@ CactusOnR - Thankyou for the wonderful review there mate. While the Accord didn't perform the best in the 500PP shootout thanks to being neutered so much, it was built to perform on all circuits rather than just Grand Valley and it showed with the improvement you gained over stock. đź‘Ť

Just send any of us a PM regarding what car you would like tuned and we'll send over a setting sheet for you or send a FR over via PSN if any of us have space and we'll build a car for you directly.

Thanks Maf,
I'll be trying out your eclipse tune tonight between racing the new seasonals.

Will post a review on Monday I might not spend as much time adding each part bit by bit but will do one of the races a couple of times before part, with parts and after tune and let you know how I get on.
Once I work out what I want tuned I'll let you know.

Just noticed Cooldude's ACR drag tune, Gold Chrome, makes me wonder who the driver of the GC ACR was that I edged out just before the end of the tunnel that one time, despite losing off the jump. :D

Well I tested the Honda Civic Type R - BTCC Edition set up by cooldude.

Took the car out as part of the FF challenge seasonal.
Ran the car stock with just Sport soft tyres added.

I was so impressed with how this car ran stock. I was getting round Deep forest in 1:32.xxx in 4 of the laps only outside of this time once in the 5 lap race, that was the start lap, slower due to traffic.

Ran the race again and got my lap time down to a 1:30.297. slip streaming could have helped achieve this time. with all other laps at the 1:32.xxx again. very consistent car. impressive base to tune from.

I added all tuning parts and took to the track again. it was over the PP limit so dropped the BHP to 236 = 450pp
this produced a faster car and reduced my lap times to to 1:27.781 for one lap 1:29.xxx for another lap up to 1:33.xxx for the third lap so it left me with an unstable car that was rather unpredictable.

added Cool's tune to the car at the same PP level and we interested to find it only beat my best un-tuned time by half a second 1:27.2xx
But all 4 fast laps were at 1:27.xxx with the out lap at 1:28.006 so the tune gave me a much more stable consistent car that I could rely on.

Then I let the full BHP loose on test track Deep forest. un-tuned I managed a 1:25.191 I was happy the Extra BHP made a reasonable difference. but the car was sliding with understear through the corners.
Added Cool's tune to the car and dropped the lap time by a second 1:24.243 and the understear was pretty much under control.

I was impressed, these monkeys had managed to keep the great handling and stability of the original car even after adding a shed load more power.

Once again Guys great work. Really impressed.

Hope you don't mind a less than average driver reviewing your tunes.
I'm sure the times posted by me would be greatly improved on by someone that can actually race properly.

Well the 2 grease Monkey Tunes I've tried so far have been great. I wish i had the time and knowledge to do tunes of my own.
For now I'll stick to the great tunes you guys do.

I'm never going to be able to give much advice more a review of how it drives for me and my driving style. I'll let you know once I've tried a few more.
looking forward to seeing what tunes you guys have in the "BIG BATCH"

Now, I've been putting it off for days due to illness (I have tonsillitis, yay!) but here it comes, Part 1 of THE BIG BATCH!! In 5......4......3.......2.........1.......

The Ford GT was the rebirth of Ford's glory days of Le Mans and in doing so brought a cult following to the 21st century. Initially called project Petunia, this was the deadliest flower to come out of Detroit in a long time. We monkeys have taken a few off their hands and worked them in our own ways. This particular tune is my personal Stage 1 tune which will take 95% of the field down, but won't touch the best of the best. It's more to help the beginner who is struggling to get back up to speed. Developing 875hp & over 100kg of torque, it's got a panache as it swoops around Vipers on the top end as it hits nearly 400km/h through the tunnel.

The GME Stage 1 GT Tune. Please drive irresponsibly with it. :mischievous:

The Ferrari Enzo is the ultimate expression of power and finesse combined. I've personally found this car to have a love/hate relationship with me, it loves making my adjustments look like garbage and I hate tuning it. But I persevered and have delievered my own Enzo that's worthy of wearing a GME badge. Based off a Stage 2 tune I developed, this will decimate nearly everything in it's path, excluding dedicated tuners and garage flagship cars. With it's 6.0L V12 popping out over 900hp in a car just over 1000kg, you know that you're in for a quick ride and it shows. You'll get over 400km/h from a standing start in the tunnel and power onto 414km/h for a top speed run from the hairpin. Once again, have fun by racing this against cooldude's Enzo tune for some close action. đź‘Ť

The Audi R8 is a breathtaking car in all aspects from my eyes. It's beautiful on the outside and gorgeous on the inside. The original 4.2 FSI was a wonderful sports car but then Audi shoved in the 5.2L FSI V10 that's normally in the Gallardo and gave us a wonderful supercar. This car is Genesis for GME in GT5, as I built this car way back in v1.00 to chase down Veyrons in races along SSR7 and to have tunnel drags all in one. It has stayed in this tune to this day, even though I could adjust the gears more and fit parts to it, it still whips people senseless, so enjoy this personal tune that I run day to day.

The GME Audi R8, German perfection gets a polish from the boss monkey.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R will always be known as Godzilla to most car lovers, and this NUR edition was the last hurrah for the R34. I decided that it would be a cardinal sin not to have this great beast tuned up the GME way, so here is a base tune that is sure to please. While this only has 773hp, it is a 0km car and has been tuned as a 0km car. It still whips cars that have that full 797hp, and this car will achieve that figure after 300km of driving, an oil change & engine rebuild, so don't think that because you have less hp that you have less of a chance in this beast.

The GME R34 Skyline.......Godzilla had no chance against this monkey's spanners. :sly:

The Mercedes SL has always been about showing off, that you have the money and power to buy and sell people at will. The SL600 was the best you could get unless you wanted AMG on your car. It was brought to my attention by a friendly spy that showed me the power that this car had, that it was a gem in the rough. Boy, was he right!! After throwing the spanners on one I picked up, I found 1025hp just oozing out of the 5.5L V12 Twin Turbo, enough to make the inexperienced driver crank out a german sausage in his pants. With this current tune I found myself doing 400km/h through the tunnel from a standing start and continued going to over 420km/h!! That's speeds a fully powered Veyron gets and shows this car to be not only a very capable wangan/autobahn runner, it gains the title of the ultimate sleeper, the best unspoken car in GT5.

The GME SL600, German for totally 🤬 fast!!

To many, the words TommyKaira don't come up too often in conversation about good cars in GT, but they should. The ZZII has for years been one of the pinnacle cars of Gran Turismo, being the speed king on GT4 reaching 380mph in the max speed test. This time they haven't gone as crazy but they haven't fully tamed this wild RB26 powered 4WD prototype from hell. With the car given a full overhaul, we got 743hp out of it and have an electric takeoff to match it's lightning fast looks. This tunnel tune will get you to around 370km/h without too much of a worry, and has been run by yours truly for a couple of months now.

The GME ZZII, Japanese performance taken to the extreme.

The Pagani Zonda is to 10 year old boys today as the Countach 25th Anniversary and Ferrari Testarossa were to me when I was 10, absolute car porn. It has been released in several guises including the Zonda C12, the C12S, the F, the F Roadster & the R, but the C12S 7.3 was the original big daddy of them all. While the 6.0L & 7.0L versions were grand in their own way, the 7.3L AMG V12 produces the most ferocious noise and if you've watched Hammond in Top Gear, you'll know what I mean. This GME version for the SSR7 tunnel is a Stage 1 tune that allows plenty of scope for improving the car in your own time, while knowing you have this handy base to fall back on if you do make your car worse. Capable of just under 400km/h in the tunnel and capable of cracking 400km/h in a top speed run, it's a good reminder that Ferrari isn't the only manufacturer with a great Italian hypercar.

The GME Zonda C12S 7.3, a new expression for car porn.

The STi Spec C was the ultimate sleeper in GT4, with it's nitrous glitch getting it to 7's on the 1/4 mile. But what people didn't know was it could do 9's without it. This knowledge has allowed me the insight to take the plunge and build the car again for GT5. We here in Australia are boxer crazy and have been ever since the WRX's launch in 1994 so it's only fitting that I build a few up for GME. Powered by it's EJ20 motor making 530hp and wearing Subaru Vintage Green Mica paint from the Liberty, it looks like no other Spec C you'll see on the 1/4. This car will pass through under the bridge at well over 130mph and takes out people in Evo 8 RS's all the time and will kill off any 22B that isn't the best of the best.

The Lexus LFA, the 21st century Japanese supercar. What the LFA is to Lexus is what the Enzo is to Ferrari, their collective souls poured into an artpiece of a car. I've always said that Lexus' are rich man's Toyota's and that's the truth. But it doesn't stop this car being an absolute gem in the Toyota family. We took the 4.8L V10 to just off 700hp with more to come with breaking in. Capable of well over 350km/h in the tunnel, it's an option to use apart from the usual Supra's.

The Option Z was originally built for one thing only, pure top speed. So to convert this into a full time tunnel drag car required a special touch to make sure the car doesn't bog down in turbo lag, or fry the tyres completely off. This tune strikes the right balance between both. Just done up with the Stage 3 turbo transforms it to a big boost beast, but it's the suspension that allows the car to stay on boost, being softer rather than harder on the dampers. It gives the car smashing performance, and gives you a different option to the other 700-800hp cars you've been playing with before.

The GME Option Z, the Z now stands for zoom.

The Cadillac Cien was a concept car that showed that GM knew how to make a fantastic supercar if it wanted to. With it's 7.5L V12 producing a mountain of hp already, it was left to us to maximise it. After throwing on a supercharger and everything else, it produced nearly 1000hp and weighed just over 1200kg. The result is a car that can go over 400km/h through the tunnel easily and will destroy any Enzo that hasn't been tuned to it's full potential. This is a Stage 1 tune allowing plenty of room in the bottom end, and more in the top end by just a slight adjustment in the final gear, but you will see it hit 420km/h in top speed.

The GME Cien, America now has a Veyron chaser.

The Dodge Viper American Club Racer has been known to be the best Viper of them all, beating the Laguna Seca lap record and scorching the Nurburgring in just over 7 minutes. With it's now 8.4L V10 cranking out some serious numbers already, it's been a drag racers dream in real life and GT5. Cooldude has already produced an ACR tunnel tune and so why is Mafs doing one? Quite simple, we have different styles of tuning. My own personal ACR ran this tune for a long time and between mine and cooldude's tunes, it gives you a sense of what direction to go aswell as giving you room to play with regarding your gearbox and suspension. Try them both for yourself and if you've got a mate, race my tune and cooldude's against eachother for some close racing where you depend on your reactions more.:mischievous:

The Accord has been Honda's answer to the mid-size family car market for many years, catering for different markets with the US & Euro editions. While the Euro has been famously carrying the H22 & K20 motors, the US edition has been carrying the C30 motor. While this motor has the torque, it doesn't have the overall power that the others have, so to rectify this issue we have decided to give this the power it deserves and to give it this power over a large rev range. The solution, turbocharge it!! Fully boosted to 521hp & only 1234kg, this thing is capable of over 200mph in the tunnel from a standing start and the ability to go further given the straight. The result is a car that looks understated but provides brilliant results, even without a spoiler to aid in downforce. Painted in Honda's Suzuka Blue Metallic, it gives the car a baby blue look, making it look even more understated. :)

The GME Accord EX Turbo......the biggest turbocharged Honda FF money can buy.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse has long been heralded as the poster boy for the Fast & The Furious generation, being in both FATF 1 & 2. But as it's aged and new generations come out, it's been bigger, fatter & slower so we gave it a new lease of life. This is the whole tamale folks, no neutered version this time to fit in a championship. You get a scintillating 549hp from it's now supercharged 3.8L V6 motor with enough torque to drag an elephant along. I've taken this puppy to SSR7 personally and have taken down quite a few SRT-4's, getting well over 200mph through the tunnel from a standing start. This won't just make Paul Walker proud, it will make him want a new pair of undies too.

The GME Mitsubishi Eclipse GT-S, the sophisticated supercharged street racer.

Hello, did anyone miss me??

I've just driven 1526km (948 miles) in 16.5hrs and it might be the fact I'm so overtired from that and all the adventures I've had back in my hometown of Sydney that I might be a bit delusional doing this but............

GME IS BACK OPEN FOR BANTER AND BS!! :D Big batch will be put on there still, but since I've just been moving houses around, I figured that GME needed to be moved too. What better place to put it, but in GME's true home the drag racing forum!! So, you now have all your tunes in an easier to find spot. :) All hyperlinks should be finished by tomorrow and any tuning queries just fire them across. đź‘Ť

Nice to see you back. :)

Thankyou mate, it's good to be back. No PS3 or GTP make mafia something something......:sly:

I'm just testing out a new headset I bought while down in Sydney (PS3 Stereo Wireless), and I need to catch up with my tuning....d2 and the boys should be on in the next few hours, but if any of you guys want to muck about, by all means join in.....I've got nothing else to do....I mean, it's 5am here....I'm WAY too overtired to want to sleep so I'll play GT5 till I get tired.

Isn't it funny I've just driven nearly 950 miles, yet the first game I get on the PS3 is a driving game.
