Its an awesome place, but I hate the idea of it. Much like Monte Carlo or Dubai, it just makes them less special.

Like, for instance, those two GT3s. They look less special when together like that for sale, then if one where to pass you in a back street while your having your morning black on the way to work. Same with the Merc GL on that site.
I hate that front pic on the site with the guy clambering over a 430. It looks like he's hugging it like a teddy bear - and too me, it isn't something to be hugged. I dunno, maybe I'm weird, but it's maybe because you see more of them (apparently) in HK aswell.

First and foremost, we don't hug cars here, no matter how much they cost.

Yea the website is almost satirical in the way it display these cars, but that's just the way advertising works in HK... everything is so mellow (Not that I'm complaining, from a social standpoint it encourages more good behavior than bad). But a lot of times guys in adverts may appear borderline homosexual, lol.

I love these Porsche, any Porsche with a RR powertrain really. Yes it does feel diluted in a dealership of such conditions, but they are nevertheless still amazing cars wherever you see them.

I saw that green Focus RS blatting past my place in Sai Kung a couple of weeks ago but it was too quick to get a photo. I don't think a car is made less special if you see lots of them, the car is the same car no matter what. I still get excited when I see a Ferrari or a hot Porsche (even a GTR) even if I do see 2 or 3 of each a day.

Took the El Camino to a car show last night. It was raining so a lot of folks stayed home but a few cars showed up.

A few?! There's more US muscle there than I will ever see in my lifetime. Great stuff! Awesome photos too! 👍

If you think thats alot you should see it during the Summer when it's nice outside. There can be anywhere from 400-600 cars there. It's one of the largest Cruise-Ins in the South-Eastern United States IIRC.

By the by, was that ranger a 4x4x4? (did it have rear-wheel-steer?)
I really couldn't tell you but the chassis looked just like a monster truck shrunk down (Driver sat in the middle) so I would assume it did. They trailered it up there to.

Do you have a web gallery with hi res images of those cars? I'd love to use them for wallpaper...
Unfortunately, I don't but if you will let me know which picture you want in a bigger size, I can try and PM you it.

Won't we let him get away with a niiice set of OZ Superleggeras?

And I'm glad to see that yellow Suzuki Swift still throwing fists with the big boys. It could actually hold its ground when I saw it three years ago at Defi.

Found this pretty awesome VW dealer up by the Magnificent Mile in Chicago:

I was too shy to ask the lady to sit in the LP-560. Oh well. In total, I think there were 2 Murcielagos, 3 Gallardos, 4 430s (two Scuderias, don't know why I didn't get a shot of the white and golf one. It looked awesome), 4 Phantoms, 2 599s and maybe like 7 Continentals. And then they had more stuff upstairs.

And yes, a bunch of them were street parked. It was pretty awesome. I spent the better part of an hour just looking around at those cars.

Are you kidding me? It's the LP650-4 roadster...

I mean no offence by this, but some of us don't have time to keep track of every single supercar to be released.

Good spot though, you would certainly appear to be correct from what we can see.

But this was the biggest surprise. The guy bought the B.A.T 9 when he was 17 , and then sold it to help his wife with her breast cancer. She sadly lost the battle and he then talked with Alfa and Bertone to make another one and use as a way to promote his foundation. He is currently trying to get the B.A.T 11 into production and be built here in Michigan.

Wheego is actually based here in Atlanta, I've seen their test car driving around town a few times. It's not a very practical car as it only goes up to 25mph though.

Oh the company is American but they use the Shuanghuan Noble as a base platform to make it.

And supposedly the car does 70mph, but due to crash testing it's limited to 25mph for the LSV and 35mph for the MSV.

Speaking of Dattos:
http://tinypic.com/usermedia.php?uo=fVoSkrnCCycwQjJ74wWDjIh4l5k2TGxc

This was at the hillclimb today. There were two almost identical 510s there. This one, with the numberplate "SSS 510", stuffed it up on the chicane before this corner which is the final corner of the circuit. So he straightened it back out and span the wheels the rest of the way. 3rd outright was also a 510, but in orange rather than white.
