How to cope with the wait?

There a some good games coming out soon like bioshock 2, so instead of GT think of that game, then think of anothe good upcoming title. Remember time is relative and subjective matter and time is related to our mind. The more often you think of GT release the worse it will be, even a day can be very very long time. Outside of our mind, or when our mind is at ease there is no time, infact there is, but is irrelevant and not felt at all, it's running faster and faster.

I can't take it anymore! I've even had dreams of playing GT5. :boggled:

I HATE THOSE.

its all detailed, you even see a car you havent seen before full interiors, sittin in a home rig gripping a Heinie and a backwood while watchin te replay of whoppin your friends on the Rome circuit, the feel of the leather the smell of the greens, then you wake up and your like BAHHHHHH.

its not funny anymore charlie brown. i want gt.

How to cope witht he wait?
The answer to that is obvious.
Play Forza 2 and 3 lol.
No sense waiting around for it when you can pass the time playing an awesome game that is in my opinion better than Gran Turismo in almost every way. Of course since PD has been very quiet about the details of GT5, I can't say whether GT5 will rise above forza 3. But no matter what I know GT5 will be an amazing game.
All they need to do is make the cars sound like the real thing, skid marks, good damage like in forza or better, and physics as accurate as forza and it would be amazing.

i tried coping with the wait by buying GT5P and the DFGT. I've used both for less than 2hrs.

Seriously?

I've just got a DFGT and wheel stand pro and am playing GT5P again, it's like learning how to play the game again using the wheel.

You're obviously well into the GT series, how come you're not playing GT5P?

I don't know. I play it for a few minutes and then just stop. If I had more than 30 minutes of free time it would be different.

You really should play GT5P, much more fun than posting in this forum!

On a serious note...

Someone else mentioned rFactor, and here is why. If you have a PC and a wheel (Driving Force GT works, just d/l Logitech Gaming Software v5.08 and install), then go download rFactor from the website and pay the £25 ($40) fee for a product key. There are so many free mods for rFactor, cars and tracks (actual and fantasy) that we all keep hoping to see in GT:

  • Bathurst (Mount Panorama Circuit)
  • A1 Ring
  • Spa
  • Imola
  • Monza
  • Brands Hatch
  • Hockenheimring
  • Thunderhill
  • Watkins Glen
  • Road America
  • Silverstone
  • Sugo
  • Zandvoort
  • Magny-Cours
  • Sepang
  • Pikes Peak Hill Climb [among other hill climbs]
  • Teretonga
  • Autopolis
  • TI Aida (Okayama)
  • several touge routes
  • other F1 circuits

As well as some of those that are in GT:

  • Nürburgring
  • Laguna Seca
  • Suzuka
  • Fuji
  • Tsukuba
  • Indianapolis GP
  • La Sarthe
  • Circuit de Monaco (Monte Carlo GP)...

It isn't the same as GT, but it is a good experience, far better than trying to get by on an arcade racer, and it will definitely get you through the wait.

If you are a Rally man, then grab Richard Burns Rally £2.30 on Amazon UK or $10 on Amazon US.

I don't have the PS3 with me a school or work or at the library. So, right now, I can't.

unluckly! Doubt the library would be too impressed if you turned up with your DFGT to play rfactor

I'm in...what are we making?!

Originally when I posted that I was thinking of some sort of game involving racing cars but in another thread I just came up with the genius idea of 'Marshall Hero' where you play through the career of an air marshall working at airports, air bases and aircraft carriers and you guide planes in and out using the new PS3 motion controller.

Let me know how you get on:lol:

you can enter the granturismo prolouge race series in gtplanet really fun times there and it serves as a really good warm up to gt5

in case it is snowy in your area at the moment:
take your car, go to a big parking area on sunday when no one is there...and have a bit fun DRIFTING in the snow...
I did so...was quiet funy although my drive is only a FF...but handbrake helped...LOL

To answer the topic question....

I took up Origami... Its so peaceful and serene for the mind.... Who cares about GT5 when you can produce things like this from a piece of paper...

GT5? PPPPPPPFFFFTTTttTTttTt.... Whats that? ;)

Doesn't forza make you want GT5 even more. I haven't cared for GT5 til I started playing fm3.

Haha, definetly! I miss the dedication it took to win and buy cars in GT though, it just seems as though they hand you cars like candy in Forza. But i think GT5 will take up most of my time mainly for the vast number of cars and watching my replays haha.
