZR1 and Nordschleife. I will be fine with it until March.

March 2010 is the released date. But what does Kazunori do to release dates? he doesnt make them...

They March but I wouldnt be surprised if it comes out next summer, especially if they say they are only 65% done after 6 goddam years!!!!

What the hell are they doing?

I think the problem is we are taking 65% as gospel.

If their going to hit March they need to be around 90% and to be fair the magazine this information was gleaned from isn't gonna be accurate surely.

He's already listed the Modes that will be in the game, something that ambitious will be in the testing and polishing stages by now, right?

I wasn't aware that PD had been working on GT5 since 2003.. thanks for telling me... Just thought maybe they'd still be working on GT4 then seeing as it was released in end of 2004/early 2005... thanks for clearing that up for me though.

/end sarcasm.

didn't want to browse through 126 pages... but know the enzo is officially confirmed(probably already said)

I've made a separate section for cars spotted at TGS 2009. Any cars that are not seen at TGS 2009 will not be added here. There is a comprehensive master car list which verifies ALL GT5 cars seen during any time. This thread will focus on cars appearing at TGS which have never been seen.
