Just as I feared the most, the standard cars are simply GT4 cars in HD and with updated reflections. Ha!

Who else will NEVER drive those GT4 cars? Raise your hand.

GT5, as far as I'm concerned, only has 200 cars. As someone who can only use cockpit view, both in GT5P and GTPSP and, well, just about ever racer since I got used to it in GT5P, it eliminates a vast majority of the cars for my use....

Not a bad number, considering how beautifully recreated they are, but a bit disappointing considering how long they have been working on it. Not to complain though, the GT-R is premium, which, after the Celica GT-Four, was my first choice anyway. My goal now is to get the WRC cars in my garage.

With new physics it will be good!
But why they don't release GT4.5 with upscaled cars and tracks - we keep playing it until full GT5 with no BS like "standard/premium".All premium i mean.

The Ruins of an Abbey Built 800 Years Ago

This stage is set 30km south from the city of Sienna in middle Italia, at the abbey of San Galgano in the Hills of Tuscany. It is a ruin of a structure built back in the 13th century.

Now that I think about it... still got like 200 premium cars. Im looking through the Standard car video and they still look pretty good... I don't like the cockpit view... yeah I think this blow really hasn't hit me in anyway. If anything this 7 page explanation is quite interesting. I think we need a genuine screenshot of a standard car to be certain of what type of detial we will be getting. So far they don't match the premium cars because of the window tints...

This S:censored: is unacceptable

Wow, that is a bit of a letdown indeed. I would have presumed they would at least use more highres textures, and some extra subdivisions in the 3d model...
Maybe they will still do that though, you never know :)

The difference is too great. The premium models look insane, the standard models look... like they belong in another game entirely. This is a bigger crime than no cockpits.
