Hello everyone,

this is my very first post here on GTPlanet.big fan ever since:gtpflag:
please let me know what you think of the setup!thanx:)

- no driving aids (TC=0, ABS=1)

Ford GT40 Race Car '69
- 559hp @998kg

fully modded

aero: 35/60

Max Speed: 350kph

RH F -40 R-35

SR F 10.5 R 12.8

EXT F7 R7

COMP F7 R7

ROLL BAR F5 R5

CAMBER F 2.5 (2.2 works also) R 2.5

TOE F -0.18 R 0.10

EDIT: driving around online i changed the front TOE -10, fitted better to my driving style (cudos to madmike1986 for the tipp)




Differential:

Initial: 0/25

Accel: 0/45

Braking: 0/50

Don't have one yet but this was my favorite car in GT3 and GT4. Looking at your settings this car (untuned) must naturally tend to oversteer. Is that right?

yeah its one of the best looking cars in the game imo but it naturally oversteers alot.without any setup i couldnt drive 100m without doin 360's
 
My tweaks, for Online @ Nurburgring, based on the OP's tune:
Turbo High RPM, 211mph 199mph

Aero: 30/55 max these instead...

LSD:

Ride: -20/+10 (usually essential for online..) -40/-10

Not entirely happy with the car yet, but I'm going to Race it Online and see if I discover some improvements... I noticed the car has a tendency for Flying, like the Enzo...

OP, Ty for posting your tune. The tune I was working on was at a fail point so I reset to values close to yours, ftw.

Edit: some edits in Bold.. will update again later..

thanks for your feedback.i will test your settings later online since i just tested it in training mode
 
BRAVO GUYS!!! Tried this at the ring and liked it so I took it to the Historic cup and WON BOTH!!! Finished 1.7 secs ahead at Deep Forest and .8 ahead at Cote'. Only my poor driving prevented these margins from being larger. Thanks to both VinceOne and Qxs-Storm for sharing their info.

Make a second PSN account with today's date and the year 1969 as the birthday. Get ticket for a 1969 car and transfer to your main account. Login in main account and accept ticket, exit game, backup the main account save game, start game and open ticket, revert save if you don't like the car and try again, eventually you'll get a 1969 race car.

I want this car too , just for the brlambrlamamam and the pleasure to tune it. But how can you transfer the car to your main account ?? His value is + than 1 .000.000 ??? Or it's diferent with Birthday cars???
If it's possibe to do this... i'll try later after job. I love this car.
 
It's not possible! The limit is 1'000'000CR and the Ford costs 19'980'000CR!

Doesn't matter if it's a birthday car or not.

You win this car in the endurance series or with the lvl 21 ticket you get after finishing the extrem series.

I had much fun to tune my Ford GT40 (link in my signature) and it sounds very nice.

Bad. It's dificult to progress and reach this car in BSPEC, because my game don't load time change races rain......... I think it's my CD ?? don't know, i've to buy a new one to check, but it's very expensive "just to check."

You dont send the car you send the ticket and you dont know what you get intill you use it

Don't transfer the car, just send the 69 ticket to your main account. You could also win the car by completing the Bspec endurance race at Indy

No option to send the ticket only. I've try now. i win the car i wanted ford gt40 race car, on another account but cannot transfer it not allowed,. The only solution i 've found is to tune the car on the other account ,let it there of course ,no other solution, put it to share with friend, and because i'm my best friend, i'll use it when i want to. I'll do this favour to myself.. Good isn't it??
 
To send the ticket, leave it in your 'car delivery'
Then go to 'community'
Select the name you want to send it to
Click 'gifts'
Car Tickets are the last on the list for me.
Select it
And choose which ticket you want to send.
People trade tickets regularly.
 
You have to add yourself as PSN friend, send the ticket to your main account, and open the ticket there. You cannot transfer the car afterwards redeeming the ticket.

6:30 time at the ring is pretty slow if you ask me. I run a 6:24 in my BMW M3 CSL. That's set to 500hp and 1150KG.

The car is 40 years old... and it only has 60 more HP and 100kg lighter. Let me say this again 40 years old.
 
Then explain to me why my Ferrari P4 will run faster times around the ring than my CSL. Even detuned to the same specs as the CSL. I ran this set up last night after reading your post. I ran a 6:28.6 was my fastest in an online room. I don't think being 40 years old has anything to do with it

That's a Ferrari bud. The GT40 is a Ford. If you knew Ferrari was the best funded racing team and best team in the '60. So naturally they had the best car. Also have you ever driven a GT40? That car is s impossible to drive fast. And a lot harder to drive than the P4.
