Rarest Cars in GT5?

You don't have to start the race. Just load the event and when yer at the screen where you have options, settings, start and exit, just exit. All you need is to see the loading screen. You don't need to start the race. Loads 6 new cars every loading screen. Simple.

Yeah she figured it out, I've always had a hard time explaining that process.

Actually, the point here is to avoid seeing loading screens. Using license tests, you load each test then the next one five times to fill the entire UCD. Using races, you load the track and cars once, then start, quit, and then start again 5 times without ever exiting the event(and thus waiting for more loading) to fill it.

If, as it sounds, you are loading the race and then going back to the GT Life menus and then reloading the race 5 times, you will be wasting much more time than if you do it with the license tests which load faster and don't require you to go back to the other menus in between.

This is how I do it except my method takes even longer as I run the races for money or challenge. :)

Noooooo.... Here's the thing, the way coupe_crazed explained to do it - you don't have to reload anything! You just load the Aspec Beginners Sunday Cup at Autumn Ring Mini just ONCE, and then start the race, exit (red exit button) and then start the race again 5 times, and the entire UCD gets recycled.

The point here is to avoid loading a race again. (Since loading is what takes the longest of anything.)

If you're going to reload a race - believe me, loading 5 license tests by pressing next is MUCH faster than that.

But loading the Autumn Ring Mini race just once & starting the race 5 times is even a bit faster than that. You don't even have to wait for the START to come on the screen, just start & immediately exit.

Good. I'll try that. All I ever read was every loading screen, only loading screen does it. So I loss the mini track to see loading screen. It loads and I hit exit and back to the screen with the 3 tracks. Then hit x again to loss mini track again. When it loads and yet at the screen able to start or options etc, I exit and back to track selection screen. Hit x to load mini and so on. All I ever read on gtp is you have to see the loading screen. One loading screen = one day, ucd car refresh.

This sucks cus I'm buying any car I don't have so I can get all. I have 800 now. Takes forever!

Dear All
I was looking to know what are the rarest cars in GT5, I like collect rare cars and also host online races using them:dopey:
I already have :
1)Nomad Diablo GT1
and I believe these cars are also rare:
2) Bentley speed 8
3) Jaguar XJR-9LM
4) Sauber C9
5) Escudo Dirt trial
6) TVR speed 12
please help me with the information you have and how rare you encounter a car in UCD or OCD:)
regards:)

I have every one of those cars.:D

I think the Standard Fiat 500's are rare ish ( atleast says MyGranturismo ) I have all

I have multiples of each of the standard Fiat 500s.

The reason they're "rare" on MyGranturismo database... is because I think most people just don't bother buying low power antiques!!! So you can't really go by what MyGranturismo says is "rare"... because it's just based on what people who are registered on that web site decide to buy. They don't have them in their inventory on MyGranturismo, because they simply don't bother buying them & collecting them.
They may in fact show up in their UCDs constantly - but they don't buy them.

I on the other hand, am not registered on MyGranturismo database. I like the web site, but I don't have the patience to make a catalogue!!
But I collect multiples of every low powered antique!

If you look at the races I'm involved in (in my signature) - this makes perfect sense.
I actually do a LOT of racing with low hp cars, and low power vintage cars.
(And also just the less popular road cars in general.)

Most of the cars in my garage are under 300hp. And I only have maybe 10-15 race cars, GTs, or super cars. Indeed, I also have very few modern sports cars, or what you would call "performance cars". I just like low power cars, antique cars, and road cars best. I think I am probably unusual in this, as I'm betting that most people's garages look quite different - in that they probably have more high performance cars, high hp cars, GTs, and race cars.

To skip the UCD faster: you load up any A-Spec race
Start the race
As soon as race starts, back out to pre-race screen
Start race again
Back out as soon as it starts
Repeat this process x5 times to refresh the entire UCD
:)

Wow, lots of comments ignoring my post. Never thinked about me as a troll :dunce:

By the way, mygt fiat 500 rarity value is 6 on a 1 to 10 scale. Ten is the rarest......
You are arguing about what you feel rare, not about gt5.

Unsubscribing unuseful thread.

  Did you even read my post??

If something is rare on Mygranturismo web site... It's because THOSE WHO HAVE TIME TO MAKE A CATALOGUES ON THAT WEB SITE JUST HAVE NOT BOUGHT THOSE CARS!!!!!!
(Ie: people with time on their hands and fastidious enough to update their catalogues constantly.)

Sorry, but I don't care how many people have catalogues at Mygranturismo site... FACT IS I DO NOT HAVE A CATALOGUE THERE... and MANY people do not.
And we have TONS of Fiat 500s. They're in my UCD CONSTANTLY.

They are NOT rare nor difficult to obtain.
Just that most people simply DO NOT WANT to attain them!!!

Use some logic!
Use some scientific method.
Use some verifiable statistical information.
Not a biased reference like polling obsessive people with time on their hands to make online catalogues of their garages!!

Come on, let's get another unscientific poll here - how many people snap up the vintage Fiat 500s when they show up in the UCD?
How many people reading this post actually bother to buy ANY Fiat 500????

This. I have a page on that website, and that's exactly how it works. The only "10" rarity cars I have that aren't DLC are little hatchbacks that I got from 1000 tickets. Not rare or desirable.

Thanks CAMjhr for backing me up.

Though I want to clarify this:
Not rare or desirable.

Not desirable to MOST people.

Very desirable to me!!
I collect all the kei cars, hatches, low power antiques, etc.
I love them!! I buy them constantly.
(I buy them so much that if I made a Mygranturismo catalogue, I would have to forgo eating :( & bathing :yuck: to have the time to keep it updated. LOL)

But I fully understand that I am in the minority!!!
Because I see many many many posts on this web site declaring my favourite cars in the game as "useless" and people saying things like "this should not be included in the game" and stuff like that!!!

Oh excuse me! That's my fault, I shouldn't have stated my opinion as fact. And don't get me wrong, I think the 2CV is a cool car and I love my pimped out Suzuki Cervo :).

I have all the cars in the op. Just been lucky enough to have enough credits when they appeared and I believe the Speed 8 I bought when they were in the ocd a little while ago. The car I'm after now is the 2J. I'm afraid to spend any credits because I don't want to have it show up and right before that I spent all my money lol.

Same here. It showed up once in my UCD and I was about 1.2 million credits shy. By the time I did enough races to earn the money, it had cycled out. This was before I started online B spec racing.

I keep about 13-14 million credits for the next time it comes up.

I figured what you meant & I was just joking... since I know you have a sense of humour considering the watermelon-as-insult misunderstanding.

If you like the 2CV, I highly recommend the vintage Fiat 500 R ‘72 - it's a standard model, and because it's a later year, it has better torque than the vintage Fiat 500 available in the premium dealership.

Oh, just trying to be polite :). And I'll be sure to keep my eye out for it!

SoCal Senator
It's a prize car for Classic muscle car event in A Spec. It's a dud.

It's not necessarily a dud, if you tune it up it suddenly becomes a low riding gangster car that can go 200 mph :D.
