Ferrari F40 (Variation?)

GT by Citreon, a truly phenomenal vehicle. Far more stunning in real life compared to photos, screen shots or even certain driving games.

Bugatti Veyron (Purple) A fairly unusual colour for a Veyron I think, not one I'd heard about anyway.

This is the main reason for my post here, everything else up to this point was, although still stunning, not on the same level as this. For those that don't know this is a Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang. Just to disperse any ideas that it's just a chrome plated Veyron, I've checked in my photos the Pur Sang which features;

Wikipedia
The only difference from the standard Veyron is the body finishing: the Pur Sang has none, revealing the Veyron's pure aluminium-carbon fibre body, with just a clear coat protection.

The car in the pictures did have the carbon fibre centre part (or whatever you call it) I've checked from photos. The alloys also match up with what is described and shown. Why is this so special you may be asking? Well, the normal Veyron is pretty rare, this is rarer. Bugatti made 5 according to Wikipedia, this technically qualifies as one of the most rare cars I have ever seen. There was a huge crowd around this vehicle, it took well over 5 minutes to get any where near it, although I doubt that many of those people truly understood how rare this thing is.

I saw plenty of other rare cars such as the Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni and the Caparo T1. In total, I saw 3 Ferrari Enzo's, 2 Ferrari F40's and 2 Bugatti Veyrons. All in one day! Was very pleased!

 That was my guess.

The F40 is the F40LM I believe.

It has LM parts but doesn't look like all of them, the hood is from the stock F40. Any more pics of that Citroen GT? I've never liked it from the stock photos but I would love to see some more pictures from different angles.

Im guessing you just went to MPH?

Yeah :sly:

See thats what I thought, the LM has slightly different headlights too I think. Yeah I took loads of the GT, I'll put them up at some point.

A tease from the 14 & Woodward event, I'll be updating the actual thread shortly.

Fiat X1-9

Lovely, there are some people doing beautiful restorations of X1-9s over there. And picking great colours too. Most of the restored X1-9s in the UK seem to be in really dull colours like dark green or gold rather than bright Italian blues, reds and yellows. The Abarth wheels look great too.

2009 Turkey Rod Run @ Daytona. Day 1

Whole of International Drive smells of burning gasoline, sounds of superchargers, open exhaust and tires squealing. There is something for everyone either driving around or parked in Daytona, be it drag cars with 12 inch slicks and superchargers as tall as the roof at the light next to you, or just a gaggle of cars from 1930-1970 zooming down the road, sounding like thunder. Parking lots beachside are jam packed with classics and new performance cars, you'd have a hard time not coming home with a sore neck if your any kind of car lover, something exiting is always passing by or parked to look at, it really is a great time.

If I'm not completely sick tomorrow I'll be going back in for more. I got there late today the infield closed and I was unable to get at the really good stuff, but I did catch some cars on the way out of the tunnel. :D

That F40 and one of the Enzo's are both kept at that dealership all the time, the other Enzo is from Florida and there is not much info out there on it at all. I said "meh" because at this same show last year they had all the supercars and an 8c all lined up and this year I was disappointed in the turnout. I honestly didn't even look at your post because I don't like old cars and the Countach was way at the bottom.

That LP400 has been at the Meadowbrook Concourse in the past, fantastic car.
