Sweet I saw that CGT a few years ago.

Saw this exciting race about to happen between grandma and a Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse. It's the only one in the US. In case you can't read the plaque it says "Limited Edition 26/49".

Great pics from all. That Fiat is quite the spot! I love the first picture too. Very funny!

Am I the only person who finds that track ready Porsche gobsmackingly awesome?

Nope.

I think that one gets around a bit.

Scarsdale Concours, this past Sunday. I'm surprised they haven't posted pictures from this year yet. If they don't soon, I'll post my own. In the meantime, my favorite from this year:

Lotus Type 40

The owner started it up at the end of the show to get it on the trailer. I was just down the block when he did it and I could have sworn someone crashed -- violently. A huge metallic bang-crash followed immediately by typical open-exhaust V8 thunder...which didn't stop. It was epic.

Actually I saw it at the Scarsdale Concours lol. Saw it at the Greenwich Concours months before too.

I'll post my pics from the Scarsdale show sometime too.

Car Show :D

Capri: looks like some sort of Ford MOtorsport Special edition...Maybe even a Pace Car

"Quad-Freaking-Zilla": Oops. Sorry. There's a Monster Truck with that name...although, the colors are similar. Maybe the same guy owns both. I do like the bike engine.

"917": 'At's a Coyote. Correct me if I'm wrong, weren't those built by AJ Foyt?

911/930: UM....Okay...so he made his snap-oversteer problem into an "oversteer on OR off throttle" by adding an engine with low-end torque?

unless that's like a superlight aluminum water-jacket block...

Hooo Liiiii **** these are nice photos!
Are they on your Flickr page? I gotta go download some for wallpaper...
(I think your photos would be equally great without the post processing blur of the background, its a bit too visible on the photo of the Black 8C)

NISMO_SKYLINE that bike is great! I'm loving the design of that front fork!

The California really is the Jim Corr or Daniel Baldwin of the family isn't it.

oh yeah, 25th aniv Countach + 2000-plus pix. wide + SPhilipz = win. goin' der rite naw, chuk.

Edit: man, just tell me, why did you only took/put there pictures of the exotic trash, and not all the beautiful classics that seemed to be there? are you mental or wtf? I mean, I see 3 pictures of lame Ferraris, not a single interesting one (come on, a California? freaking lawnmower) yet I do not see pictures of the Siata (I think) race car in the background of the two Ford GTs picture (white, red wire wheels). How come? Even pictures of the black 365 GTB in the background would have been awesome. where is the full coverage of the beautiful yellow Alfa Romeo aside the C8? I mean, COME ON!!!! what are you? did you feel anything when, say, Bambi's mother died? How can you be so unsensible? Am I missing like 150 remaining pictures of this event? Is the world coming to an end?

Really, when are you gonna give us some intresting cars in your wonderful pictures? The most intresting thing I see there is the Abarth and the yellow Alfa... and of course the Countach. But come on, its saaaaaaaaaaaaad :guilty:

I've decided not to post the California in fear of Cano's wrath. As well as the fact that its piss ugly

If you were to see a California and take a shot of it, would you not post it?

Well first off I was in and out of the show really quickly. I left before all the cars even got there... Second, my definition of an interesting car is not the same as yours. I've never been a fan of classic cars, they just don't do anything for me like the California apparently doesn't do anything for you. See if you went to the show and you just posted pictures of the classics, I'd call you crazy for not posting the 8C, the Cali, or the Ford GTs. Leave me alone. :guilty:

Kudos for having a spine, this couldn't be more true. We all have slightly different tastes, that's what gives this thread diversity! Everyone just relax, lol.

but... BUT... THE SIATAAAAAAAAAA

yeah I can see that classic stuff is not your taste only by looking at your Flickr page. It's a freaking shame, we need those in your nice pictures. And I'd have taken the GTs and the 8C, not the lawnmower, tough. I wouldn't even take a picture of it, like 80Y said.

Thing is, I really envy everyone here who live in decent "car zones", unlike this god-forgotten place where a "concours d'elegance" is a place to go see 46 Fords, 1965 Mustangs hardtops and maybe a 1982 Rolls Royce. You really need to EXPLOIT what you have there.

I'm jut happy to see cool cars. I don't care if its a 8C or a Camaro. I try to get pictures of everything I see. In a few weeks I'm going to a concours I'll get a bunch of pictures :D.

You'd better. I want each and every 1969 HEMI Charger you have over there :dopey::dopey:

Some spots from the Auto Mall, and 2 videos...

Shocking, country-saving amounts of car-money in two videos

Cool! now all you need to do is get the mall guys to get them all out and smoke some rubber all at the same time. Yeah.

Or you could just go stand over a bridge and film. Even better: go stand over a bridge with a "smoke 'em if you got 'em" sign and see what happens :sly::sly:

Haha, the cars in those 2 videos are only a glimpse... imagine those half a dozen cars you see in the video, multiplied a few times over, spread out in a car park that holds roughly 200 cars (is that about right RUE?). Anyway, punchline is, its like Narnia there
