Nice little Honda powered Mini, that thing is awesome.

And the $398,000 Elise is in HK Dollars, which is about $51,000 USD.

Went to the multi-floor car market in Kowloon Bay today, RUE you gotta come check this place out some day, there are some very sweet cars about, and we can pop over to the SPS garage for a snoop.

Yes! I have been trying to find that place for a while but couldn't find the address. We should also go to the one in Wanchai, same set-up and some jaw dropping machinery (ironically they also had a SLK Black, same one perhaps). How did you get away with taking photos?! Gimme some tips ;)

Peugeot 205 T16

Renault 5 Turbo

OMFG, more pics of these two nutjobs?

RUE, I'm gonna come out some time this week, which day are you free to check out the cars? I literally want to spend half a day in these places (I had to miss out on lots of cars last time) I'd like to check out the one in Wanchai.

The Peugeot and the Renault are unbelievably bonkers! Amazing! Same owner I assume?

Tomorrow's (Tuesday) my day off, so good for me. Are you free? We can start in KL Bay showroom then SPS, then over to SPS in Chai Wan then onto Wanchai via the garages on Gloucester Road ending up in a pub. How does that sound?

I've seen both the Peugeot and Renault around before, but I don't think I've been ever able to snag a picture of them. They are both awesome for sure. Maybe I can finally be free to go to that car show sometime before it gets overly cold here.

I believe it is the same owner. There was guy behind the Peugeot and talking about it like it was his and I didn't see anyone else around the Renault. But the odds of those two cars being in the same state and owned by two random people are slim. He had an Eaastern European accent too.

Your lucky you live over in that area, over here we rarely see anything good unless we go to Ann Arbor. I found out the car show is 8 - 10 every Saturday, and they all leave at 10. We got there at 10:30 a few weeks ago and it was totally empty. If you make it on time though its pretty good.

I went to the Porsche Centre at Silverstone at the weekend whilst I was at the LMS event.

Obviously a plethora of Porsches, including a number of Panamera's - one of which was on their demo circuit there - it looked great doughnutting on the wet weather section! Also there's the RS Spyder LMP2 car on display and some classic Porsches too... also in the car park F430 Spider and Bentley GTC.

It's worth the walk down to the centre if you're ever at Silverstone.

Also saw and enjoyed the LMP's and GT's on track.. The Aston LMP1 makes a really cool noise :) ... and the Corvettes still sound like a sack of sledgehammers in a blender, played via a stadium sized PA system turned up to 11 :D , where as the Kolles Audi R10's still sound.. rubbish - a fatman running around the track would make more noise!

Thanks for the info!

I don't know how I feel about getting up early on a Saturday but I might just have to go over there. I don't think I'm doing anything this Saturday, hopefully the weather is nice.

These were at LMS. but in a public car park.

Joey, I know waking up early for it isn't the best but its kind of cool to go. Where I live we have to get up around 7 and leave around 7:30 if we want to see anything.

I suppose you're right. Depending on the weather and how much I party Friday night, I'll probably head over there since I'm more or less booked for the rest of the month.

Considering how awesome GM was back in the 70s through 80s regarding those things, I wouldn't be surprised if a SBC would bolt right into a Chevette.

The last two times we went we saw a R34 GT-R and then the two group B cars. It's worth atleast a trip the cars that show up are pretty good. I want to go more but its kind of a long drive.

Is it a blue R34? This on by chance?

I saw this in Troy last year and it was awesome.

It has to be. The plate on the one I saw was R34, original, but according to a video on Youtube of that car its 1 of 14 in the states. I think I know who owns it and to be in his mid or early 20's. For that area though it's not a surprise.

Here is the one I saw.

Yup that's the same one, same plate and driver description. Pretty impressive one ended up in Michigan, and just plain lucky it ended up in the area.

Yea its pretty cool to see one in person. I think next time I'm going to talk to him and see if I can get a closer look :sly:

Lamborghini LP670-SV in matte black. I didn't notice the Ferrari 16M next to it for at least 2 minutes... utter beast!

If it's still there & you get a chance, see what transmission they chose. If it's a 6-speed, consider yourself very lucky.

RE blue R34: I saw it at Autorama and had a decent chat with the owner, apparently it's got an exhaust done along with some other NISMO bits and more is/was planned.

RUE, sorry to break this to you, there were two 16Ms next to it, wasn't there? took me a while too...

Your photo is way nicer than mine. The black 430 was a Scud. Here's the Diablo that was under the cover, 6.0 SE

That thing has just been sitting there for years :(

What!? Those are incredibly rare, so I'm surprised they can't find anyone to take it off their hands. They go for around $200K in the US when they pop up.

i see a R35 GT-R pretty often during my morning commutes to work, i had a picture of it on my old RAZR cell but i haven't yet with my boring VGA Samsung camera. it looks and sounds awesome every time.
