SPEC II

Just realised that the transmissions that i tuned will have to re-worked after my exams... ugh polyphony digital

heres a tip try and make the gears as close as possible and keep the speed as usual!

Aka put the top speed on VERY high then adjust the Transmission with the short guide above!

Hi, I don't want to sound like a noob here but can I ask why you don't use the rigidity improvement on most of your tunes?

A lot of the time, rigidity actually does more damage.
Although it will make the car more rigid, it also means the car can't move as well.
It will be more stable but will often give lots of understeer

Thanks for the info, Ive got it on all my cars, don't know if I can remove it now either

You can't, but one opinion doesn't quantify as proof.
Chassis Rigidity may add understeer, but only if you add it to a car/tune that was designed without it. If the car was designed with the rigidity in mind, then that hypothetical understeer has already been accounted for in the tune.

I use chassis rigidity because it seems to make the cars more consistent over a longer period of time, and also reduces the time between GT Auto Chassis Refreshment. But that's just my opinion, from my experiences. I believe if it had a measurable effect on lap times, that we would have already seen threads and threads about it.

I used to use rigidity improvement on most of my cars and now i seriously regret it because there are some cars you can't fully fix the understeer with a tune...... just make it better than before..... I wish you could remove it! :(

I was planning to do this as soon as I got decent at gymkhana which I am now! One tune is already finished and has been posted by Nismo34, I am planning to post two myself as well!

The First tune I will post will be RM'ed Subaru Impreza '05 which is based on Ken Block's 2006 Gymkhana tuned Subaru impreza!! The second tune will be the Ford Focus WRC 2007 based on Ken Block's Gymkhana Tuned 2011 Ford Fiesta

I am planning to release Project Gymkhana either at the end of this week or the beginning to the next!

Also on a different note I havent forgotton about the RUF Yellowbird.... That will be posted soon!

Hope You Enjoy!

Hmmm interesting! Gymkhana a lot of people asked about this and why it's not in GT5, but now that I see the picture with the tune it is possible! Maybe it deserves an own thread, not only for tunes but also for rules and tracks? I mean to create "offical" events, on where and how to drive on a track or license! I believe the slalom license it a perfect track where you can say, e.g. donut every second pylon or whatever... I'm not really into Gymkhana and haven't heard of that before GT5 ;) but it sounds fun!

I see online rooms for it. Where someone hosts a room on TGTT and has rules set up.

Ok, it was just an idea... to create something like GTP Gymkhana events, with leaderboards and so on... I still want/have enough other to do in the game, but maybe pick it up, when I'm bored 👍

I haven't actually looked, due to a lack of concern, but I assume if you browsed the GT5 Online Racing forum, there's probably a few groups that do that type of thing.

Basilea you could make the thread dedicated to Gymkhana if you want an official GTP one... It would be cool if had an actual Gymhkhana Track though!

Is there not a section in the drift thread?

The tune is great 👍 Although, I did change the Brake Bias (can't remember what, I did tell Dylan on PSN) and turned ABS OFF, allowing me to have more control at slow speed tricks like doughnuts ect
