Really disappointed here. I expected all of the cars to have interiors, it would be enough if standard cars had Battle Gear 3 level cockpit detail, but no cockpit view at all? That´s terrible.
Specially since my favourite cars are 80s/90s classics (89 Toyota Supra, Nissan 300ZX, Mitsubishi 3000GT, Mercedes Benz 190) that will most probably not make it into the premiun car list. Maybe those aren´t as relevant as Suzuki capuccino. AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGH

Imo ,gran turismo will be like GT4,it will be played for years and while others will come close to it,they wont beat the graphics,amount of cars + physics.

So Forza will have the upper hand in both places,interiors and sound,it wont be enough but still,for a 60million+ game i expected it to have both.Now im looking forward to it,but more in a way of GT4 ported onto the ps3.

I am mad. Mad that Polyphony still greatly modeled the other vehicles. Mad that I can't cry about possibly not having cockpit views. Mad that I am not even mad.

After some math it turns out PD only modeled 3 "premium" cars per month for the last 5 and half years
Meanwhile in 2.5 years since Forza 2 Turn 10 has modeled 400 "premium" cars which look nearly as good as GT5 cars when not in game (360 cant handle them ingame). That's thirteen cars per month
And they're only going to have just 20 unique tracks
This would be acceptable if GT5 was released 2 years or even 1 year ago
PD better make up for it with an insane amount of online and racing features...otherwise Kaz has been squandering our money racing, sponsoring cars that fail to finish races, and doing red carpet events at movie premieres

I have been saying for quite some time now that I think PD is shifiting the GT nake away from just video games to a whole new larger entity. I think he is trying do what Sony did and grow from just an electronics and TV manufacturer to a conglomerate mutli faceted entity. And in doing so no one part gets as much attention as it would if that's all they focused on.

This game has been delayed and delayed for five years. ,anyway we spected more that what wasactually possible,yeah everyone will start the rant about the forza 3 450 "premium cars",but anyway,i just like more gt series somehow,forza 3 was good but it really didn't convince me,this does but that 800 re tweak models,really spoiled it,really it did,now is to see what they do for the release date,but I am telling you now the issue will be the 20 location, I really hate to see that they count the forward/reverse layout as 2 tracks
,so if they make that they just making a Gran Turismo 5 prologe II,great game but small scale,forgetting what they make them big in the first place,just that....

All seems to be blossoming into a beautiful relationship, but after apparently being hard at work during her "night shifts", finally admits she's was actually seeing other men this whole time, who aren't nearly as good looking and have nothing on the inside.....

Actually, I do have a complaint. It's a valid one regarding obsolete models.
GT5 better not have *EVERYTHING* from GT4 + PSP + new stuff. Let's face it, there's stuff that needs to leave for good.
The outdated concept cars for stuff that's out already (such as the Le Mans Quattro).
10 year old RUF models being passed off as "new".
The Corvette C5.R when the C6.R has been out for years.
LM Edition cars from GT3.
There are still some new sports cars that I've yet to see, such as the new Scirocco, new Focus RS, TVR Sagaris, Shelby GT500, the newer Zonda variants, the new Fiesta, Punto, Nuova 500, the facelifted RX-8 wasn't even in Forza 3 FFS.
Anyone else feel this way?

I feel you... Exactly what you said. Let alone the stuff from older Gran Turismo's and let GT5 be GT5.
Thinking of the concept "premium and standard" is very depressing. I have a strong feeling that this will hurt the GT series.
For some reason I hope they scrap all the standard models.

GT3 came out 8 months after the PS2 was launched and had 200 cars
GT5 is coming out 48 months after the PS3 launched and has 200 cars real cars, not counting the recycled GT4 garbage of course

Warning lights should have flashed crazy when asked to showcase the PS3's power in 2006 prior to the console's release PD gave us GTHD, aka GT4 upscaled to HD.
It looks like their pace is 50 cars a year maximum. And to top it off they only have 20 tracks, many of which are disposable. London, Rome, Madrid, all complete garbage tracks that may be good for photomode and thats it. Where is Spa? Where is Monza? I love how they added Daytona and Indy, but really no new REAL legendary European road course?
Even more scarier is that GT5P from March 2008 may have been all they had finished at that time track and car wise....
Either PD bit off way more then they can chew or they're going to blow us away with this new physics engine, AI and online and offline modes. They better, thats the only way to explain the nearly 6 years of work....if not and it turns out Kaz was taking it easy taking part in every single car show known to man, racing every enduro he can and brushing shoulders with as many automotive and racing big wigs as he can...
