Of course! The more the merrier. Fantastic photos guys. Keep them coming...

Thanks, third largest motor museum in the Southern Hemisphere, and I live 5km from it. Some exhibits are permanent, but some are only loans and that may make for a nice steady stream of photos over the months.

Putting this one in the event and showroom page. It wasn't at either an event or in a showroom, but it was in a building so it's more suitable here:

Okay, I am definately going to the motor museum today (less than $10 admission, who'd say no!), so I will come back with some snaps.

Okay then, the first 2 pictures are up. I will be putting them up in parts (as there are quite a few and my net is 🤬), but I hope they are enjoyed by fellow :gtplanet: members. I went to the museum, and guess what!?! It was 100 years of Hudson! Those who don't like vintage look away now, you may not survive this.

Here is a shot of the three Hudsons currently on display. At the front, we have a wonderful 1935 Hudson Terraplane. Built bettween 1932 and 1938, The Hudson Terraplane was a more entry level Hudson. This one has been kept in wonderful condition, and was a real treat. I even got a peak at the Straight-6, but unfortunately was not allowed photos.

The black auto behind the Terraplane is a 1925 Hudson Sedan. The one thing that I found interesting was that the Hudson sedan featured an oil bath and cork clutch, amusing features due to their rarity.

Finally, at the back of the group, we have the beautiful, beautiful 1953 Hudson Hornet Twin II. Really spectacular this, had to take a close up (sorry for poor focus on some pictures, my focus is broken).

More soon!

I have pictures of every car from this place, but I'm not posting them all. Ask if you want another one.

Awesome pics on this page. Those vintage Ferraris are stunning! There are some awesome cars you saw in Auto Mall there Paul. The one we went to in Wanchai has been closed for renovations for a few weeks, but I should think it's back open now, after all it's multi-million dollat Christmas bonus time for all of the Island's bankers isn't it? We should check it out tomorrow. Also the one in happy Valley.

Now on sale:

Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG

I didn't realize how bad the snow obscured the image until just now. I could have probably just walked in taken photos, but it seems odd to just walk in, shoot 4 shots, then leave without saying a word.

Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Edition

Only US$299,000! A steal!

Happy holidays! I went hunting with Rue in the metropolis last week and these were our prizes. Pretty good collection considering we could only show you about 30% of what we managed to see.

I just want to see one Veyron some what in the wild. I don't care if it's a dealership. I don't think I've ever seen one come to think of it, That car is definitely near the top of my to see list and I don't know why . The sad part is a guy 20 miles away from me has one, but his garage is intive only :( but I'm not giving up.

Oh, and that Celica, it's pending restoration? That car looks perfect and clean unless the engine is dirty, but I'd believe it if someone told me it was in perfect condition. Good finds though it seems that Hong Kong has a few places like that around. I have three places that I can go to for some exotic cars and they no where near match those 👍

Check the Auto Mall in Troy, they've had a couple of Veyrons in there before.

The Celica is on sale for about $2,385 USD after it is restored, the car dealer said the vehicle is going to get some work done. When I asked "like what?" He replied "all round". I continued to mention things like "you mean the engine is going to get checked and parts replaced? Chassis restoration?" he just responded with a very unconvincing "yeah..."

Donno, but I think to most car buyers in HK, what we've come to consider as mint / good condition falls somewhere in the 'needing work done' before I'm paying for it.

The Celica just needed a good clean in the interior and maybe some trims replaced, otherwise its in fantastic condition.

I'll bear witness to that. Great pics mate, paticularly like the RR (I saw another 2 on the road over the festive period). I'm still trying to recover mine off my cameras. PS I think the Celica was US$20k+ wasn't it? Otherwise I'll be straight in there on Jan 1st with this months paycheck.

In the meantime (Carpro showroom, Gloucester Rd., Wanchai:

Yea you're right, I left out a zero in there, it should be $23,850 USD

Did you notice the plate on the Toyota Hiace in front of the SPS showroom? Quite an investment there methinks, seeing as 'WTF' went for around US$40,000!

eeeh... these "car malls", are so insane... can I have the pictures of the Skyline in full-unprudently high res? And ther red Honda too, pretty nice picture!! And now that we're on it, the rear of the Celica also? (: which, by the way, is insanely expensive.

Skyline, is that the real Road Agent? :0

Yup, still there. Gloucester Rd. Do you want to go along on Thursday on my day off?

I would take a guess and say that number is Hong Kong dollars. Converting $348k HK Dollars to US Dollars gives a price just under $45,000.

Ok, I know the skyline is really popular and rare, but how can that possibly be worth $348,000?!

We don't all live in America, mate. That's about 45,000 of your Floridian dollars.
