epic rrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggee!
+1 👍
There are a few 2 faced people around here it seems. 1 day they die hard GT fans, next day they couldn't care less. I say to them, if you can do a better job with GT5 then please go ahead 👍
That's pretty impressive, since Prologue and GT5 are the only GT games with a cockpit view at all.Get a grip people, some people have only ever used cockpit view! They've taken away a major aspect of the game for us cockpit view users.
Forza has five hundred cars. GT5 has 1000. It's easy to see where Polyphony might have had to sacrifice some of the interiors, given the load of new features they themselves are introducing. And while it might have taken Turn 10 half the time to put Forza out than it's taken PD to get GT5 lined up, did Turn 10 spend two years building a circuit from scratch the way Polyphony have with Madrid and Rome?Oh, and look at all the fanboys going "Of course PD couldn't model all the interiors, that would take too much time blah blah blah". Look at Forza, LOOK AT IT! They've modelled some 500 cars, every single one with perfectly fine interiors, on top of creating a fully fledged game with countless features, in half the time it's taken PD to create GT5.
And it seems to be very easy for the upset people to overlook the sheer amount of work that has clearly gone into GT5. Nobody ever promised them 1000 cars with fully-rendered interiors, and I don't think the likes of Kaz cut the remaining 800 unless he absolutely had to. I'm not saying blind praise is the only form of acceptable currency around here, but I think it's bloody rude of people to get worked up and upset over a video game like this. It's not the end of the world, but some people are sure as hell treating it like it is, and they give the rest of us a bad reputation as whiners in the process.Easy to sling insults at the people who are upset when you don't sit back and look at the whole picture.
I'm willing to bet that if Polyphony added 1000 interiors to the game but cut dyanmic time and damage and all that other stuff, the forums would come alive with criticisms. There's just no pleasing people, and I can only come to the conclusion that no-one here is happy unless they have something to bitch about. Seriously, when has PD ever deleivered a poor-quality game? When have they ever given us a game that would have been so bad that if you threw up on it it would be 100% better? PD have a remarkable reputation for consistently producing games of exceptional quality, but as soon as people recieve news they don't like - be it the lack of interiors, delays in the release schedule or even if GT5 isn't the first game to be demonstrated at an expo - they're willing to forget the fact that PD have never let us down. It's insulting.Nobody would be raging if dynamic time was never included, or damage, or roll-over, etc etc.

Can't really be sorry for you guys. If you really can't see past this "setback" and it really overshadows all good in the game (as it seems so for quite many of you crying in this thread), you should really think about this a moment. It's a sad life you're living if that's the way you feel.

What an absolute, utter epic failure. Gran Turismo Flop is here!
Everything looks amazing. You bloody ripper! I'm excited and I've marked November 2nd on my Calandar. Was hoping for an earlier release but I am not complaining. This is all fantastic, everything I wanted to see and hear and read is all there. Great. 👍
So much for it being "The Real Driving Simulator" and all the bull dust about it being "genre defining".![]()
I've also become used to cockpit cam in Prologue and it's all I ever use, as it gives the game a more realistic look whilst driving the cars. But never mind.. it's not our loss. I mean I'm not going to spend even more money on an Xbox and get Forza.. because I don't want that, it doesn't interest me.

From earlier in the week, or so:
Now this is him when he finds out that 800 cars wont have interiors:

Okay. That's nice. I see you've clearly made a mistake so I'll correct you.
The first quote with all the positive praise towards PD was before I found out that 800 cars won't have an interior.
I am now calling them a failure since I have found out that 800 cars do not have interiors.
Make sense? I was looking forward to seeing all cars with interiror.
and just realised that I'm wasting my time here.
Edit: Also, @ EJRocky, what kind of poor soul comes to a thread dedicated for complaints to make fun of the people making complaints about something they have EVERY damn right to be annoyed by? Pack your bags and get out of the thread if that's all you're bring to the thread.
Yes, I know all that.
I just find it totally laughable that you go "OMGz GT5 is gonna be so so so amazing!@!!!" in the first quote, but then, when you find out about 800 of the cars having no interior, you call it a massive flop and an epic failure. Simply because the cars don't have any guts and ONE CAMERA VIEW is going to be excluded, completely ignoring all the amazing improvements that PD has made elsewhere.
You amaze me.
That one camera view can drastically change how some people perceive their immersion in the game, why are you still posting in this thread?
Edit: And NO, you don't have EVERY DAMN RIGHT to cyber bully other people.
HAHAHAHAH
Bunch of whiners. Even got a dedicated thread for whining, how dispitful is that.
The true Gt fans don't care about 800 cars without interior.
GT is best for the physics and the cars.
If you want realism you wouldn't drive in interior view.
Realism = driving with a topnotch wheel
And then having 2 wheels sets infront of you is not really realistic.
I love that they add wheater, day/night, headlights,... rather than cockpitview
But continue whining and then call yourself a gt fan
Bulloks
OK, I've mealowed out now, had a quick break and am happy to accept GT5 will still be excellent. I'm sad to see cockpit not included on so many cars, but there's always the possibility of DLC. I hope there is a bonnet view with a rear view mirror...... No more epic raaaaaage from me, but I still think the people criticising the ragers are ten fold more pathetic.
